The site to is massive but really touristy and busy . Unfortunately we booked the tickets through TRIP.COM and had a few extras like guided tour and return bus from one of the sites. Although we had everything in writing the local staff did not delivered and tried to overcharge us for this services so we ended up not doing all that was included on our tour. This is very unfortunate. Beware of tourist traps although the site is very interesting.
A breathtaking historical journey! The Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses is worth visiting again and again! Finally, I checked out the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses, a place I'd been longing to visit. I was completely awestruck by the wisdom and grandeur of the ancients. It's definitely a top-tier attraction you must see in Xi'an! Upon entering the site, I was overwhelmed by its sheer scale. Thousands of terracotta warriors in Pit 1 are neatly arranged, each with a unique expression and lifelike detail. From the patterns on their armor to their facial expressions, everything is meticulously detailed. The profound sense of history, spanning thousands of years, is palpable, making you hold your breath in awe. My favorite was the bronze chariot and horse exhibition area. The title "Crown of Bronze" is truly well-deserved. The complex craftsmanship and exquisite decorations perfectly showcase the advanced metallurgical technology of the Qin Dynasty. Seeing it up close was truly awe-inspiring. The facilities at the site are excellent. The audio guides provide detailed explanations, and each exhibition area is clearly marked, making the visit both organized and fulfilling. You can also see artifact restoration demonstrations on-site. Watching experts meticulously restore these historical treasures added to my sense of awe. The staff were friendly and patiently answered all my questions. Overall, a fantastic experience! Whether you're bringing children to experience history and culture or simply appreciating cultural relics and art, this place offers an exceptional experience. Highly recommended for everyone visiting Xi'an; it's an unforgettable cultural immersion, well worth revisiting!

The Xi'an City Wall is perfect for cycling in the early morning! Rent a bicycle and leisurely ride along the cobblestone path. Sunlight filters through the crenellations of the wall, casting dappled shadows on your body. Passing Yongning Gate, you'll see elderly people doing their morning exercises and tourists taking photos. The moat below the wall ripples, and the distant high-rises and ancient city walls create a picturesque scene, a truly healing blend of the ancient and the modern. When you get tired, head straight to the Bell and Drum Towers. The red walls and green tiles of the buildings gleam brightly in the sunlight, and the deep, resonant sound of the bells transports you back to the Tang Dynasty.
I started from Yongchang Gate onto the city wall, passed Yongning Gate, and intended to descend through Zhuque Gate, but I didn't see the exit until I reached Wumu Gate. I hope the signs are clearer. The city wall must offer different experiences during the day and at night, but unfortunately, it can only be viewed from a distance at night.

Mount Hua is so beautiful! I climbed the West Peak and South Peak and experienced the "Eagle Turns Over" (a scenic route). By the time I came down, it was already past 6 pm. I waited in line for the cable car for an hour and finally got to the visitor center at 7:30 pm! Going up from the west and down from the north is relatively less strenuous on the legs, but my thighs were still so sore that I couldn't go up or down the stairs for two days!
My family all urged me to go to Mount Hua; it's absolutely stunning! We chose a route going north and down west, which was a bit challenging, but the scenery was definitely worth it. I truly experienced the wonders of nature. Taking the cable car afterwards made it all worthwhile; the views from the cable car were even more spectacular. The only downside was that climbing the mountain really took a toll on my legs; I couldn't get up the next day.

The performance of "The Song of Everlasting Regret" was incredibly moving! "Heaven and earth may pass away, but this regret will last forever," the core of the poem lies in the word "regret." This "regret" is Emperor Xuanzong's endless remorse after losing his beloved; it is the constant longing he felt day and night for his beloved, as expressed in the lines "The Shu River is blue, the Shu Mountains are green, the Emperor's love is constant, morning and night"; it is Yang Guifei's unwillingness to accept her tragic death; it is the regret of "Years have passed since our separation by death, her soul has never come to me in dreams"; it is also history's silent condemnation of the abuse of power, and the world's sorrow at the destruction of beautiful love by reality.
I had high expectations for "The Song of Everlasting Regret." Before entering, there was a parade of floats and song and dance performances in the square, which created a great atmosphere. The first and second acts of the performance were quite impressive, especially the scene with the stars shining all over the mountain, which was a brilliant idea. However, the subsequent acts were a bit monotonous and lacked depth. They were beautiful, but they lacked a truly moving and impactful quality.

