Beihai trip, a date with the sea Recently I just came back from a trip to Beihai, I can't wait to share this unforgettable experience with you. Silver Beach is really amazing, worthy of the reputation of "the first beach in the world". The sand is as delicate as flour, stepping on it barefoot, and the soft touch comes from the soles of the feet, which is extremely pleasant. In the evening, the sunset is spilled on the beach, and the whole world is dyed warm orange, and the atmosphere is a blockbuster. Here, you can enjoy the sun beach and waves, relaxing. Qiaogang style street is full of fireworks, is a paradise for food lovers. As soon as you enter here, the aroma of various foods will come out. Vietnam rolls, crab noodles, roasted oysters...everything is mouth-watering. At night, the Qiaogang style street, neon lights flashing, lively, while eating food, while feeling this lively atmosphere, happiness is bursting. Weizhou Island is a highlight of the trip to the North Sea. As the largest dead volcano island in China, the island's scenery and unique volcanic geological landscape are amazing. The volcanic rocks in the Crocodile Mountain Volcano Park are strange and strange, as if they are carefully carved artworks by nature. The sea erosion landform of the dripping Danping is beautiful, and at sunset, the embers spill on the sea, sparkling, and beautiful. Beihai Old Street is full of historical charm, built in 1883, the street is a unique Chinese and Western combination of riding buildings, strolling in it, as if crossing back to the past, can feel the prosperity of Beihai once. Today, it is also a lively commercial street where you can enjoy the old buildings, taste local cuisine and buy special souvenirs. However, the North Sea has some minor drawbacks. For example, some attractions are more commercialized, like Qiaogang Style Street, although there are many foods, but some net red shops are not cost-effective. There is also the climate of the North Sea. The summer is long and hot. It belongs to the kind of hot and sultry. It is easy to sticky on the body. It is occasionally cold in winter, and there is no heating. The room is wet and cold. In addition, there are relatively many mosquitoes in the North Sea. You must take anti-mosquito measures to play. Overall, Beihai is a very worthwhile tourist attraction. There are beautiful sea views, rich cuisine and unique human landscape. If you also like the sea, yearning for a leisurely seaside life, then the North Sea will not let you down, pack your bags, come to a romantic encounter with the North Sea!
What impressed me most was the sand—it was so fine and white, so soft to the touch, not at all uncomfortable, and I didn't feel tired even after walking for a long time. The water looked clean, and the waves weren't too strong. It was a wonderful summer day spent playing in the water and sand, and if you bring children, they'll have a blast on the beach for the better part of a day. The scenic area is also quite convenient. If you want to rinse your feet after playing in the sand, there are plenty of pools everywhere, so you don't have to bring your own water. The parking lot is also spacious, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot if you drive. If you want to do something else, you can rent a boat for a tour or take a helicopter ride to see the ocean from above. If you don't feel like moving, just find a shaded spot on the beach and bask in the sun. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby, including many seafood stalls serving freshly caught shrimp, crab, and shellfish, all very fresh. Just be sure to ask for the prices to avoid getting ripped off. There are some downsides, though. For example, on holidays, the beach is incredibly crowded, making it difficult to find a free spot. Taking photos is always crowded, and some vendors keep asking if you want to buy something, which can be a bit annoying. Overall, if you want to relax and take your kids to the water, this is a great place to go. Avoid weekends and holidays for a much better experience.

The scenic area is mainly about performances, which young people enjoy, but older people might find staying up late too much. The sun is too strong during the day, but the evening performances are quite varied. We saw it at 9:30, and there were rumors of more performances later. The eunuchs' performance was excellent, and their acting skills were impressive. The many improvisations were quite enjoyable.
This scenic area is essentially a live stage, surrounded by a circle of shops offering mainly food and drinks. It's very sunny during the day, with few people and few shows, but it gets lively at night. The live performance was fantastic, but unfortunately, I was busy taking care of my kids and didn't fully understand the story. The host also served as a singer, which was quite impressive! The young men and women danced beautifully, and there was even a performance by a foreign woman. The stage blends seamlessly with the audience, and the actors' looks are incredibly good up close—a rare sight! They're much better than those photos online that rely on filters. Overall, it's a great value.

Recently, I visited Beihai Old Street. Stepping onto it felt like stepping back in time. The 1.44-kilometer-long street is lined with arcade-style buildings, a fusion of Chinese and Western styles. Their carved window bars and arched doorways speak of a bygone era of prosperity. Strolling along, the aroma of various local snacks fills the air, from crispy shrimp crackers to smooth and delicious rice rolls. Small shops display a dazzling array of items, including shell carvings and pearls. As the sun sets, its afterglow casts a gentle hue on the old street, making it a truly captivating experience. Beihai Old Street is truly a treasure of this city's history and culture.
It's just so-so. The most distinctive feature is that the arcade and the sea can become a scenery. There is also a coffee shop where you can see the sea ☕️. Apart from that, there are shops. The sea water is relatively dirty because it is downstream. The main thing to come here is to see the characteristic arcade buildings 🏗️. If you want to see the sea, choose another place.

The scenery of Beihai Golden Beach is also good, and the beach is also very comfortable. You can walk here, exercise, sing and dance, and do many things. Especially the sunset at night is very beautiful, and there are many people walking here.
Beihai Golden Beach has few people, beautiful scenery and good air. You can also go to the beach to catch seafood. There are many seafood such as clams, shrimps and crabs to play with. There are different sunsets every day on the sea plank road to enjoy and take pictures. There are also Beibu Gulf No. 1 and Gaode Ancient Town to play... It is worth recommending.

Luckily, we had good weather and found it very beautiful. Going up from Crowbar Beach, you can see ships entering and leaving the port, which is quite shocking. Qiaogang Beach is very close to Qiaogang Style Street. You can take a sightseeing bus or walk there. It is about 1 kilometer long, which is quite close. Qiaogang Beach and Silver Beach are connected on the map, but they are not interconnected. They are separated by the ship outlet in the middle. They are also very beautiful and worth seeing. The wind and waves are bigger than those of Silver Beach. Qiaogang Style Street is actually a snack street. The buildings on both sides are ordinary houses without any characteristics. There are many foods on the street, and they are not very cheap. The sky looks more beautiful because of the background of the sea, and the sea has a more mysterious feeling because of the favor of the sky. I passed by the seaside, closed my eyes, and felt mixed with sorrow and joy.
Qiaogang Beach is close to the main urban area of Beihai, with convenient transportation. It faces the South China Sea, has a wide view and beautiful natural scenery. There are also folk streets, food cities, seafood markets, etc. around it, which you can visit together.

I went to Beihai with my friends. I don't know if I will have the chance to visit Beihai again in the future. I hope so. There are a lot of food here in Beihai, including seafood stalls, snacks, Hong Kong-style refreshments, and Sichuan cuisine. They are open until late, which is suitable for lazy tourists like us. Beibu Gulf is very lively, and there are several shopping malls. I ate several meals here.
Beibu Gulf Square, I just passed by here. I followed the navigation from Beihai Old Street to find the old sites of Impression 1876 and accidentally came here. It's quite far and I took a long detour. Beihai's urban construction is quite beautiful. I ate pork trotter rice noodles near the square. The price is quite cheap.
