The Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area has beautiful scenery, with snow-capped mountains in the distance, beautiful colorful forests nearby, and waterfalls. The downside is that the shuttle bus takes a long time, taking two hours to go there and back, including waiting for the bus. The tour routes in the scenic area are not very clear, so it is easy to take the wrong path and waste more time.
After entering the scenic area ticket gate, we took a bus for about half an hour to the edge of Tianchi Lake. The area around Tianchi Lake is mainly for sightseeing, nothing special. The entrance fee and bus tickets for this section are quite expensive.
For more beautiful views, you need to buy separate tickets for the minibus and cable car up Maya Mountain. The cable car fare for this section is also quite high (200 yuan purchased through a travel agency).
We bought two naan breads for lunch at the scenic area, each costing 6 yuan, which was quite reasonable.

The first day I visited, it was closed due to snow, but the next day I heard it was open, so I went back immediately. Although the snow-capped mountains were covered in mist, it was still beautiful. You must drive there.
The mountains are covered with green, but it is by no means a monotonous green. There are tender green, emerald green, dark green... It is like a huge palette, painted on the hillside by an invisible hand, dotted with countless unknown wild flowers, yellow, purple, and white, like scattered stars.

Xinjiang Grand Theater is located in the suburbs of Urumqi. It covers a large area and has a spacious parking lot. There is a buffet on the first floor of the theater. The tour group arranged dinner here that day and went directly to watch the Thousand Returns to the Western Regions performance after dinner. There are entrances to the performance hall on the second and third floors of the theater, which are divided into odd and even numbers. The theater is large and imposing.
Xinjiang Grand Theater is the most famous modern architectural landmark in Xinjiang. Located on the west bank of Tunhe River in Changji City, the Grand Theater often stages large-scale song and dance performances featuring Xinjiang folk customs: "A Thousand Returns to the Western Regions".
