It was a lonely stroll. The pandas all hid behind the glass to enjoy the air conditioning, so I could only see them through the glass. There were also so many people that I spent most of the time walking around in circles outside and couldn't see the pandas at all. The environment was still pretty good at some point.
Families, don't miss the Giant Panda Breeding Base when you visit Chengdu! Entering the base, you're greeted by a lush greenery and fresh air, feeling like you've stepped into the pandas' natural home. The grounds are enormous, offering ample space for the pandas to roam freely. The living quarters are incredibly comfortable, reminiscent of their natural habitat. There are a surprising number of pandas here, representing all ages. Early in the morning, we spotted many pandas at work. Some feasted on bamboo, their cheeks puffing out; others strolled leisurely across the grass; and still others played playfully on the climbing frames, their chubby faces captivating everyone. The red panda enclosure is also incredibly fun, with the adorable, reddish-brown creatures darting about the trees. The base also offers excellent educational opportunities, including a museum and a science center, offering insights into pandas' habits, breeding practices, and conservation status. The staff and volunteers are incredibly welcoming and patiently answer any questions. The cultural and creative shop also has a wide selection of goods, including incredibly cute and exquisitely crafted panda merchandise. I bought tons of them as souvenirs. The only caveat is that the area is packed with tourists, so it's best to leave early and head straight for popular areas like the Moon Delivery Room as soon as it opens. This way, you'll have an easier time seeing the adorable pandas! I highly recommend it; it's totally worth the trip!

Sanxingdui is truly impressive, with such a vast area and so many artifacts unearthed! Unfortunately, it was hard to get tickets during the summer vacation, so I had to choose this product. The blind box is so small, and the price-performance ratio is not high. Plus, Sanxingdui was packed with parents and children, which was exhausting!
The Sanxingdui cultural relics exhibits are dazzling, and the historical and cultural heritage is long and profound. The cultural and creative products and interactive areas are very creative. I lingered and look forward to coming again next time. I also recommend the tour guide Momo. The basic skills of the explanation are solid and the content is rich. I benefited a lot. Her attitude is gentle and very professional!

I thought Du Fu's Thatched Cottage was small, but it turned out to be incredibly large. I couldn't find the exit in the end. 😁 The thatched cottage described in the poem "The Thatched Cottage Broken by the Autumn Wind," the stone statue of Du Fu, his friendship with Li Bai, and the charming garden are well worth a visit.
The tickets are a bit expensive, but the overall environment is good. There are not many things left by Du Fu, and most of them are newly renovated. The weather is hot and it is a bit stuffy inside, but everything else is good.

The zoo opens before 8 o'clock. You must go early to see the giant pandas. They are quite lively and the red pandas are also very cute. The tree climbing is 666. The ticket price is 24. Children's tickets are half price. It is very cost-effective and worth spending 2-3 hours to play.

A friend recommended me to go to Jinsha to learn about the history of the Shang Dynasty. I invited Mr. Yuan to explain it to us. He not only taught us about Jinsha, but also extended a lot of other knowledge to us.
The Jinsha Ruins' exhibition hall is designed so that some excavation areas lack air conditioning, while others have air conditioning in the exhibition areas. With temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, this should be indicated when purchasing tickets online so visitors can be prepared (e.g., with small fans). This suggests the site's management is somewhat shoddy. Visitors to the ruins felt like they were in a sauna, and the explanations were difficult to follow, leaving a less than pleasant experience. The museum is 30% visual and 70% lecturing. There are no official tour guides, but instead, tour guides from travel agencies lead group tours. Honestly, the explanations are quite average.

There is only one red panda. The giant pandas are all indoors. It is very hard to see them because they are crowded. It is better to go to the zoo when the weather is cooler, otherwise you will not be able to see anything.
Chengdu Panda Valley offers a tranquil and secluded environment, reminiscent of a natural wonderland, with lush vegetation and flowing streams. Watch giant pandas chewing bamboo and climbing trees up close, their adorable presence truly captivating. The free-range red panda area is even more captivating, where you might even encounter them strolling along the plank paths. The area is much less crowded than the city center, making for a more enjoyable experience. It's recommended to arrive early, as the pandas are more active. This exquisite and wildly charming panda paradise is highly recommended!

Folk art performances. Besides face-changing, several other folk performances are also worth seeing. They restore the original flavor of local opera. This is probably what folk performances used to be like. Enjoy some light refreshments, a cup of tea, and some sunflower seeds—a simple and enjoyable way to entertain yourself.
I went to Chengdu to experience Sichuan Opera. The overall feeling was average. The venue and costumes were a bit old. My favorite parts were the face-changing performances and the rubber band lighting. There was a very beautiful girl with dimples when she smiled.

The weather was perfect today, and the whole experience was truly wonderful. Meltwater from the snow-capped mountains converges into streams, forming terraced lakes and ponds in the Yellow River. The water is crystal clear, and its color varies from yellow to green, cyan to blue, depending on the sediments on the bottom and the colors of the trees and mountains.
The scenery is beautiful and the tourist facilities in the scenic area are complete, but it is not very friendly for hiking: there are no toilets on the plank roads between the scenic spots, there are no chairs for rest along the way, and there are relatively few hot water supply points at the scenic spots.

Guide Yang's explanation was wonderful, well-versed in history and the present, and full of positive energy. You can feel her love for this city from her words. I will arrange for a big-name speaker next time I come.
I really want to give a thumbs up to our tour guide, Ms. Song, for this parent-child tour! She was incredibly understanding of the needs of both parents and children. She translated historical and natural history into accessible stories for children, actively engaging with them and asking questions. Even the typically boring introductions captivated the children. She adjusted the pace when the children were tired and even provided canvas bags with colored patterns as "interactive rewards." The children loved her. The entire trip was a joy for the children, both learning and relaxing for us parents. I highly recommend this patient and understanding tour guide!
