Sandieling Waterfall is located in Xinling Village, Hurun Town, Jingxi County, 30 kilometers northwest of the county seat. It is named after Sandieling. The waterfall has a drop of 100 meters and a width of more than 30 meters. "Guishun Prefecture Chronicle" states: "The waterfall sprays foam, splashes jade and jumps pearls, like a silk thread across the sky." In the rainy season, the water is sufficient, and the sound shakes for several miles. The foam splashes like smoke and fog, floating a hundred meters away. The provincial road passes under it. Looking up at the waterfall, it looks like the Milky Way falling, like a hanging silk thread, majestic and spectacular, so there is a beautiful sentence "Starry Milky Way flowing pearls falling from the sky". Sandieling Waterfall is one of the eight scenic spots in Jingxi. Cai Hongzun, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, wrote in a poem: "Split the green lotus, and it will fall like pearls. The springs will flow in a hundred ways, and the river will be like a silk thread. I came to visit the beautiful place, and the beautiful place is like a painting." There is also a legend about Sandieling Waterfall. In ancient mythology, when Nuwa was refining five-colored stones to repair the sky, she was careless and let a hole leak in the Milky Way. The water of the Milky Way poured down. Nuwa had no way to save the situation and could only sigh. She randomly pointed three times with her jade finger, and the beautiful Sandieling Waterfall was formed.
