The Arabic-style coffee shop actually does barbecue. The kebabs there taste pretty good. The barbecue fried rice is similar to the beef rice in Xinjiang and tastes pretty good too. The only vegetables are cold dishes.
Coming out of the Dubai Museum, there are many commercial places in the old city next to it. This restaurant in the old house is one of them. There were many people drinking tea and chatting in it in the afternoon. It felt quite good. I ordered some skewers, sang, etc., and some drinks. The taste was quite good.

Went here with the family... Lively place but overpriced for what it is... Kebabs were nice but nothing spectacular... I feel people have fallen for the back story - the food is mediocre at best...
