Starting from Shangri-La, take National Highway 214 to Deqin. Set the navigation to "Pillow Basalt Landform." As you approach the Baima Snow Mountain Tunnel, you'll fork right behind it and join the old National Highway 214 (now Provincial Highway 236). This road will take you to the Baima Snow Mountain Pass.
- Baima Snow Mountain Pass: At 4,292 meters above sea level, it's the highest point on the Yunnan highway. It features Tibetan-style landmarks and prayer flags, offering stunning views of the snow-capped mountains.
- Double U-Shaped Valley: On the old National Highway 214, sit beneath a sacred tree, listen to the hum of prayer flags, and admire the snowy scenery.
