Orange Island, a dazzling pearl embedded in the landscape of Changsha, carries a profound historical and cultural heritage and holds immense significance. It is not only a National 5A-level tourist attraction but also the visual centerpiece of Changsha's distinctive "Mountain, Water, Island, and City" landscape. A visit to Changsha without visiting Orange Island would be like missing out on the city's soul. Here, you can take a photo with the magnificent sculpture of a young Mao Zedong. The sculpture, reflecting people's deep remembrance of the great man, attracts countless visitors seeking to check in and trace his legacy. Besides its rich cultural heritage, Orange Island's natural scenery is equally captivating. Surrounded by water, overlooking Yuelu Mountain to the west and the ancient city to the east, its flat terrain makes it the largest island among the sandbars in the lower reaches of the Xiangjiang River and the world's largest inland island, earning it the title of "China's First Island."
On this special day of the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Day, after watching the military parade, I came to the place where the great man once lived. On the Xiangjiang River, I enjoyed the most beautiful night view on Orange Island. The world has changed dramatically over the years, and the current peaceful and prosperous era is also the dream that our ancestors fought for. Long live the motherland.

A small pavilion mainly records the life and birth of Du Fu, and then travels all the way. Some of the videos are only three stories high. When there is nowhere to go, you can go up and take a walk. It is Orange Island on the other side of the river and take some photos.
The night view of Du Fu Jiangge is more beautiful than the day view. It is crowded at night, but deserted during the day. The performance is also quite exciting, but it is too short. It ended in 10 minutes, which was too fast. I didn't have time to see it clearly. I almost didn't see anything. I suggest that the performance time can be longer in the future to make it more worthwhile.

Yuelu Mountain is the tail peak of Nanyue 72 peaks, at an altitude of 300.8 meters, located on the west bank of the Xiangjiang River. It is a very rare urban mountain-type scenic spot. Yuelu Mountain is a huge "plant museum". There are 174 species of plants in the scenic area, 977 species, ancient trees and famous trees, and they can be seen everywhere. Yuelu Mountain is a famous mountain, and there are many scenic spots. There are 21 key cultural relics protected at the provincial level. The secludedness of the night pavilion, the depth of Yuelu Academy, the ancient history of Lushan Temple, the Qing Dynasty of Yunxi Palace, as well as Baihequan, Yuwang Monument, Ernan Poetry Carvings, Yusheli Tower, Yinxin Stone House, etc. are all fascinating. There are also celebrities such as Huang Xing, Cai Yue, Chen Tianhua, which are more solemn in the cangsong and cypress. Yuelu Mountain integrates the Confucianism, Buddha and Tao of the essence of ancient Chinese culture, and includes the cultural connotation of Yuelu Mountain that was jointly developed by the great minds, the old monks and the sauvignons. The famous pavilion of Love Wanting was founded in 1792 by Luo Dian, president of Yuelu College. It is also known as the four famous pavilions in China, the Zuiweng Pavilion in Zhangzhou, Anhui, the Huxin Pavilion in Hangzhou West Lake, and the Taoran Pavilion in Beijing Taoran Park. Love Wanting original red leaf pavilion, because "parking to love Fenglin night, frost leaf red in February flower" renamed love Wanting. In 1952, Hunan University was renovated, and the president Li Da wrote a special letter to Chairman Mao and wrote the "love Wanting" pavilion. In 1969, Yuelushan Park was rebuilt, and Chairman Mao's cursive handprint "Qiyuan Spring-Changsha" was engraved in the algae well, adding luster to the ancient pavilion. The ancient Lushan Temple was built in the first four years of Xijin Tai (268 AD), and the four words "Gu Lushan Temple" on the mountain gate were written by Li Yan, a calligrapher and literaryist in the Tang Dynasty, and printed from the stone of Lushan Temple. Yunxi Palace was built in the 14th year of Mingchenghua (1478 AD) before this legend Huang Guanyu Shimu this famous mountain resort for retreat, but there is no literature to test. Baihequan is located on the south side of the Guanyin Pavilion of Yuelu Mountain, a famous ancient well in the Song Dynasty. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, the pavilion was scrapped. In 1956, the Changsha Municipal People's Government rebuilt Baihe Spring. Make tea with this spring water, the spring water is refreshing, and it can prolong life, which is a must in Yuelu Mountain. From ancient times to the present, residents from far and near have the habit of coming here sooner or later to get water and drink.
The teacher who gave the tour was very good. He took us all the way from the Dongfanghong Square to Yuelu Academy. He also gave explanations along the way. It included reservations and tickets for Yuelu Academy. It was really good value for money!

