I went on August 13th and waited in line for the cable car for an hour and a half. It was unbearable 😣... I bought my ticket on Ctrip. Remember, I must go to the cable car ticket window to get my paper ticket before lining up!!! On a sunny day, the cable car offers a stunning view of Erhai Lake in Dali. There's a very high section, so those afraid of heights should keep their eyes closed. The one-way trip takes about 15 minutes.
Cangshan Mountain in Dali is so beautiful! The Gantong Cableway is great value for money. Along the way, you can see the Cangshan pine forest and overlook Erhai Lake. It's spectacular! The squirrels on Cangshan Mountain are so fat and love to eat potato chips 😁

[August Xizhou Ancient Town: In the rice fields and Bai customs, meet the romance of summer] August Xizhou Ancient Town is a treasure land filled with greenery and fireworks! Less than half an hour's drive from the ancient city of Dali, just got off the bus and was surprised by the endless rice fields at the entrance of the village. The green rice waves undulating with the wind, and some egrets passed by. The blue sky and white clouds lined the white tiles and white walls of the Bai people's houses. No wonder everyone runs here with their cameras. Time in the ancient town is very slow. The stone road is winding and twisting, and there are intact Bai old houses on both sides. The darts and the carved doors and windows are all exquisite. Walking in is like breaking into the time museum. The key point is to praise the Yanjia Courtyard, not only to see the exquisiteness of Bai architecture, but also to understand the history of Xizhou business gangs. The pomegranate trees in the yard are full of fruits, especially the atmosphere of life. In August, just in time for the local fruit peak season! The roadside stalls are full of yellow figs, sweet grapes, and freshly picked blueberries, affordable and fresh. Of course, Xizhou is indispensable. It is recommended to bake sweet mouths (rose filling) and salted mouths (pork end), the outer skin is crispy and the inner is soft, with a cup of milk fan Shaqima, and the carbide is happy to be directly full. I found a small shop by the river and sat down to eat, watched the flowing water, listened to the locals chatting in dialect. It's so pleasant. In the afternoon, you can rent a bicycle to ride along the rice fields, blow the wind through the fields, pass the villagers' vegetable fields and ponds, and feel the most simple pastoral scenery. In the evening, the light on the edge of the rice field became soft, taking pictures with filters, and many newcomers took wedding photos here, which was very romantic. The only thing to note is that it is a bit sun-dried in the afternoon of August, remember to do a good job of sun protection; there are a little more tourists on the main street of the ancient town, but you can find a cleanliness when you turn into the alley, suitable for slowly shaking. Overall, Xizhou does not have the hustle and bustle of Dali Ancient City, but has more idyllic and humanistic heritage. Come here in August, like putting the beauty of the whole summer in your hands, recommend it to friends who want to slow down and feel Dali ~
Well, the entire Dali Erhai Lake circle is about 80 kilometers long, and you will pass through many ancient towns in the middle, such as Xizhou Ancient Town. At the same time, there will be a lot of people renting cars, and you can also see many luxury cars. But you should pay attention to whether you choose to tour clockwise or counterclockwise. Sometimes, there will be more traffic jams in one direction.

I'd played it in Singapore before, and when I saw it was also available in Dali, I decided to add it to my itinerary. It didn't disappoint; I had three rides and was completely blown away, especially my son. Compared to Singapore, the slides are longer and the scenery is even more beautiful. I highly recommend it. To avoid peak traffic, we went around 5:00 PM. While the sun was still strong, there weren't many lines. Aside from a short wait for the cable car, everything else went smoothly. After our three rides, the sun was almost setting. The scenery was stunning, and many influencers were livestreaming the experience. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip.
Honestly, it's quite fun, especially taking the kids out. However, there are lines to get your tickets, pick up the car, and even get up the mountain. The driver of the mountain shuttle bus is incredibly aggressive, though, and it's much more thrilling than taking the cable car.

You can hike, bike, or take a sightseeing bus to explore the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor in depth. The scenery is very beautiful. You can watch the sunrise at Longkan Wharf, the famous S-bend in the Haixi section, and the Caicun Wetland.
"Cangshan Mountain, a painting without ink, endures forever; Erhai Lake, a zither without strings, endures forever." Upon first sighting Erhai Lake, I was captivated by the beauty captured by this poem. In the early morning, Erhai Lake is shrouded in mist, with Cangshan Mountain looming through the haze, resembling a landscape painting in light ink. When sunlight penetrates the clouds, it shimmers on the clear water, creating a shimmering golden glow that leaves one speechless. Cycling along the lakeshore, the breeze carries a sense of freedom. The sunset over Panxi S Bay and the charming Bai ethnic customs of Xizhou Ancient Town are all captivating. However, during peak tourist season, some attractions can be crowded, impacting the experience. But the beauty of Erhai Lake more than offsets these minor flaws, making it a truly memorable experience.

