Basic Overview
Geographic Location: Located on the northwest shore of Taihu Lake, it is a peninsula surrounded by water on three sides, resembling the head of a floating turtle.
Historical Origins: Founded in 1916, Yang Hanxi, a Wuxi native, purchased land and constructed a garden. Later, it was expanded and developed into the comprehensive scenic area it is today.
