Tianmen Mountain truly lives up to its name as the "Soul of Wuling"! Its precipitous peaks and swirling mists create a scene of ethereal beauty. A cable car ride offers breathtaking panoramic views of the magnificent landscape, while the glass walkway provides a thrilling experience. The Tianmen Cave itself is a masterpiece of nature. Combining natural beauty with cultural wonders, this place offers a feast for both the eyes and the soul, making it a place you'll never want to leave.
The Trip.vom VIP access was all that was available to us the day we needed to attend, and the value for money in November for that service is not worth the price. It's 3 times more for very limited benefit. The location itself is well worth the visit though, it was amazing, I would recommend a midday accent to see the sunset and evening lights at the 999 steps.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is absolutely stunning! We spent two days there and still weren't enough. If your itinerary allows, I highly recommend spending two more days.
The biggest drawback of the park is its shuttle buses. Zhangjiajie itself has many stops and unclear maps. If you don't plan your trip well, tourists often have no idea where they are. The shuttle buses don't announce arrival times, and the drivers' Mandarin is often poor and their voices are soft, making it impossible to know where you are. More importantly, the drivers' service attitude is extremely poor.
Cable cars and elevators are optional; just use them if you see them. There's really no need to buy a full-length cable car ticket. See the photo for the prices of the smaller transportation tickets, haha.

It's worth a visit if you haven't been before. The view of the Yangtze River Bridge from the Yellow River Tower is breathtaking, and there's even a green train coming from the north bank of the river, which is quite interesting. East Lake is huge! I took a boat ride around it.

The Hubei Provincial Museum houses over 240,000 artifacts, including nearly 1,000 pieces of national first-class cultural relics. As of February 2023, it occupies a total land area of 85,000 square meters and a total building area of 114,000 square meters, of which 36,000 square meters are exhibition space. The museum is laid out as a south and north building, with two independent east and west exhibition halls. Among its artifacts are the Zeng Hou Yi chime bells, the Sword of Goujian, King of Yue, and the Tiger-shaped Drum Stand.
Our tour guide, Chen Yao, was very professional. She provided detailed explanations of the museum's treasures and arranged the route reasonably. With so many visitors today, she saved us a lot of time.

Take the cable car to Qixingzhai, and after a few minutes' walk, you'll reach the cliffside walkway. This walkway is embedded in the cliff face, appearing from a distance like a thin thread suspended in mid-air. Looking down from the railing, the deep valley is chilling. I walked close to the rock face, hearing my own heartbeat echoing the mountain wind. On the opposite cliff, several maple trees were a vibrant red.
First, we arrived at Yunlong Ground Fissure. Descending the steep steps, a chill immediately swept over us. The two cliffs rose sharply, almost completely blocking out the sky, with only a sliver of blue above. Water droplets seeped from the rock face, gathering into thin streams that slowly dripped down the moss. Deeper still, a waterfall suddenly appeared, cascading down from a height of a hundred meters, the water striking the bottom of the pool and splashing up countless pearls of water. Sunlight peeked through the cracks in the rocks, illuminating the mist and creating a tiny rainbow that floated in the darkness, fleeting in an instant. Visitors invariably stopped to take photos, but how could they possibly capture the full extent of nature's wondrous artistry?

The scenic area was restored in 1983. From Yueyang Tower, you can see Dongting Lake. A visit takes about two hours. Outside the south gate, there's a commercial street where you can stroll around and then walk to the Houyi Shooting Eight Demons exhibit.

Many people say that the Seventy-Two Mysterious Towers is very commercialized, and there are indeed many shops, but there are still some performances worth seeing. After all, there is no service without profit. Eating, drinking and watching performances inside is quite nice. When you travel, you should discover and appreciate beauty in order to achieve the desired effect of travel!
Compared to other scenic spots in Zhangjiajie, the price is relatively cheap. We chose the night session, which featured continuous performances and offered a strong sense of participation. It drizzled that night, but the people were still very enthusiastic, the scenery was beautiful, and the performances were quite impressive. However, two performances were only allowed outside the main gate, and those inside couldn't see them; if you wanted to, you could only see their backs, which felt rather strange.

It's definitely worth a visit. Must-sees include the Golden Roof, the Dragon Head, and the Hall of Fortune. If you have plenty of energy, you can climb up; if you're short on time, taking the cable car will save you a lot of time.

Located by the river, there's a small park downstairs with trampolines and slides for kids. Parking is free and quite convenient. The latex mattress is very comfortable, and the environment is quite nice.
Of course, a visit to the Three Gorges Dam is a must for a national monument. My self-driving trip took just over three hours, and I wasn't pressed for time. The route was pretty good, but you had to get off at each stop and go to the transfer center to get to the next one. You couldn't skip any you didn't want to see, which was a bit inconvenient. The best parking spot is P1, which is closest to the visitor center.

The story of entrusting an orphan to Baidi City has been passed down through the ages, and the Yanhuidui in Kuimen, Qutang Gorge of the Yangtze River is also well-known. With its natural scenery, cultural history, spectacular views, and wonderful exhibitions, it is one of the most worthwhile attractions in Fengjie. There is a direct bus from the high-speed rail station to the scenic area gate. After crossing the river, some scenic spots are connected to the top of the Three Gorges, which can be visited together.
The scenery was beautiful, but the weather wasn't ideal, with wind and rain. It started raining and blowing as soon as we entered the area. Since we were traveling light, we had to go back to the car to get an umbrella, tell the staff. The area is worth a visit, but the signage isn't very clear. For example, the boat ride directions are listed on the ticket, but there's no signage or explanation inside the area, which isn't very convenient for individual tourists, especially the elderly, unless they can understand the map.
