Xiamen Botanical Garden has mature tourist facilities and a cost-effective electric car service. You can go up and down at each station for ten yuan. The mountain elevator runs in both directions. The rainforest and succulent areas are very distinctive, and the mountain and sea scenery is unforgettable.
It's super awesome. It was the right choice as the first stop in Xiamen. I avoided the peak travel and entered the park after 3:30 pm. Basically, people were almost gone. I took a bus to several favorite attractions and walked around slowly by myself. The scenery was particularly good. I found a young man to take a few photos. It was cheap at this time, and I could take my time to choose the photos. I took the last bus down the mountain and ended the trip perfectly.

The scenery of Hulishan Fort is very beautiful, and you can also learn about the history of the bombardment of Kinmen and the past resistance against foreign enemies. The overall feeling after the tour is very good, the sea view is very beautiful, and you can see some of the islands of Kinmen, which is impressive.
The attraction isn't very large, but it's worth a visit for those interested in history.

The scenery on the boat is very beautiful and the overall fun is also very strong. I have been on Guangzhou and other Shanghai boats before, but the culture on this boat is not as good. The entertainment activities on this boat are very motivating. But the meal is just average. I went there late at night and there was nothing to eat. Although there was always food to eat, the variety became very limited.
The night cruise on the Xiamen ferry was amazing! The sea breeze was so comfortable, and the night view of Gulangyu Island looked like it was covered in stars. The buildings outlined by the lights were so charming. You could also watch the light show on both sides of the strait. It was so relaxing to chat in the breeze. It was worth the price of admission!

The price/performance ratio is acceptable. The scenery is great, but unfortunately the weather was bad, cloudy and rainy in the afternoon. The fog was quite thick, and there was basically no scenery to see in the second half! The climb was indeed very easy.
There are elevators for those with large elevation differences, but no climbing required. Suitable for the elderly and children. Enter and exit from the east gate. Take the cable car first, then start your walk. There are stone benches throughout for rest. When we visited, the middle section was still under construction; there's no restaurant at the top, so only water, drinks, and snacks are available. A bit pricey. I personally don't think the mountaintop accommodations are worth the price.
A B&B nearby is more cost-effective.

Loved it. Lots to do, you could spend all day there. Also make sure you hire a buggy. This place is huge.
The Fantawild Hotel in Xiamen is quite unique. When we got there, we went to Fantawild to play. We saw that the room we booked could see the light show at night. The swimming pool was also very nice. It was very special to swim on rainy days. You could even see the fireworks. However, I lost a pair of slippers there and couldn't find them. Maybe I thought Fantawild was so good that I didn't want to come back.

The mountaintop train from Mingyue Mountain to Yangsimu is worth a try on a clear day. The scenery is blue sky, white clouds, and lush greenery. Entering the cave, passing through the tunnel, and emerging onto another mountaintop is truly a rare and wonderful experience.

The ticket is 30 yuan and there are paper tickets. There are not many people. It doesn't take long to walk around the route. The air conditioning is great. It's too hot outside. Cherish every air-conditioned room. It is a must-see attraction in Gulangyu. Next to it is Sunlight Rock and not far from Haoyue Garden. The whole Gulangyu is not big, and there are several paid attractions with passes.
Shuzhuang Garden is amazing! It perfectly combines the elegance of Jiangnan gardens with the majesty of the sea. Canghai Garden is "hidden first and then revealed". When you turn out of the Moon Cave Gate, the shock of the sea rushing towards you is unforgettable; the rockery maze of the Twelve Caves in the Bushan Garden is full of fun, where you can shuttle with family and friends to find the zodiac. There is also a piano museum where you can listen to the beautiful piano music.

I went to Shantou Fantawild many years ago and was pretty average. Ganzhou Fantawild, with its vibrant red theme, is quite enjoyable. My two older kids had a blast. After the Ganzhou Cultural Tourism subsidy, tickets are 180 yuan each (only two tickets are allowed), and you can buy them with two different phone numbers, making it a great value.

It was a very interesting experience to take a sailboat for the first time. I bought the order on Ctrip, which was simple and convenient. At the appointed time, more than a dozen people gathered together and put on life jackets 🦺 to get on the boat. The trip took a while, and there was definitely enough time to take pictures. The wind was very strong, and my hair was flying in the photos. I suggest wearing a hat, hahaha.
It's worth it, but we went during the off-season, so the price is relatively expensive during holidays. The scenery on the sea is great. The wind and waves are a bit strong in winter. When there is no fog, you can see Taiwan on the other side. If you are super lucky, you can see marine animals such as dolphins. We didn't see any when we went there.
