The scenery is quite beautiful. It is indeed tiring after a day, but there are many shuttle buses to the scenic area, which is very convenient. However, there are no staff around 5 o'clock, and if you drop something, you can't find anyone.
The itinerary was very straightforward, just a pick-up and drop-off. The driver provided clear information, including where and when to board the bus. There was no sales pitch, and it was quiet. I really enjoyed it. The time in Huanglong was definitely sufficient. It takes about two hours to get to Jiuzhaigou from Huanglong.

Take the cable car up, then walk a distance to reach the Five Color Pool, and finally walk down to the exit. If you don't take the cable car, the way up and down is actually the same, so you can just walk once. It was May when I went there, and there was not much water, so the scenery was not very good, but there were not many people either. It would be difficult to take pictures if there were too many people.
The scenery is pleasant and there is a cable car for climbing the mountain. However, I didn't book the sightseeing bus ticket in advance, so I couldn't buy it later. Although it wasn't too tiring to walk to the Five Color Pool and then down the mountain, it still took a lot of effort.

Travel with your dog to Zhagana. The scenic area is pet-friendly. You can climb along the wooden plank road with your dog. There is a large lawn at Fairy Beach where you can overlook Zhagana. Many restaurants are located on the mountainside. The air is very fresh and it is very comfortable to stroll slowly.
Zhagana (meaning "stone box" in Tibetan), a "stone city wonderland" forgotten by time, has a different kind of beauty when you stray into Zhagana on a rainy day. How wonderful is it that it has been rated as a must-see secret place by National Geographic?

You can experience the Bird Path and the Monkey Path. The Guanlou is relatively new, rebuilt after the 2008 earthquake. It is mainly for experiencing the Shu Road from a cultural perspective. Since we just came out of western Sichuan, the experience of the steep mountains is not so good. The whole journey takes two and a half hours, consumes 1,400 calories, and dinner is supplemented by vegetables.
To reach Jianmen Pass, there's a shuttle bus from the bus terminal next to Guangyuan Railway Station. The bus also stops at the North Gate (where the cable car begins) and terminates at the main gate of Jianmen Pass. For those who can't climb the mountain, the best way is to exit at the North Gate, take the cable car, and then slowly descend. The entire journey is downhill, so it's gentle and not tiring. There are two interactive festivals on the mountain: a monkey trail and a bird trail. Choose your favorite path based on your courage.

The variety of animals here is still acceptable, but I recently visited several other zoos and found that the animals here are not very happy. I hope that one day this place can be like Chimelong, where the animals can live happily.
The Qinling Wildlife Park is fantastic, with a rich variety of animals and great air near the Qinling Mountains. This is my second time here. My last visit was in the winter of 2024, but I arrived late and didn't see everything. Transportation is a bit inconvenient, and I recommend getting a subway line soon. 🚇 This zoo is a classic, and I'll be back sometime.

My photos are all of the treasures unearthed from the underground palace of Famen Temple, taken in the first and third exhibition halls. Some of the treasures have been shipped off, but they're still enough to dazzle your eyes. I also heard a local tell a story about a pagoda that was photoshopped halfway down in 1981. It was because a pomegranate tree on top was struck by lightning, and the tree's roots propped the pagoda apart. Then, a month of rain followed, and the pagoda was washed away by the water. It looks like what you see in Figure 9. When the government decided to rebuild it, they discovered the underground palace.
