Laigu Glacier, one of the world's three largest glaciers, is located in Ranwu Town, Basu County, Qamdo Prefecture, Tibet. It offers a glimpse into a dreamlike wonderland of 10,000-year-old blue ice. The crystal-clear ice, snow-capped mountains, and glacial lakes create a breathtaking spectacle, akin to stepping back into the Ice Age and experiencing the power of nature. The best viewing period is from December to February, when the ice is solid and at its largest. At an altitude of approximately 4,200 meters, be prepared for cold and altitude sickness, and crampons are recommended for safe trekking.
The blue ice caves of Laigu and Yalong Glaciers. Due to global warming, the glaciers are melting rapidly, so be sure to visit in the next few years; any later and you might miss them! While the entrance fee is not cheap, catching sight of that glimpse of blue will be a memorable experience for a lifetime!

Tibet! I would like to do it thousands of times! To see the most beautiful scenery of Ranwu Lake, you must go there in early spring in Tibet, around mid-to-late April, when the frozen lake surface has just melted, the azure blue water is exposed above the ice, and the snow-capped mountains are reflected in the water. After seeing it, you can't help but sigh: It's so beautiful!
In winter, I entered Tibet. The first time I passed by Ranwu Lake, it was already frozen. After the driver's test, we were relieved to play on the lake. The lake is surrounded by glaciers and snow-capped mountains. If the weather is good, the photos will be very beautiful! The return trip went in another direction, and I saw a brand new, different Ranwu Lake, also surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the lake is clear and blue, sparkling in the sun, very beautiful, you can also go down the lake, take pictures and punch in very well! On the Internet, it is said that Wuhu depends on the meltwater of the snow-capped mountains, so the weather season will also affect the viewing to a certain extent. When you go, remember to do a good job of strategy. Anyway, Tibet is worth it! !
