Chichen Itza is a historical marvel. The pyramid and intricate carvings are a trip back in time. Crowded, but the vibe is worth it. A must see!!
The Mayan temples here are preserved extremely well and are a must visit when you are in Mexico. The history and the architecture are fascinating and the fact that they were built so well is incredible. Make sure to have at least 1.5 hours to cover everything and more to do it at a leisurely pace.

99% of tourists who come to Cancun will choose to check in at the New 7 Wonders of the World! It takes about 2 and a half hours to drive from Cancun Hotel to Chichen Itza to learn about the past and present of the Mayan ruins. There are many souvenir stalls around, which can be given to relatives and friends. It is recommended that tourists snorkel in the surrounding Mayan patios in the afternoon. The clear river water will relax you! For more travel needs in Mexico, please consult me. [Note] It is very hot in Chichen Itza. There is basically no shade. Tourists should pay attention to sun protection and prepare sunglasses and umbrellas. Please bring your own swimsuit and swimming equipment for snorkeling. Changing rooms are provided.
Chichen Itza in Mexico is an ancient Mayan city site located in the central and eastern part of Yucatan, Mexico. It is 3 kilometers long from north to south and 2 kilometers wide from east to west. "Chichen" means "wellhead". The 29-meter-high pyramid, the largest ancient ball court preserved in Mexico, the Temple of Men, the Hall of Thousand Columns... constitute the ancient Mayan culture and Toltec culture sites.

Great little visit. It's actually right next to Chichen Itza so there's a lot to see. Would recommend going early to avoid the crowds and heat. Bring cash if you want to buy souvenirs
The Temple of Warriors is the largest temple in the ancient city of Chichen Itza. It was the place where soldiers were recruited and competed in the ancient Mayan period. There is a very large square at the entrance of the temple. It is very wide and is definitely the most magnificent building in the ancient city. It is worth visiting.

The Plaza of the Thousand Columns is a large Mayan site in Chichen Itza. Although the number of columns is a bit exaggerated, there are more than 100 stone columns. It used to be a sacrificial site and is very mysterious. The columns are arranged very closely, giving people a sense of density and a solemn and oppressive feeling.
The Thousand Columns Square in Chichen Itza is very spectacular. On a platform, there are nearly a hundred stone pillars standing straight and upright like a row of soldiers in neat rows. It is very imposing. It should have been a place for sacrificial ceremonies in ancient times and it looks very solemn and sacred.
