The crisp autumn weather makes it a perfect spot for viewing the crimson leaves and a relaxing hike. Even without a bus, the paths are easy to navigate, making it suitable for both the elderly and children. The Manye Pagoda offers the best vantage point for viewing the crimson leaves, and the photos taken from the tower are truly stunning.
I loved the whole area, I found even the drive towards the area interesting as you pass through smaller villages with painted buildings of flowers and mountains and little markets. Especially important if you are getting a taxi put in the Red Leaves Valley Ticket Office not the North Gate Ground Parking Lot, it’s a 49 minute walk up from there or a local took me up for 30¥. I went just after Mid Autumn Festival, lots of families and people enjoying the colour changing and the waterfalls were coming out of everywhere even onto the path! Wear non slip shoes some areas are quite wet. Very peaceful and enjoyable. Bonus there are buggy’s that take passengers from different points around the park so if you aren’t feeling very athletic they are an option.

Great. The environment was nice and fun, everyone was happy, it was really beautiful, the service was excellent, the craft area was fantastic, and the mountain scenery was beautiful.
Okay, here's a 150-word review of the autumn handicraft experience at Jiurushan: Autumn at Jiurushan offers more than just a visual feast of vibrant red maple leaves; it also provides a unique and immersive experience of craftsmanship amidst the mountains. In a warm wooden cabin, you can handcraft a piece of wood, imprint fallen leaves into timeless bookmarks, or create a unique sachet using dried mountain flowers. Outside the window, the autumn colors stretch endlessly, while in your hands, you hold the warmth slowly brewed by time. This one-of-a-kind handicraft experience transcends mere photographs, becoming a tangible and lasting memory, providing the most healing ending to your autumn journey.

As one of the Four Great Ancient Temples, the ancient Buddha statues and clay sculptures of Arhats in the main hall alone are worth the price of admission. The surroundings are also beautiful, with the ginkgo trees gradually turning yellow after the frost, and the hills behind are worth a stroll. The scenic area also features interactive cultural and creative activities featuring ancient costumes, which is quite interesting.
Lingyan Temple, nestled in the valley, is worthy of being ranked second in the country. It's also a popular check-in spot for the film "Black Myth: Monkey King." The Thousand Buddha Hall houses colorful sculptures of arhats from the Song Dynasty, the base of the Pizhi Pagoda features a relief carving depicting the story of Ashoka's conversion to Buddhism during the Maurya Dynasty in ancient India, the half-closed false doors on the east and west sides of the Huichong Pagoda show figures stepping out as if to open them, and the Tomb Pagoda Forest houses 167 tombs... There's a lot to see, but public transportation is inconvenient.

We watched a martial arts performance first, and the interactive segment was quite interesting. The ginkgo trees were a beautiful golden yellow in autumn. There's a Yi Jin Jing (Muscle/Tendon Changing Classic) stone carving outside the hall behind the Lixue Pavilion. The vegetarian restaurant at Huanxidi is indeed a bit pricey; a single set meal is 36 yuan, including two side dishes, a soup, and rice. Our group of six ordered five set meals, and after finishing them, the taste was acceptable. We bought some ointment from the Shaolin Pharmacy; I don't know how effective it is yet. The cable car ride from the top to the bottom of Haohanpo (Hero's Slope) is moderate, taking about two and a half hours. The shuttle bus from Haohanpo closes at 6 pm, and it's quite far to the Sanhuangzhai parking lot, so I recommend taking the park shuttle. A taxi from the Sanhuangzhai parking lot to the Shaolin Temple parking lot costs 22 yuan, and there are unlicensed taxis outside asking for 20 yuan per person; I suggest taking Didi (a ride-hailing app).
No spontaneous trip, just repeated plans. You watched the Shaolin martial arts performance, and I admired the thousand-year-old ginkgo trees. It felt so good to receive support. Arrived early at 10 am, no mountain climbing, no cable car, just a slow, leisurely stroll, stopping and going, eating and taking photos along the way. The 1500-year-old ginkgo trees could be photographed for over an hour. The red leaves at the summit are for those with stronger stamina to show off their skills! Cute Jing was also very helpful, today you're the leaf-scattering prop master! [relaxed][relaxed] Unexpectedly high-energy sand play next to the Pagoda Forest, exceeding KPI! [666][666] The only downside: Commercialization and rip-offs abound →→ 100 yuan for a photo with the little monk? Or is it just a phone photo? [weak][weak] A bowl of noodles at a snack shop costs 25 yuan, a blatant rip-off? No hot water if you don't buy food? [weak][weak]