This is a theme park perfect for children. ⚠️ Parking is in the underground parking lot 300 meters away from Window of the World. 1. In the summer, be sure to wear sunscreen and bring plenty of food and water. 2. Must-try attractions include the Ferris wheel, the "Go Forward" ride, the "Pendulum Ride," and the roller coaster. 3. Some food stalls sell food, but they're quite expensive.
It's worth a visit. It's recommended to go at night because the sun is too strong during the day. However, the children had a lot of fun. The wild people of Malan Mountain had water splashing interactions, and they were still happy even if they got wet... The layout of the venue is a bit scattered, the signs are clear, and the waiting time for some projects is a bit long. It is recommended to inform tourists of the approximate waiting time and whether each project is open should also be clearly informed

The hotel is very close to the city center, mostly within walking distance. It's relatively new, with excellent bedding and smart controls. The shower was large and comfortable. The service was excellent and welcoming. Free mineral water was provided, which was very useful in the summer.
Changsha is really amazing, the nightlife is too powerful, and I still have to turn over the table and wait for dinner at 12 o'clock in the evening. The popular online celebrities are all in a row of 3 or 4 hours and hundreds of seats. I really don't understand why young people are willing to pay for such a long queue time now? Anyway, I don't want to. The lights at Tianxin Pavilion at night really still meet the nightlife of Changsha. You can go and see it.

A vibrant light brings dreams back to Chang'an. Changsha Tongguan Kiln National Style Park | A glimpse into the vibrant atmosphere of the Tang Dynasty through the millennia. Located in Wangcheng, Changsha, this site is based on the Tongguan Kiln ruins, known as the "First Ancient Town on the Maritime Silk Road." This recreates the splendor of the Changsha Kiln from 1,200 years ago during the Tang Dynasty. A UNESCO-certified world-class cultural IP!
It's very convenient. You can enter the scenic area by scanning the code. No need to redeem the ticket offline. I watched the iron flower show, light and water show, fireworks, Black Stone Ferry and other performances, which were very exciting.

A Stroll through Changsha's May Day Square: A Perfect Blend of Food, Neon Lights, and the Bustling Lives of the City Walking amidst the neon lights, clutching a bowl of freshly-cooked stinky tofu, the fragrant, spicy aroma wafting through my face—that's my first impression of Changsha's May Day Square: bustling and vibrant. The moment I stepped out of the May Day Square subway station, I was enveloped by the vibrant energy of the place. As Changsha's core business district and a city landmark, May Day Square blends bustling commerce, a diverse culinary scene, rich cultural heritage, and a vibrant nightlife. It's not only a shopping paradise but also a gathering place for young people. The shops lining the streets are vibrant and bustling, and every step is a tribute to the city's vitality, with unexpected surprises around every corner. --- 01 A Food Paradise: The Taste of Changsha on Your Tongue The charm of May Day Square lies first and foremost in its mouth-watering cuisine. Walking along the pedestrian street, the alluring aromas are irresistible, and the snack shops are everywhere. Stinky tofu is Changsha's most famous snack. It may smell unpleasant, but it tastes incredibly delicious. My first stinky tofu stall was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and incredibly spicy. It completely changed my perception of stinky tofu. Besides stinky tofu, there are other Hunan specialties like chopped pepper fish head and sugar-coated glutinous rice cakes, each of which is irresistible. Pozi Street is a renowned food hub, home to renowned restaurants like Fire Palace and Shuangyanlou. Cha Yan Yue Se, a local Changsha specialty tea brand, has locations around May Day Square. Its Chinese-themed design blends traditional tea culture with modern beverages. Its signature drinks, such as the Orchid Latte and Sheng Sheng Oolong, are not to be missed. 02 The City Living Room: A fusion of prosperity and history May Day Square can be considered Changsha's "city living room." Its metro station is the intersection of Lines 1 and 2, offering extremely convenient transportation. With its vibrant neon lights and bustling crowds, the square is a vibrant and bustling place, like Changsha's version of New York's Times Square. The solemn and majestic bronze statue of Huang Xing stands out, while the food archway at its entrance is eye-catching and dazzling. The streets on both sides are filled with the atmosphere of bustling life. Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street, stretching 838 meters from Simenkou in the north to Nanmenkou in the south, is one of Changsha's most bustling areas. Taiping Street, accessible from Exit 1 of May Day Square, is a historic old street that has preserved its original historical architecture while incorporating modern commercial elements. A stroll through it offers both quaint architecture and a vibrant cultural atmosphere. 03 An Internet-Celebrity Landmark, the Shining Face of Modern Changsha IFS, directly accessible from Exit 3A of May Day Square, is a large shopping mall integrating shopping, entertainment, and dining. The sculpture "KAWS: HOLIDAY" outside the mall has become a popular online photo spot, with two giant puppets perched on the roof, attracting countless tourists lining up for photos. At night, May Day Square reveals a new charm. Jiefang West Road is Changsha's "Bar Street." At night, it lights up brilliantly and bustles with activity, making it a paradise for nightlife lovers. Standing in May Day Square, you can see the surrounding high-rise buildings ablaze with lights and flashing neon lights, creating a bustling urban atmosphere.
Wuyi Square is the commercial core and transportation hub of Changsha. The surrounding high-rise buildings are intertwined with old streets and alleys. During the day, the traffic shows the vitality of the city, and the neon flashes at night add a bustling atmosphere. The scenery has a unique urban fireworks. There are many gourmet snacks, trendy shops and online red punch points here. Whether it is tasting Changsha specialties, shopping and experiencing local life, it is full of fun. Although there are some consumption items, there are also many free experiences and beautiful scenery, and the price is acceptable.

