It's a very nice dessert shop, the owner is a Chinese. The coconut juice and durian desserts are their specialty and the price is not expensive. I think the pure coconut juice is very delicious, better than the packaged drinks in China.

I have heard that afternoon tea here is very famous, so I came to experience the restaurant that ranks among the most beautiful restaurants on the Internet. So I made a reservation for the outdoor seats during the Chinese New Year (15:00-17:00) a month in advance. Yes, it is only 2 hours. British afternoon tea. There are 5 round tables in the outdoor seats. While enjoying exquisite snacks and chatting with family and friends, you can see the beautiful coast of Son Tra Peninsula. The price is the same for outdoor and indoor. The price for adults is 1.59 million VND, and the price for children is about 590,000. Although it feels expensive, it is still worth it.
A very nice Vietnamese coffee shop surrounded by the sea on three sides. The grilled chicken wings are delicious. Vietnamese skewers have a bit of spice. You will get used to it after eating them many times. It is more affordable to have afternoon tea here.

This is a popular pancake restaurant hidden in the alley, Bà Dưỡng. Starting from a small street shop, Ba Duong has become a household name for pancakes in Da Nang for more than 31 years.
The skin of the pancake is made of rice paste, and the delicious rice produced in Quang Nam is specially selected. The ingredients are of high quality. It is then mixed with turmeric powder to make the pancake skin a beautiful golden color, and it is grilled with charcoal fire. The fragrant and crispy pancake is perfectly served on the plate. With the store's special soybean sauce, it is really hard to stop eating.
At the end of a small alley, it feels like a Vietnamese kebab place. The kebabs are very good, sold in batches. The only difference is that the skewers are very thick, unlike those in China. I ordered an omelet for the main course, which was a bit greasy.

There was a male waiter with a very bad attitude. The dishes tasted OK, but the price was not OK. The environment was so-so. Five people spent more than 200 RMB. There was a fried tofu that tasted good. We ordered two servings.
We chartered a car to Hoi An in the afternoon. We just had lunch at a coffee shop in Da Nang. We wanted to go to Hoi An to find delicious baguettes, but the old people couldn't walk anymore. We had dinner before the lights were on. The second floor was originally open until 6 o'clock, but we were able to go up at 5 o'clock. We ordered PAD, white roses, and fried wontons. They were not very delicious, but they were Hoi An specialties. The baguettes were average, and the curry shrimps were served with white rice. There were 5 people in the group, and the baguettes were cut into 5 pieces by the waiter. The basic requirements were met. Vietnam used to be a budget travel destination during my student days. I have come back after ten years and my mentality is very different. I used to make detailed travel guides several months in advance, and I would feel very accomplished after completing the attractions and experiences in the guide. Now I prefer to relax and vacation. I will be more inclined to spend time choosing a hotel, sleep until I wake up naturally, and then decide what to do and eat based on the weather and mood of the day.
Da Nang is a place that is particularly suitable for a flat-bed vacation. The hotels are beautiful and cheap, Vietnamese food is suitable for Chinese stomachs, and transportation is convenient. Although the sea water is not amazing enough, there is a long coastline and soft sand. Sitting in a cafe by My Khe Beach and looking at the sea in a daze, I instantly enter the vacation mode🏖
Recommend two great seaside restaurants:
🍹Esco Beach Bar Lounge & Restaurant (P2)
A sea view restaurant by My Khe Beach, it mainly provides Western simple meals and has an infinity pool facing the sea, which is very photogenic. It is very pleasant to drink coffee in the sea breeze.
🍹East West Brewing Co. Da Nang (P3)
It is also on My Khe Beach, with open-air beach seats and a great view. It offers Western and Vietnamese food, and recommends seafood platter, where you can taste a little bit of fish, shrimp and shellfish. It is recommended to order a fresh coconut, which can be used as a prop for taking photos in addition to cooling off.
Before the trip, I was overwhelmed by the choice of hotels, and finally decided to change 3 different hotels for a 5-day trip:
🏨Estrella Boutique Hotel (P5)
The transition hotel for the first night, the swimming pool + breakfast is basically the standard of Vietnamese hotels. 200+ small and beautiful, the room is large and very comfortable to sleep, and there is an infinity pool on the rooftop. It is not in the first row of the beach, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to My Khe Beach. There is a popular restaurant Bếp Cuốn Đà Nẵng not far away on the opposite side.
🏨New World Hoiana Hotel (P6, P7)
The newly developed New World Hoiana Resort, there are several hotels of different price ranges in the resort, sharing a private beach, and a golf course. The hotel is located in a remote area, but there are shuttle buses to and from Da Nang Airport, Da Nang City, and Hoi An Ancient Town. If you are on time, you can save a lot of transportation costs. The breakfast is very rich, and the freshly cooked Pho is delicious.
🛩Transportation: There are "Hong Kong Express" and "VietJet Air" flights from Hong Kong to Da Nang. You can wait for the promotional tickets of these two low-cost airlines. It is very convenient to take a taxi with Grab in Da Nang City.
🪧Visa: Vietnam is a separate paper visa. You can apply for a visa in advance, or you can apply for a visa on arrival at the airport after applying for a permit. The visa paper must be kept well. In addition to entry, it will also be checked when leaving the country. It is very troublesome if it is lost.
