Very good, with Chinese and English guides. Recommend night tour, less people and super experience 👍 After the tour, I also checked in at the nearby Ming City Wall. But later I went to Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River, the experience was much worse, there were too many people, too noisy, too many loud speakers to attract customers.
It looked OK at night, but I felt that the ticket price was a bit expensive, the drinks inside were too expensive, and the cultural and creative ice cream was 20 yuan... It was totally not worth it! There is a rest area inside that I think is very good, and the lighting atmosphere is also good enough. It is best to bring your own drinks and snacks. The key is that there is no cost-effectiveness. Some of the items inside are replicas, so just take a look.

Qixia Mountain is known as the "Six Dynasties Scenic Spot". Five kings and fourteen emperors have climbed Qixia Mountain in history. It was listed as one of the "Forty-eight Scenes of Jinling" in the Ming Dynasty and has the reputation of "One Qixia Mountain, Half of the History of Jinling". Qixia Mountain is rich in natural plant resources, with a vegetation coverage rate of nearly 95%. It is known as the "First Bright and Beautiful Mountain in Jinling". Qixia Mountain has China's AAAA-level tourist attraction - Qixia Mountain Scenic Area and China's national forest park - Nanjing Qixia Mountain National Forest Park. It has more than 80 historical sites, including the "Qixia Temple", an ancient temple of the Southern Dynasties, one of the "Four Great Forests" of Chinese Buddhism, and 15 geological relics. It is a mountain that brings together religious culture, imperial culture, green culture, folk culture, geological culture, stone carving culture, and tea culture.
The beauty of Qixia Mountain lies in the fiery maple leaves in autumn, the quiet vicissitudes of ancient temples and grottoes, and the wonderful symbiosis of wild nature and cultural essence. It is not a steep mountain, but with an annual color feast, it makes the golden land of the Six Dynasties glow with the most magnificent vitality. If you visit Jinling in autumn and miss Qixia Mountain, you will miss the poetic beauty of half of the city.

It’s a beautiful temple by the mountain. There’s a Starbucks at the entrance of Niushoushan Tourist Center if you did not managed to grab breakfast beforehand. It is recommended to purchase the sightseeing bus ticket inside the area for RMB10/per person per way to reach the peak to reach Usnisa Temple. The area is vast and will take a while to hike up if you’re not super outdoorsy or adventurous. There’s also a few nice vegetarian food options within the temple. Overall, we were in awed of this place and it’s a great mix of old and new archicture marvel. Worth a visit if you have time :)
The Niu Shou Mountain Cultural Tourism Area is well worth a visit. The entire building is magnificent and every aspect is exquisitely crafted. It is magnificent and even has the Buddha's relic. It is highly recommended.

Upon arriving at Xuanwu Lake, I was captivated by the scenery. The water shimmered in the sunlight, like a giant blue gem. The weeping willows by the lake swayed in the breeze, their soft branches gently brushing the water, creating ripples. Several pleasure boats slowly glided across the lake, their passengers laughing and enjoying a leisurely time. Wandering along the lakeside path, I came across a variety of flowers. Some were in bud, like shy little girls, while others were already in full bloom, beaming with smiles and emitting a delicate fragrance, attracting bees and butterflies to flit among the blossoms. What I remember most was the lotus pond at Xuanwu Lake. Many of the lotus flowers had already bloomed, some with their petals fully unfolded, revealing tender yellow pods; others were still buds, seemingly swollen and about to burst. The lotus leaves were packed together, like large, emerald green discs, their water droplets rolling and glittering. The beauty of Xuanwu Lake is so innumerable that I can't help but linger. This trip made me feel the beauty of nature and made me love our city even more.
Who in my family understands! Xuanwu Lake was such a pleasant surprise when I visited Nanjing! As soon as I arrived, I was captivated by the vast expanse of the lake. The clear, shimmering waters reflected the Purple Mountain and the Ming Dynasty City Wall in the distance, creating a picturesque scene. Strolling along the lakeside, the gentle breeze was incredibly relaxing. There are also five unique islands here: the cherry blossoms on Yingzhou Island and the bonsai garden on Liangzhou Island. I was completely captivated by the sights. I even took a boat tour, enjoying the surrounding scenery from the lake. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Best of all, it's free to enter, making it perfect for budget travelers. It's also conveniently located right outside Nanjing Station. If you're visiting Nanjing, promise me, don't miss it!
