Architectural Features
Unique Structure: The main tower stands 19.42 meters tall, with three floors and four pillars. It is constructed entirely of wood, using the mortise and tenon method, without any iron nails. Its helmet-shaped crest (resembling a general's helmet) and ruyi brackets are rare in ancient architecture.
Exquisite Craftsmanship: Four nanmu golden pillars extend through the roof, supporting the entire structure. Inside, a carved screen featuring "Yueyang Tower Inscription" (inscribed by Zhang Zhao during the Qing Dynasty) and a carved screen featuring Du Fu's poems (inscribed by Mao Zedong) hang.
