Jiuzhaigou is the ceiling of domestic scenic spots in my opinion. I have been to so many places and lived in Xinjiang and Jiuzhaigou is the place I will never forget. Of course, Guilin is also one of them, because Guilin is different for me, but Jiuzhaigou is really beautiful. There are so many children who are really beautiful. It is very, very beautiful. I think if a doctor has not been to Jiuzhaigou, he has really lived in vain. Next time I will bring my family to come again

It was already afternoon when we arrived. The weather was good; September is definitely off-season, so there were almost no lines anywhere. Even the most popular flowers and leaves took only 20 minutes to see. However, the security guard said they had to go back indoors at 4 p.m., so it's hard to say whether you could see them at that time. Try to go early in the morning; they open very early, usually around 8 p.m. However, if it rains, there will be fewer pandas outside, especially the red pandas, especially the five red pandas born in 25 years. I hope everyone is lucky enough to see them. I really have to complain about the poor signage and directions. I took a lot of detours.
The overall environment at the base was great. The temperature wasn't high in September, so the pandas were happy to be outdoors. The star panda, Huahua, was quite random in her schedule, so I didn't see her despite lining up for a spot, which was a slight disappointment. I saw quite a few other pandas, all very cute. There were many more pandas than at the North Gate, so I spent half a day entering through the South Gate and exiting through the North Gate. Overall, it was a good value.

When visiting Dujiangyan, it's essential to hire an official tour guide. Our guide, Xiao Deng, was very nice. He proactively took photos for us and allowed ample time at each stop for photos, resting, and shopping. His explanations were also very thorough. The guide fee was 40 yuan per person, which was a great deal.
It's quite far from downtown Chengdu, but there's a direct bus service available with a ticket. I went into special forces mode this morning, heading directly from Chunxi Road to Sanxingdui. At 2:00 PM, I took the direct bus to Dujiangyan (it was already 3:30 PM). From the entrance, I took a 10-yuan bus from Qinyan Tower, which was a smooth, downhill drive. Dinner was served at the surrounding snack streets (be sure to head further into the street or toward the end; the further you go, the cheaper and more diverse the food; the more expensive the street food is). Then, at night, I went to Nanqiao to check out the Blue Tears. At 9:30 PM, I caught the last bus back to Chunxi Road. The whole day was exhausting.

The Sanxingdui Museum is truly one of the most awe-inspiring museums I've visited this year, standing tall alongside the East Building of the Shanghai Museum. Walking through it feels like traveling through a realm of gods and immortals. Bronze sacred trees reach heaven and earth, golden masks radiate with brilliance, and every artifact seems to carry the breath of ancient Shu shamans. They are so unfamiliar, yet they strike so powerfully with the modern soul—the creativity and spiritual tension born of mystical faith are almost chilling. We often assume history is linear, but Sanxingdui, with its surreal gestures, reminds us: civilization has always been diverse, and the unknown far outweighs the known. Standing before these artifacts, I feel not only beauty but also a human inquiry, unfaded by the sifting of time.
I have to write a review very carefully!!! Mr. Wenjun is the best museum guide I've had in recent years. He speaks at a leisurely pace and provides pictures and videos. He combines historical facts, the Classic of Mountains and Seas, traditional myths and legends, the 24 solar terms, the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, and other content to explain the cultural relics of Sanxingdui. The three-hour content is coherent and complete. I hope to have the opportunity to invite Mr. Wenjun to explain it to me next time I visit the Jinsha Museum.

It exceeded my expectations. I originally thought it was just a thatched cottage, but in 2024, the Li Du Hall was newly opened. It has the intersecting stories of Li Bai and Du Fu, as well as the chronology of famous Tang Dynasty poets displayed in the form of rulers. The museum has good greenery, many inscriptions and calligraphy, and rich cultural landscapes.
It is still worth a visit. The environment is quiet and beautiful, and you can be influenced by the art of the poet. There is an exhibition hall that sorts the famous poems of the early Tang Dynasty, the prosperous Tang Dynasty, the middle Tang Dynasty, and the late Tang Dynasty in chronological order with the corresponding poets. Many famous poems match each other.