Taiping Old Street has a unique Hunan style. It is a bustling city with many ancient buildings preserved in the crisscrossing alleys. You can see the shadow of old Changsha. In the endless stream of people, the shouts, the steaming and fragrant food, everything in front of you is a lively and stable life, which can heal all fatigue. Address: 50 meters southwest of the intersection of Wuyi Avenue and Taiping Street, Tianxin District, Changsha City, Hunan Province
Walking in Changsha Taiping Old Street, it seems like traveling through time and space and entering a long history. This is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Changsha, carrying more than two thousand years of memory. The old street is not long, but it condenses the history and culture of Changsha. The buildings on the street are quaint, the bluestone road has been polished smooth by the years, and there are shops in the style of Ming and Qing Dynasties on both sides. The wooden doors and windows, the fire-proof walls, each of which exudes a simple atmosphere. Jia Yi's former residence is located here. The ancient well, the ancestral hall, and the mottled bamboo shadows tell the feelings of this famous scholar of the Western Han Dynasty who was concerned about the country and the people. Continuing forward, historical sites such as the former site of the Tongjinhui of the Xinhai Revolution and the former site of the Sizheng Society came into view one by one, and they witnessed the changes in Changsha. And those time-honored shops, such as Gan Yisheng Grain Store, Lisheng Salt Store, and Dongtingchun Teahouse, make people feel the strong commercial culture. Taiping Old Street not only has a profound historical heritage, but also rich food. The old scales in the handmade scale shop and the exquisite handicrafts in the intangible cultural heritage exhibition center all attract tourists to stop. On the street snack stalls, sugar-coated cakes, stinky tofu, and hairy tofu are all mouth-watering. As night falls, Taiping Old Street is lit up, and the ancient buildings are more charming in the light and shadow. In the cultural and creative market, young people experience traditional skills such as woodblock printing and lamp glass, where the ancient and the modern are perfectly integrated. "Thousand-year-old Taiping Street, a history of Changsha." Walking through it, every step is a dialogue with history, and every place is a moving picture.

交通方便,地铁3号线直达目的地。夏季清爽圣地。适合遛娃,解压,消暑,散心。美食丰富,推荐项目:尖叫谷,黄金蟒,过山车,急速大回环,章鱼滑道等等。值得期待
Dawangshan Tourist Resort is highly recommended for its affordable prices and five-star quality services. This time, I used IHG points to redeem the room and still enjoyed the benefits of Zhiyue membership. The front desk staff not only upgraded the room, but also generously gave breakfast, dining vouchers, beverage vouchers, desserts and fruit plates, as well as caring services and help throughout the whole process. I would also like to sincerely thank the manager for recommending the most cost-effective buffet dinner, and providing the most thoughtful and high-quality services during the meal. This is the most practical and attentive buffet I have eaten in recent years. There are many types of barbecue, seafood, hot pot, Japanese food, desserts, etc., and the taste is good. It is completely suitable for people from different places and different tastes.

It's strange to even review the Xiang River as a tourist attraction here. Isn't the Xiang River everywhere in Changsha, Hunan? Orange Island is right in the middle of the Xiang River, and climbing Yuelu Mountain gives you a view of the Xiang River. Du Fu's River Pavilion is also on the riverbank. All the attractions are centered around the Xiang River. So, if you come to the Yangtze River and don't see the Xiang River, you're not even in Changsha. There's not much to see during the day, so it's better to enjoy the night view.
As the mother river of Changsha, Xiangjiang River is beautiful along the coast. Red walls are like Xia, white sand like snow, weeping willows like silk, and sails like clouds, forming a beautiful natural picture. There are historical and cultural landscapes such as Du Fujiang Pavilion and Orange Island on the riverside, which can make you feel the deep cultural heritage; You can also take a cruise to enjoy the scenery, or stroll in the scenery belt, full of comfort. Whether it is enjoying the natural scenery during the day or watching the light show at night, it is full of fun. And most of the Xiangjiang River tour areas are free and cost-effective.
