Located in the heart of Tirana, the capital of Albania, the "Pyramid of Tirana" was built in 1988 as a monument to Albanian communist leader Enver Hoxha. It is a representative Brutalist building. MVRDV has developed a subversive renovation plan for this historic building and has now officially started construction. The designer retained the original concrete structure, "opened" the atrium area and the space around the building, added landscape, and set up cafes, studios and classrooms inside and outside the pyramid. It will reopen in mid-2023.

It is worth coming. It takes at least 2 hours to watch while taking pictures. The museum has a total of three floors to the uppermost platform. After watching the museum, it is a bit tight to walk and watch the photo. I saw the plane landing at the airport nearby, but the drone was not banned after a test flight. 🚫