The garden is very large, with many inscriptions. Just to open it, you need to understand or review "The Memorial to the Emperor on Leaving the Capital" and the story of the Three Kingdoms in advance to have a deeper understanding of the cultural heritage. Otherwise, you will just be rushing around and appreciate the garden design.
Teacher Yang Huan's lectures were engaging and gave us a deeper understanding of the history of the Three Kingdoms. We were surprised by the randomly assigned teacher's excellence. The children braved the heat and listened attentively throughout the entire lecture. Although they certainly didn't understand much, they were captivated by the teacher. The Wuhou Temple is a small scenic area, and the summer crowds made the experience less enjoyable. However, it was still worth it to hear Teacher Yang's professional explanations. It's a good option during the off-season, but you don't need to make a special trip during the peak season.

This is a truly remarkable Taoist mountain with a beautiful environment and convenient transportation. You can take the high-speed rail directly from Chengdu to the base of the mountain, and then take a shuttle bus to the scenic area. There are many good restaurants at the foot of the mountain, all with a pleasant environment. The service facilities are excellent, making it worthy of being a 5A-rated scenic spot.
It was incredibly fun because the mountain path was incredibly shaky and broken. The bricks on the way down were incredibly steep. At one point, they were only half the width of my shoes, so I had to walk sideways, like a crab. There was a section of broken, cracked, and uneven road that hurt my feet. Also, there was a section of the path next to a cliff, which was so scary that my legs gave out. We took the cable car up, and the scenery was beautiful. We came down with trekking poles. My legs had been hurting for a week, and if it weren't for the kind old man who gave me the poles, it would have taken even longer. Thank you so much! 🙏 The pitfall: There's also a boat ride for 5 yuan. You know how short it is? I got on the boat and checked my phone. When we arrived, there were no seats. We were leaning against a broken wall, and there was a huge pit. I recommend walking. During peak season, be prepared to wait in line for the cable car. We waited for half an hour up the mountain. There was a large fan outside, and the whole tent was set up to cool off. Some shameless people stood in front of the fan, enjoying themselves. The tent was like a sauna. I suggest you be a little more polite, please. To summarize, we arrived at 10:00 AM, climbed the mountain at 12:00 PM, took the cable car, and it took four hours to get down, arriving at 4:30 PM. From Qingcheng Mountain Train Station, we bought a round-trip ticket that took us all the way to the mountain gate, but the return trip ended at 5:00 PM. We almost missed our flight. This is ridiculous. On rainy days, the roads are very slippery, so be extra careful. I mean that. Pay attention to your personal safety on rainy days. Stay a few days until the rain stops. The scenery is beautiful and it's not dangerous yet, so check the weather forecast before you go. This is the front of Qingcheng Mountain. I recommend driving to the back. Finally... if you're also afraid of heights, don't try to be brave. Forget about hiking up and down. I really recommend hiring a car for the entire trip. It's cheap, and the view is great just for the view. I'll never climb again, anyway.

There will be a slight altitude reaction here. It rained when I came in the morning, and the water I saw along the way was yellow. I was very disappointed and worried that I had come here for nothing. But I didn't expect that when I walked to Wucai, I found that the pool water here was just like the one in the textbook. It was so beautiful. It was really beautiful. When I went down the mountain, there were clouds and mist all the way. I felt that my life would be like a smooth road. I was really happy.
if you're heading to jiuzhaigou, don't forget about huanglong too! world's largest travertine pool, very pretty! easy to get around too, can explore the whole area within 5hrs

Taking the cable car, you can have a panoramic view of the rushing Yangtze River, the ever-changing mountain city, or the dazzling night scene. This experience that combines literature, art, romance, liveliness, and three-dimensionality allows people to fully experience the unique charm of Chongqing.
Once a daily commute, it's now a popular tourist destination. It's witnessed the passage of history, economic development, the fulfillment of life, and the footprints of those who strive for a better life.

To be honest, the zoo ticket is really worth it. There are so many animals in it, which is very suitable for children to play. Next time I come to Chongqing, I will definitely bring my children with me.
I made a special trip to come early to see the pandas, but there were live broadcasts and cameras everywhere. I couldn't tell whether the pandas were watching the fun or the people. The other animals weren't very enthusiastic and all stayed in the breeding room.