The scenic spot is next to the main road, by the Erhai Lake. We drove our car and parked in the parking lot next to it. There is a beverage shop when we got off the car. The environment and scenery are beautiful, but it is a bit sunny. If you don't want to go in, you can check in from the outside without buying a ticket.
Stepping into the ideal garden of Dali is like falling into a dream. The colorful sea of flowers blooms freely, the breeze blows, the waves are flowing, and the sweet fragrance of flowers lingers on the tip of the nose. Walk along the winding path, one side is the flowing water, the other side is the rotten flowers, every step seems to walk into the oil painting. The exquisite cabin is hidden in it, and the window is a beautiful scenery. Standing at the highest point, the garden is dependent on the Bohai Sea, the sea and the sky are co-colored, the body and mind are instantly healed, and the noise of the world is thrown into the clouds.

Feeding the small animals in the Cute Pet Park was very interesting. It felt like New Zealand. It was so beautiful. The children loved it! We didn’t go to any other places except the Cute Pet Park. The tickets for the non-powered park were a bit expensive, so we didn’t go.

Come here, adjust the days to "relaxation mode" 🎞️ This time I went to Yunnan to travel and accidentally found a small treasure place, the ancient city of Lushan, which is simply the "poetry and distance" in my heart. 🚪 The ancient city was built in Minghongwu in 23 years. The chess-board-style street pattern is quite complete, and the antique Ming and Qing buildings are scattered, like a historical picture that is slowly unfolding. Walking on the bluestone road, stroked the carved doors and windows, as if crossing back to ancient times, every corner exudes the charm of the years precipitation, people can't help but immerse them. 🏯 Gongchen Building is an iconic building of the ancient city. When you climb the city building, you can see the beauty of the entire ancient city. The green mountains in the distance are rolling and rolling, and the ancient city is against each other, forming a beautiful landscape painting. The star arch building at night is like the bright pearl of the night, the lights are bright, shining, adding a few romantic colors to the ancient city. 📖 In the Nanxun Museum, I have a deep understanding of the history and culture of Nanxun, the rich cultural relics and detailed introduction in the museum, so that I have a deeper understanding of this once brilliant dynasty, and I really have a full harvest. There is also Mengyang Park, the towering ancient trees, the scattered pavilions, full of poetry, many locals in the leisurely sun, chatting, I also found a corner to sit down, feel this comfort, the whole person relaxed. 🍜 Food is also a highlight of this trip, here is simply a paradise for food! The soup head of the bait silk is delicious, and the bait silk is soft and delicious. Every mouthful is intoxicating; the master of a noodles is a must, and there is only one noodles in a bowl, but it can make people eat with relish; Green bean cakes exude fresh bean fragrance, delicate taste, slightly sweet taste just right. There are also honey dumplings, pickles, these century-old craftsmanship made of food, unique taste, people have endless aftertaste. ✨ Compared with other popular ancient cities, the ancient city of Lushan has fewer people, clean, low commercialization, and affordable prices. Here, there is no hustle and bustle of big cities, only the slow fireworks, as if time has slowed down. 📍 Practical Tips: 1. Wear: The ancient city is suitable for strolling, remember to wear comfortable shoes; here is strong ultraviolet light, you must bring a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself. 2. Best time to play: 3 - May spring blossoms, 9 - November autumn is high, these two time periods to play to avoid the rainy season, will be more comfortable. 3. Accommodation: There are many inns to choose from inside and outside the ancient city. It is recommended to choose an old house with a yard. It is quiet at night and can immersive feel the charm of the ancient city. 4. Transportation: You can choose the high-speed rail, only 22 minutes from Dali Station to Lushan Station, the fare is 22 yuan, after leaving the station, take the bus or walk 2 kilometers to the ancient city; you can also take the shuttle bus at Dali Xiaguan South Passenger Transport Station, about 1 hour by car, more shifts; If you drive by yourself, take the Hangrui Expressway from Dali to 215 National Road, which can be reached directly in about 1.5 hours, and the scenery along the way is also beautiful. If you also want to find a place to relax your soul, then come to the ancient city of Lushan, I believe you will fall in love with it! 💕 #Lushan Ancient City #Travel
Entering the ancient country of Nanzhao by mistake, encountering the fireworks of the world This trip to Weishan Ancient City really made me feel what "niche treasure land" is! It only takes more than 20 minutes to take the high-speed rail from Dali, and the ticket is only a dozen yuan, which is super convenient. After getting off the train, take a taxi for about 10 minutes to the ancient city, and start a leisurely ancient city tour. As soon as I walked into the ancient city, I was attracted by the well-preserved ancient buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasties. The chessboard-like pattern and the criss-crossing streets seemed to have traveled back to ancient times. You must check in at the Gongchen Tower in the center of the city. It is a tower in the Ming Dynasty. Climbing the tower, you can see the beautiful scenery of the entire ancient city. The morning sun shines on the quaint buildings, and the light and shadow are super beautiful. Any shot is a blockbuster. The square in front of the building is also an excellent position for shooting large scenes. Use a wide-angle upward shot, absolutely amazing! Friends who like history and culture must not miss the Nanzhao Museum, where you can get a deep understanding of Nanzhao culture. The Ming Dynasty wooden carving door in the museum is full of charm. The back door is connected to the twin towers of Dengjue Temple. If you find a good angle, you can also take interesting photos of "touching the white towers with both hands". If you are tired of shopping, go and try the local food. The rice noodles at Lao Wang Guojiang Rice Noodles are really a must-eat. They are especially chewy. The "crossing the river" way of eating is very unique. Dip the rice noodles in boiling bone soup and pair them with fresh and tender braised meat. It's super satisfying to take a bite. There is also Zhuji Yigengmian, the soup base is rich and fragrant, and the noodles are long and chewy. Although you have to queue, it's worth queuing for this delicious food! If you want to eat green bean cakes, remember to go to the mobile stalls at Nanjiekou from 9 to 11 am. The cakes made with seasonal green beans are soft and sweet, with a faint bean fragrance, which is really great. For accommodation, I recommend the Ming and Qing style inn on South Street, which costs 80-150 yuan per person, which is very cost-effective. You can also immerse yourself in the charm of the ancient city at night. This place has not been discovered by many tourists yet, and it is very suitable for a slow trip. I really recommend everyone to come!

