At the end of the summer vacation, I took the children to visit the Dragon Palace. The overall feeling was good. It was the first time for the children to see such a huge cave and underground river. They had a comprehensive understanding of the cave and underground river by drilling holes and taking a boat. During the tour, I also explained the formation principle of the cave to the children, which gave them an intuitive feeling of the wonders of nature. It was very nice!
Living in Anshun, you can actually visit quite a few attractions. Dragon Palace is a good choice for a day trip, or you can visit Dragon Palace first and then take a tour bus to Huangguoshu, saving time.
There are two ways to visit Dragon Palace: a direct tour and a reverse tour. The direct tour requires waiting in line for the boat and bus, and involves more uphill walking, before finally reaching the ticket office. The reverse tour ends with a walk along a commercial street and then a bus down the mountain. It's a matter of personal preference.
Overall, the ticket price for Dragon Palace is quite reasonable. After taking three boat rides, it seems worth it. If you have time, you can explore the area.

The vibrant sea of pink and white blossoms, set against the backdrop of emerald green tea fields and sparkling lakes, creates a breathtaking spring scene. Strolling through it feels like stepping into a dreamlike fairytale.
As soon as you step into the park, it feels like you have walked into a pink fairy tale world. Seven hundred thousand cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and the pink and white all over the mountains are as misty as clouds, which is breathtakingly beautiful. Surrounding it is the Red Maple Lake, the blue water of the lake, which contrasts with the cherry blossom forest, forming a picturesque scenery. Those who are physically fit can climb to the top of the mountain to see the beautiful scenery, but the elderly probably don't have the physical strength to climb up, so they usually take a boat directly after the visit. The beautiful scenery is at the top of the mountain. If your physical strength allows, go and see it. In fact, it took more than 3 hours for the whole journey. Because I went early. I waited for an hour and a half to wait for the Miao village performance at 12:30, and it took a total of 5 hours.
The Getu River Scenic Area is open from 9:30 to 2:30 in the afternoon. The craftsmen, inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, and residents of ordinary villages are all friendly and enthusiastic. The folk customs here are simple and the time is quiet, which can heal everything. Sitting on the bench in the dyeing workshop, quietly waiting for the work; sitting on the wooden steps to watch the performance, the dog came and went to greet, the chickens crowed and the smoke came; the big hole was amazing, the people climbed the rock with bare hands without any distractions, and thousands of swallows lingered; the boat drove smoothly on the Getu River, and you could also see the hanging coffins of the ancient ancestors.
