The Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix was founded in 1937. It covers an area of 145 acres and has 50,000 species of desert plants, one-third of which are locally owned, and 139 species are rare, threatened or endangered. Walking in the environment of plants, flowers, birds, butterflies and some wild animals is like a paradise.