I went to Dali Cangshan Botanical Garden, and I was really crying. As soon as I entered the park, all kinds of strange flowers and plants that were not named were in sight. The air was full of the fragrance of plants. The meaty area was absolutely amazing. The meaty areas were arranged like artworks, and you can make a film with any shot. There are also cute little animals to feed, lambs and rabbits are super relatives 🐰 When you are tired, find a shade to sit down, listen to the birdsong, and enjoy a moment of tranquility. This trip is really worth it, I highly recommend everyone to come!
The environment is impeccable, the kids had a lot of fun, and the animal feeding package was super cheap, 18 yuan for a bunch of stuff. The place is not big, but the kids played for a long time just catching loaches. The only thing to note is: people who are afraid of mice should not go there, there are a lot of mice, everywhere. The overall evaluation is not full marks because of the mice. Although my adults and children are not afraid of mice, they are still scared when they suddenly jump out.

The history, culture, natural scenery, and monkey watching are all there, so it's worth a visit. The downside is that the facilities in the scenic area are insufficient, there are few supply points, and most people only visit the Jade Emperor Pavilion because they are not clear, and do not go to the Lion Pass opposite.
Shizhongshan Grottoes are the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. There are Nanzhao Kingdom grotto statues distributed in multiple locations, including Shiziguan, Shizhong Temple and Shadengjing. You need to take the scenic area shuttle bus to Shizhong Temple and then go to the grottoes. Baoxiang Temple is where Xu Xiake has been. You need to take the shuttle bus to get off there. There are many monkeys.

A newly developed scenic spot, suitable for parent-child activities. There is a large lawn on the top of the mountain, and the buildings are also very distinctive, which is good for taking photos. There is also Luji Park on the top of the mountain, where you can take a cable car, but the price is not cheap. After you go down, you can take the cable car back for free. If the wind is strong, take the scenic sightseeing bus back to the top of the mountain.
The six-year-old and four-year-old babies like it very much. It is not as exciting as imagined, but the children have enough fun and it is worth checking in. The environment is also beautiful, and the scenery on the top of the mountain is infinitely beautiful
