We arrived at the visitor center at 9:00 AM. After completing the exit procedures, we waited another 40 minutes (it takes time to process the documents). As members of the first group of tourists going abroad today, we gathered at 10:00 AM to begin our trip to Vietnam. At 11:10 AM, we crossed the border and our first stop was the Zhulin Buddhist Temple, where we overlooked Detian Waterfall from a high vantage point. Then we went down the mountain for lunch, and the Vietnamese Three Treasures meal was quite delicious. Afterwards, we arrived at the foot of the waterfall and took a bamboo raft to get close to it. At the shortest point, we estimated that we were only 10 meters away from the waterfall and were instantly drenched by the water vapor. We went ashore and continued to stroll along the water's edge, approaching the Ban Gioc Waterfall on the Vietnamese side. We once again felt the magnificent power of the waterfall and checked in at the Vietnamese boundary marker No. 836(2). At 2:15 PM, we returned to the border inspection building, cleared customs, and returned to China to continue our tour of Detian Waterfall, which was very spectacular and beautiful.
The combined ticket is the most cost-effective option right now. Detian Waterfall is truly excellent, whether it's the scenery, the experience, or the photos! Dongnayu Bay was a bit disappointing. Everyone said it was better than Mingshi Pastoral, but everywhere was under maintenance and closed. The boat service was okay (but nothing special). It wasn't tiring, but there weren't any highlights (I just remember the last part after the Sky Mirror, which had a lot of banana trees, haha).

The scenery is beautiful, almost breathtaking. The water level is a bit low in winter, but it's still very beautiful. The entire scenic area is well-designed, making for a comfortable and enjoyable visit with just the right amount of exercise.
It was a very satisfying trip. Transportation was convenient; we took the Huangguoshu Tourist Area shuttle bus. There are also shuttle buses within the Huangguoshu scenic area to take you to the attractions. Everything was very convenient, and it was a very enjoyable trip.

The unique landscape is worth seeing, but the entrance fee is a bit expensive. It's like a maze inside; if you treat the Greater Stone Forest as a maze, it's quite fun. The Lesser Stone Forest is mainly about the legends and stories. There are many shops nearby, but they're all scams, which is a major downside.
It's worth visiting, very good. There are fewer people this season. There are no refreshment points inside the scenic area, only automatic water vending machines at the entrance; there are none in other areas. I suggest adding more refreshment points. Abandoned facilities should be removed promptly, such as abandoned emergency telephones. Also, the scenic area's signage system is inadequate, the stones are far apart, and lack interest. The Stone Forest's charm relies on imagination; if the stones in front of visitors were displayed with more visually appealing signs, visitors would linger longer.

With its magnificent mountains, emerald waters, and stunning waterfalls, Xiaoqikong is a place of breathtaking beauty. Walking upstream along the Xiangshui River, breathing in the fresh air and listening to the melodious sound of the water, you'll find scenery at every turn. The enchanting Xiaoqikong Bridge, the ethereal Laya Waterfall, the majestic Cuigu Waterfall, and the wondrous Natural Bridge are all captivating. Xiaoqikong truly deserves its reputation as an emerald on Earth's belt.
The scenic area is very large, divided into several smaller attractions connected by shuttle buses. The entire route is well-designed, the shuttle buses are basically available on demand, the road signs are clear, and the staff are friendly and responsible. The Xiaoqikong and Daqikong scenic areas are connected by shuttle buses, and all offer beautiful scenery, making them well worth a visit.

It's beautiful, don't take the cable car unless you just want to experience it. Xishan District is very large, just go to Haigeng Park and the Seven-Arch Floating Bridge. You can visit these two attractions on two separate trips.
The scenery is quite beautiful. It's about 2 kilometers long, with 1 kilometer on Dianchi Lake and the other kilometer or so uphill. The uphill part is a little scary, but overall I would recommend giving it a try.

The iconic red-brick building complex within the scenic area, including the Kaleidoscope Art Museum, the Half-Cloud Artist's Salon, and the Seal Carving Workshop, is incredibly photogenic. Designed by Yunnan artist Luo Xu, these structures are built using local red bricks, without the aid of reinforced concrete. The Kaleidoscope Art Museum, shaped like a wine bottle and a flame, blends the wine culture of Mile with the fire culture of the Yi people. Sunlight filters through the perforated red-brick dome, creating ever-changing light and shadow effects, perfect for taking pictures. The Half-Cloud Artist's Salon, with its exterior resembling a floating cloud, houses a café and restaurant, ideal for a relaxing break.
Dongfengyun is named after Dongfeng Farm. There's a historical exhibition inside that's worth visiting. It would be very beautiful during the flower season, but by early November there aren't many flowers left. Honestly, the 80 yuan entrance fee isn't really worth it.

I have visited karst caves in many places, including Guangxi, Liaoning, Hunan, Hubei, Guizhou, Hebei, and Chongqing. The Zhijin Cave in Guizhou is the most breathtaking to me. Its landscape is magnificent, with unique shapes, graceful forms, and rare beauty. Wandering amidst the stunning karst scenery, I marvel at the Creator's favor upon Zhijin Cave. In my heart, Zhijin Cave is the "King of Karst Caves."
This cave would definitely be more fun if there weren't so many people. This is the largest cave I've ever been to; everyone cheered when we finally saw the exit. It's also very scenic; even though I've seen so many caves before, I was still amazed.

Hiring a guide for 200 yuan is definitely worth it. The guide will take you on a walk around and will take you to three intangible cultural heritage sites, such as silver jewelry sales, medicinal incense, and tea. You can buy things or not.
The miniature landscape park is quite large; you can easily walk through it in three hours. I recommend going as soon as the park opens, as many shows are combined at the beginning and become more scattered later, making it difficult to see everything. If you're short on time, it's not necessary to force yourself to go.

On my second visit, the commercial atmosphere was too strong. The entire town consisted mainly of food stalls and clothing rental shops. The scenery was beautiful, but the area within the paid scenic area wasn't very large. There's a large section of the ancient town outside the south gate, but once you leave through the south gate, you can't go back into the scenic area. Although the ticket price wasn't expensive, it was a bit of a shame that you couldn't explore the truly large area outside the south gate.
Qingyan Ancient Town was an important military stronghold during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Founded in the eleventh year of the Hongwu reign (1378), it boasts over 600 years of history and evolved from a mountainous military fortress. The streets and alleys are paved with stone, and the residences also feature stone walls, counters, and courtyards, showcasing Ming and Qing architectural styles. It's worth a stroll and a visit. You can try the local delicacies, such as tofu balls, ice jelly, and pig's feet. If you have time, be sure to climb the city walls.

This wildlife park is packed with interactive experiences and highly recommended for family trips. Almost all the animals are interactive; you can even pet the gentler ones like the Kapibala. You can feed the large carnivores, especially the bears near the entrance, for which there's a specially built viewing platform. The tigers are also available for feeding, and you can even take photos with the cubs up close. The only downside is the climb; the sightseeing bus only covers about 60% of the route…
I was still having fun teasing the birds and deer when a giraffe suddenly stretched its head out so enthusiastically that I fell on my backside. It probably thought my green shoulder-strap mascot was its food, not because it liked me that much. I was such a coward.
