Our team was led by Chen Chen, a teacher from Elephant Cultural Tourism. Every trip was a spiritual journey. Chen Chen was sincere, professional, and attentive. He encouraged us as we walked, encouraging us to calm down, eliminate distractions, and abandon impetuousness. We passed the Western Hills Grottoes: Binyang Three Caves, Ten Thousand Buddha Caves, Lotus Cave, Fengxian Temple, and looked up at the Oriental Mona Lisa, the Vairocana Buddha. The 2.5-hour explanation carried thousands of years of history and art.
The ticket price for Longmen Grottoes is very high. You can experience the treasure of art for 90 yuan. When the lights are on at night, the caves thousands of years ago are reflected in the modern equipment, which is quite shocking. The only drawback is that the 10 yuan battery car to enter the scenic area is a bit of an IQ tax, and queuing is almost no longer than walking. It is slightly better to come back, but it is also parked far away, and you have to walk a few hundred meters to visit the commercial street.

Laojun Mountain has beautiful scenery, but it's quite high, so I recommend taking the first-level cable car. Otherwise, the climb to the middle of the mountain takes four to five hours, and there's no scenery along the way! There are many steps between the first and second-level cable cars, so it's not recommended for the elderly or young children, as it's physically demanding. However, the scenery along the way is quite good! The section from the Ten-Li Painting Screen to the Golden Summit is a must-see. However, our hike was foggy and rainy, so it was a bit disappointing to enjoy the distant scenery. I'll definitely come back again!
It's definitely worth the trip. My family of four had a fantastic experience visiting Laojun Mountain! It was a refreshing escape from the summer heat. We took the cable car to the summit, then hiked to admire the sea of clouds. The Golden Summit Taoist temple complex was breathtaking and magnificent. The kids were thrilled to try their hand at the cliff walk, and the whole family exclaimed, "This wonderland truly lives up to its reputation!"

The full marks are all for the hanging sculptures in the Main Hall. I followed the Black Mythology all the way here. The previous temples have their own merits, but the shock that Xiaoxitian gives you is not a little bit. Xiaoxitian Temple is definitely worth a visit. Since it was the end of summer vacation, the crowds weren't very large. I arrived a little after 7:00 AM and entered around 7:25 AM. Climbing the stairs and crawling through the caves to reach the Main Hall, the morning sunlight reflected beautifully on the hanging sculptures, which was quite stunning. I watched the video explanation beforehand to get a few insights, and I admire the ancient people's creativity and execution. The staff on the side also praised me, saying, "The light is best in the morning. You've made the right choice." Key point: The light is best in the morning!

Aside from the crowds and short performances, everything else was great. I spent the last two days at Shenzhou Square watching the iron flower show, watching show after show, and still not satisfied. I've made plans to come back next year. I missed the "Three Strikes of Zhujiazhuang," but the iron flower show at Shenzhou Square is even better. Whenever there's a show, it's packed. Even when I go out at night, it's completely packed with tricycles and snack vendors, and the grounds are littered with trash. I hope the government will clean up the market and provide a better experience for tourists.
Wansui Mountain Wuxia City is the most cost-effective in the whole Kaifeng. It is too big and the most sincere scenic spot. The scenic spots inside are rich in layers and have their own characteristics. It is the only place worth visiting in Kaifeng. Qingming Shanghe Park is not as good as this. Wansui Mountain Wuxia City > Qingming Shanghe Park
