The newly opened Anyang Yinxu Museum offers a detailed introduction to historical artifacts from the Shang Dynasty. My friend, who loves bronze artifacts, insisted on visiting. The artifacts are much smaller than at other major museums, but they are small and exquisite. The instructors were knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. It was a very pleasant cultural experience.
Yinxu is no ordinary loess site; it serves as a gene bank for deciphering Eastern civilization. Astonishing oracle bone inscriptions trace the origins of Chinese characters back to the Shang Dynasty, ultimately confirming the Yin and Shang dynasty as described in the "Records of the Grand Historian." Heavy bronze artifacts and brutal human sacrifices reveal the bloody intertwining of divine authority and monarchy. This 3,000-year-old East Asian capital, with its grand urban architecture and sophisticated ritual system, laid the foundation for subsequent Chinese civilization. Its value lies not only in its astonishing artifacts but also in its definitive end to the era of doubt about antiquity, ensuring that the authentic history of Chinese civilization stands tall and firm.

Wenfeng Pagoda is located within Tianning Temple. The temple was built before the pagoda, so exploring on your own won't reveal much of its history. It's recommended to book a guided tour to learn more about the history. The tour costs 25 yuan per person, and two people can have one guide. Given its age, even the pagoda itself lacks murals. Climbing is currently prohibited, but the guide said the summit can accommodate around 100 people, offering panoramic views. The current area is one-third of the original temple's size. The brick paintings on the pagoda are beautiful, each brick holding a moving story.
There is a Wenfeng Tower in the center of Anyang City. The tower is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, and the color combination of red and green is quite rare and beautiful. In the past, you could go up the Wenfeng Tower, but due to the recent increase in tourists, you are no longer allowed to go up.

本想沉浸式体验一下伟大的商文明,通过视觉冲击感受一下武丁和妇好的时代,怎奈突然刮大风活动取消了。只能看看屏幕解解渴了,下次再来,希望能补上这一课。
I visited Anyang for the second time during the Chinese New Year. I found out about this show when I was doing some research before I left, so I arranged it on the same day as the Yinxu Museum. You don't need to buy tickets in advance, just buy them on Ctrip one day in advance. The weather was very cold during the Chinese New Year this year, but they still insisted on performing outdoors, and the actors worked very hard. The water curtain and laser made the show very exciting. Because it was a windy night, the water from the fountain kept blowing towards the audience seats. Before the show started, the staff gave each audience a disposable raincoat, and the service was very thoughtful. The show lasted about 40-50 minutes. There was also a laser show after the show. When the show ended, I found that the water from the fountain had formed a thin layer of ice on the floor and railings, which shows how cold the weather was that day. Because this was my second visit to Yinxu, I am familiar with this place. The performance location and the recommended parking location are shown in the picture. The parking fee is 5 yuan per time. Because the show was at night, the surrounding traffic was not congested, and there were not many cars in the parking lot. Parking is more convenient.
