Dali Ancient City is located in Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province, bordering Erhai Lake and nestled against Cangshan Mountain. Construction began in 1382, the 15th year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty. Its structure, a checkerboard-like grid of three streets and 18 alleys, features north-south city gates facing each other and east-west gates staggered. Three main streets run north-south, six alleys run east-west, and a network of secluded streets and lanes crisscrosses from west to east.
It is very suitable for being lazy, leisurely and slow-paced, with a petty-bourgeois style 😁. It is very comfortable to relax for half a month after work. In the afternoon, you can lie down in the courtyard, drink tea, and daydream. In the evening, you can buy a cup of special drinks, grab a special snack, and visit special shops. There are also many bars in the evening, listening to music and making tea around the fire. It is really comfortable.

I was just stopping by to take a break, but I was captivated and captivated! Shuanglang's beauty lies not in its stunning first impression, but in the details that become more captivating the more you savor it. After spending a night here, I even considered staying longer..." — A heartfelt comment from a seasoned traveler. ✨Don't hesitate! Pack your bags and set off now! ✈️ Trust me, from the moment you set foot on this land, you'll be enveloped by its gentleness and embark on an unforgettable, healing journey. 💫 Remember to bring a positive attitude, because every plant and tree here is waiting to meet you.
It is worth going there. The morning explanation is good. It only takes 3 minutes to get there by cruise ship, and it takes about 40 minutes to go around the inside. There is no need to waste money on the battery car.

At the southern end of Erhai Lake, the first stop on a tour of the Cangshan and Erhai Scenic Area is the park. Within the park lies a small, oval-shaped hill, known locally as "Tuanshan" for its shape, and the park is also known as "Tuanshan Park." Tuanshan is famous for having served as a deer farm for the Nanzhao royal family during the Tang Dynasty. The mountain is covered in lush green pines and boasts renowned camellias, azaleas, cherries, and osmanthus trees. The summit boasts pavilions, verdant corridors, a waterside pavilion, a zoo, a teahouse, cold drink shops, and restaurants. The beachfront offers a water park, a nursery greenhouse, and a swimming pool. Climbing the stairs to the summit, the Wanghai Tower features a plaque inscribed with the words "Jade Erhai, Silver Canghai" by the renowned Chinese artist Wu Zuoren. From the pavilion's railing, one can gaze out across the vast Erhai Lake, its azure waters dotted with fishing boats and clusters of tugboats, creating a truly spectacular sight. To the east, Fengshan Mountain rises majestically, while to the west, the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain stand tall like a screen. The ancient city of Dali, along with the pagoda of Hongsheng Temple in the south and the three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple in the north, are faintly visible. White marble carvings of red deer and goats by the seaside are eye-catching, while willows and lush green grass line the shore.
Dali Bohai Park is a good place for nature and humanities. Step into the park, the sparkling scenery of Bohai Sea has a panoramic view, the lake is clear, the breeze is blowing, it is refreshing. The lakeside is shaded by trees and flowers are in full bloom, strolling around it, as if you are in a picture scroll. There are also many leisure facilities in the park, which is a good place for tourists and local residents to relax.

A newly developed scenic spot, suitable for parent-child activities. There is a large lawn on the top of the mountain, and the buildings are also very distinctive, which is good for taking photos. There is also Luji Park on the top of the mountain, where you can take a cable car, but the price is not cheap. After you go down, you can take the cable car back for free. If the wind is strong, take the scenic sightseeing bus back to the top of the mountain.
The six-year-old and four-year-old babies like it very much. It is not as exciting as imagined, but the children have enough fun and it is worth checking in. The environment is also beautiful, and the scenery on the top of the mountain is infinitely beautiful

Here is a sense of the after-sight tour of the Xingsheng Bridge: The beauty of the building is shocking. At first sight of the Xingsheng Bridge, it was attracted by its majestic splendor. The bridge is white as snow, and the 235-meter-long bridge spans the Xiqiao River. The five-span arch structure is like a dragon flying above the lake. The four towers and two arch bridges are perfectly combined, both elegant and romantic European architecture, and also incorporate the carved flowers and totems of Bai nationality characteristics. Closer to take a closer look, the pier imitates the three towers of Chongsheng Temple, and the bridge rail is inlaid with auspicious golden-winged Dapeng bird relief, the details show the heritage of Bai civilization. The natural scenery is picturesque and strolling on the Xingsheng Bridge, as if in a natural picture. The mountains of Cangshan in the distance stand tall, and the snow on the top of the mountain shines in the sun, like a silver-clad fairy. The Bohai Sea nearby is shining, the lake is crystal clear, and the breeze blows, and the layers are rippling. The sky is blue like a gem, and the white clouds float in the air like marshmallows, and the bridge and lake are against each other, forming a beautiful picture. The humanistic atmosphere is strong and warm. The Xingsheng Bridge is not only a building, but also a part of the life of Dali people. Here you can see locals strolling, chatting, fishing, and children playing by the bridge, full of life. In winter, Siberian red-billed lizards will come here for the winter, they fly on the lake, foraging, and interacting intimately with tourists, forming a unique landscape, but also adding a vitality and vitality to the bridge. The Xingsheng Bridge is a very popular online celebrity check-in point, whether you are a professional photographer or an ordinary tourist, you can take satisfactory photos here. In the early morning or evening, soft light is spilled on the bridge, and a layer of gold gauze is covered in the bridge. At this time, the light effect is excellent. You can stand on the bridge and take personal photos or family photos with the background of Cangshan and Bohai Sea. You can also find angles under the bridge, use railings and seats to take the bridge as a vision, and shoot a large film with European style.
I always heard from friends that there is a famous bridge in Dali, but I never had the chance to see it. This time I finally had the chance to come and see it, but unfortunately I had to ride a bicycle across it. Next time I should walk across it or take some photos from the side to feel the majesty of this bridge.

The Bai-style Dali Imperial Garden has unique architecture and scenery. The Cuihua Tower, which is backed by Cangshan Mountain, is majestic, and the wooden Yinhe Bridge is even more amazing! It is adjacent to the ancient city, but there are few tourists except for a few groups taking wedding photos... The scenery is beautiful, there are few people, it's awesome!
Punch a card! Today I came to this scenic spot full of historical charm. It is a double feast for vision and soul! Punch a card at the Cuihua Building, which is more than 30 meters high. The antique architectural style makes people feel as if they have traveled back to ancient times and felt the solemnity and mystery. Then I went to Shengde Palace, the place where the Duan royal family governs. Its magnificent atmosphere and every corner are full of the heavy sense of history. It is very photogenic! The flowers, plants and trees in the garden reveal ingenuity, and the ancient trees are shady. Walking in it, it seems that you can hear the echo of history, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. What impressed me most was the wood carvings and Bai ethnic painting in the scenic area. These intangible cultural heritage works not only show the superb skills of the craftsmen, but also let us feel the infinite charm of traditional culture. Highly recommended to you who like history and culture!

The annual March Street is attended by people from all directions. People of all ethnic groups sing together, race horses, sing songs and do business. Due to the need for epidemic prevention and control, Dali's traditional March Street has been suspended for three years. Only a few sparse stalls, a few handicraft shops, tea shops and herbal medicine shops are still in operation.
A street next to the ancient city, usually not crowded, but crowded with people during the market. From morning, there are all kinds of things for sale, and it is very lively until the afternoon. You can stroll for a long time, it is quite interesting
