🚗Itinerary:
1. We arrived in Beihai on the morning of the 24th and spent three days there. We left for Nanning on the afternoon of the 27th, where we spent two days exploring and eating. We left on the afternoon of the 29th. 🚄
2. Since we were traveling as a family, our itinerary wasn't overly demanding! It was a leisurely trip, but we did have everything we needed to eat and do! 😄
🗓Itinerary:
1️⃣ August 24th: Arrived in Beihai in the morning, checked into a hotel near Qiaogang Beach, spent an hour there, and had seafood fried noodles at Xiao Shi Guang (Qiaogang Branch) for lunch (delicious). Afternoon, we rested at the hotel. For dinner, we strolled around Qiaogang Street. We enjoyed a bowl of delicious crab noodles with a broth at Zhou Ji Crab Noodles 😍 paired with a glass of Coconut Daji (Qiaogang Branch). It was excellent! After dinner, we took a walk along Qiaogang Street to digest our food. We wandered around and finally stopped by Old House Dessert Shop (Qiaogang Street Branch) for a bowl of mung bean and kelp soup and cassava soup. It was so refreshing and cool, it was perfect for cooling off. 🤩
2️⃣August 25th: It rained all day in Beihai, so we slept until around 10:00 PM. Then we headed to Qiaogang Market to buy some seafood (mainly blue dragon, shrimp, fish, and abalone). We then had a big meal at a nearby processing shop. After a nap, we headed back to Beihai Silver Beach Scenic Area around 3:00 PM, taking advantage of the rain. That evening, we headed to Beihai Old Street and had some seafood noodles at Xianfenzhijia (Zhongshan Road Branch). They were also delicious, with a delicious broth and fresh seafood. 🤓
3️⃣August 26th: The weather was much better that day, so we decided to go fishing! We woke up around 8:00 AM and set off for the Mangrove Fishing Base! We randomly found a sea-hunting base on Douyin. After arriving, we can rent sea-hunting tools from them (PS: we later learned that you may be able to use sea-hunting tools for free at the hotel you stay in); then we will go to the mangroves. It is recommended to rent a motorcycle here, otherwise it is really far and it will take a long time to walk. The motorcycle costs 60 for a round trip and can carry two people🏍️. After that, we can dig by ourselves. Generally, we dig snails and rarely crabs🥲For lunch, we had Yuexiang Kitchen (Qiaogang Branch). As the sun was setting, we went to Guantouling, but unfortunately we didn’t catch the sunset. For dinner, we went to Qiaogang Style Street and had an ice room.
4️⃣August 27th: In the morning, we went to another Guiyang market and bought some local specialties and fruit. We had a quick lunch and then took the train 🚅 to Nanning. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon. That night, we visited the night markets, including Nongyuan Road Night Market and Tangxi Night Market. We tried Guizhou Ice Cream, Datang Rolled Noodles, and Perilla Duck Legs. Afterward, we went to Fat Uncle BBQ (Guangxi specialty fake loquat barbecue) near Chaoyang Square. After a full meal, we returned to the hotel to rest. 🏨
5️⃣August 28th: I slept until around 10:00 AM. For lunch, I rode my bike to Yingshun Laoyou (it was delicious! The Laoyou noodles were flavorful!). Afterward, I took a taxi to Qingxiu Mountain. We played there until around 4:00 AM and then took a taxi to Jurassic Stir-fried Raw Ingredients. The sauce was super delicious! Of course, I also ordered milk tea! I tried Cui Cha Shi and Yongcheng Tea House! They were both great!
6️⃣ August 29th: This was our last day! After packing up and checking out in the morning, I took the subway to Ganjiajie Lemon Duck (Zoo Branch). I found the dish to be just average. The lemon duck was a bit bitter and undercooked, making it difficult to chew. 😅 It's a specialty dish, so I had to try it once! I also ordered a taro tartare! The taro paste was very smooth and delicious. 🧋 #TheseDomesticIslandsSuperAmazing #GuangxiTravelStrategy