Overall must visit, can get congested. Very beautiful and with the history of the clay and pottery in every day life you get to learn more. Great viewpoint followed by very lively markets. The only thing we didn’t get to go round the lower level because it was 17:45 and despite there was plenty of time it was closed(hence the 2 4s) at least we were allowed to take a picture of the bell.
During my trip, I bought a combined ticket for the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, which was very convenient, as the two attractions are not far apart. The security guards and service staff were very patient and answered all my questions. The attractions were excellent, each with its own unique features, and overall, I was left with a deep impression of Xi'an.

The night view of Tang Paradise is very beautiful. I personally feel that it is best to buy tickets to enter before 6 pm, so that you can see Tang Paradise during the day and then see Tang Paradise at night, which will give you a comparison.
It's definitely a must-visit tourist destination in Xi'an. It's worth visiting if you want to learn about history, but if you're looking for a park experience, there's not much to see, and it's not very cost-effective.

The Shaanxi History Museum, located northwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an, is a national comprehensive history museum with a collection of over 370,000 artifacts, systematically showcasing Shaanxi's glorious civilization from prehistoric times to modern times.
The Shaanxi History Museum in Xi'an is like a living history book. Spanning over 70,000 square meters, its Tang Dynasty-style architecture exudes a majestic grandeur. Upon entering, I was captivated by the bronze Fei Lian statue overhead. Warm yellow light shone on the slate-gray brick walls, casting a gentle veil over history. The glass cabinets in the exhibition hall resemble time capsules, housing over 370,000 artifacts. When the instructor explained that 18 national treasures were hidden here, my eyes were immediately drawn to the rusted bronze artifacts. A large tripod with Taotie patterns from the Shang and Zhou dynasties stood quietly, as if guarding a secret from thousands of years ago. The ancient human exhibits astonished me most. Clinging to the glass, I strained to identify the skull fossil of the Lantian Man—this Shaanxi native, 1.15 million years ago, could actually scrape animal skins with stone flakes! A nearby interactive model demonstrated how to make fire by drilling wood together, and the dancing flames reflected on the delighted faces of the children.

This family-friendly hotel is such a great value! The room is incredibly thoughtfully decorated with children's toiletries, safety strips, and a small tent. My child was so excited and ran around non-stop as soon as we entered the room! The hotel has a full range of family-friendly facilities, including a children's playground with slides and everything else you could need. The receptionist, Nian Nian, is incredibly patient with kids and provides excellent service, even proactively helping to soothe the child. The afternoon tea is also delicious, and the location is convenient, with shopping malls and parks within walking distance. It's very close to Yongxingfang, making it excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next family trip and have already recommended it to other moms!
There were no signs along the way, so I took a lot of wrong turns. There were very few seats inside the museum to watch the shows, and there weren't many tourists. The places to visit were just average, but the scenes were indeed very Tang Dynasty-style, and I could take some great photos. Overall, the value for money was so-so. If you have enough time, you can still go and have a look!

The Tang Dynasty Never Sleeping City is not only a tourist attraction but also a carrier of cultural heritage. It regularly hosts cultural activities such as Tang poetry recitals and traditional musical instrument performances, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the literary and artistic achievements of the Tang Dynasty while enjoying their visit.
The Tang Dynasty Never Sleeping City is truly vast, especially beautiful at night. With all the lights on, it feels like stepping back into the Tang Dynasty. Both sides are lined with antique-style buildings, and the streets are filled with young women dressed in period costumes—perfect for taking photos. There are also many delicious foods to enjoy.

This scenic area is steeped in history and stories. It includes the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, but climbing the pagoda requires an additional fee. It offers great value for money and is a top choice for tourists visiting Xi'an. However, the scenic area only has one entrance and exit, which is not very convenient, and the traffic around the scenic area is somewhat chaotic.
I went to the famous Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is located at the end of the Tang Dynasty City That Never Sleeps. It is not large in scale, but has a long-standing reputation. It was drizzling and there were not many people. I wandered around alone and felt the Buddhist culture of the Tang Dynasty.
