The University of Cambridge (Cambridge) is a leading research university based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, using a traditional collegiate system.
It is a member of the Russell Group, the Global University Presidents Forum, the Global Alliance of Universities, the International Applied Science and Technology Development Network, and the Cambridge University Health Partnership. It has fostered the "Silicon Fen" technology hub and is known as a "Golden Triangle University" and a "G5 University."
The University of Cambridge is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world and the fourth-oldest surviving university in the world.