The scenic area is very clean, the toilets have toilet paper, the service staff are very enthusiastic, there are not too many tourists, the scenery is very good, people with poor legs and feet can also go, there are buses, cable cars, slides, and not many steps to climb
The weather wasn't kind. After traveling over a thousand kilometers, I encountered a rainy day. The dense fog limited the view, which was quite a disappointment, but it also had a unique charm. The thick fog made the mountain scenery even more ethereal and mysterious. With so few tourists, it felt like exploring a fairyland. Besides the autumnal mountain scenery, the ancient architecture was also a highlight. The caisson murals on the eaves of the Yangtai Palace are unique in Henan Province. Even the Nantianmen and Ying'en Palace are worth seeing as ancient architectural masterpieces. Although it was the National Day holiday, there were no waiting times for the sightseeing buses and cable cars, and the other painless mountain climbing facilities were also sparsely populated. The experience was excellent.

This ancient city is worth a visit. It is the hometown of Tai Chi and has a history of more than 2,000 years. These attractions are all worth seeing. The combined ticket is very cost-effective and highly recommended!
The planning is so good now. I haven't been there in years, and I was completely blown away! The facilities are much better, the activities are more interesting, and the environment is very clean. There are also many unique restaurants and places that young people like. It's quite good.

The Taihang Grand Canyon truly lives up to its reputation as a model of northern landscapes, seamlessly blending grandeur and elegance. Upon entering the scenic area, one is immediately awestruck by the imposing presence of its thousand-meter-high cliffs. The Zhangshiyan landform unfolds like a natural screen, its sheer rock walls bearing witness to millions of years of geological changes. The most stunning aspect is the diversity of scenery that changes with every step: Peach Blossom Valley features a babbling brook that meanders through the red cliffs, creating a verdant gallery; Wangxiangyan's steep steps climb the cliff face, offering both thrilling adventure and breathtaking panoramic views; the Taihang Sky Road winds like a dragon, with each turn revealing a new viewing platform. When shrouded in mist, the mountains appear and disappear, resembling a long ink painting. Autumn is the recommended season to visit, when the canyon is ablaze with color. The scenic area boasts excellent facilities and a well-designed loop route, but some sections are quite steep, so be sure to bring appropriate hiking gear. Here, the power of nature and human ingenuity blend perfectly, and a day trip can allow you to appreciate the essence of Taihang Mountain, making it an excellent choice for a short mountain and water tour.
The Taihang Grand Canyon Scenic Area comprises three sections: Peach Blossom Valley, Wangxiangyan, and Taihang Sky Road. Peach Blossom Valley is particularly outstanding, with its stunning canyon scenery comprised of streams, waterfalls, and boardwalks. Taihang Sky Road offers a scenic drive via shuttle bus, but the views from the several viewing platforms are only average. Wangxiangyan has no shuttle bus service; the entire route is on foot, clockwise. The first and second halves are unremarkable, with only the middle section, Wangxiang Waterfall, truly worth seeing! The Sky Ladder is definitely worth climbing!

Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area in Jiaozuo, Henan Province, boasts beautiful scenery and three main attractions. We spent a day and a half visiting Hongshixia, Xiaozhaigou, and Zhuyu Peak. To save time and energy when visiting Zhuyu Peak, we chose to take the Zhuyu Peak cable car up the mountain, then walked 2.8 kilometers to the Phoenix Peak Glass Skywalk, took the Phoenix Ridge cable car down the mountain, and stayed at the service area on the shore.
The three-day validity of the Yuntai Mountain ticket is definitely worthwhile. The mountains and waters here are beautiful, and staying at the service area makes it convenient to take the scenic shuttle bus, perfect for a leisurely visit. There are also many restaurants in the service area along the shore for convenience.

Baoquan Tourist Area was arguably the best scenic spot I experienced during my trip to Henan. It boasts beautiful scenery as well as thrilling and fun activities. The facilities within the scenic area are also quite complete, and the restrooms were surprisingly clean.
The scenic area is fantastic, with shuttle bus service and various activities to participate in, such as via ferrata and bungee jumping, which are charged separately but reasonably. You could easily spend a whole day there, but you should allow plenty of time. We arrived around 1 PM and didn't have enough time to enjoy the activities; it was just too cold at night.

The hotel service was first-class, especially the front desk staff. Ms. Wang and Ms. Zhang, who greeted us, were friendly, welcoming, and professional, leaving a lasting impression. Secondly, the hotel boasts a beautiful environment and convenient transportation. The rooms were clean and tidy, with separate wet and dry areas, and the mattresses were soft and comfortable. After a hike, we had a wonderful night's sleep. It's an ideal choice for business trips and leisure travel.
Mount Tai is rich in culture, majestic and magnificent, and steeped in history. Climbing Mount Tai is a thrilling and exhilarating experience. Standing atop Mount Tai, one feels ambitious and has a global perspective, taking in the magnificent landscape of the motherland.
