The scenic area is not big and can be visited in about 2 hours. It is convenient to take the subway and then take a bus directly to the scenic area. After the tour, you can take a taxi to Qingyan Ancient Town. You can visit the two attractions together.
The hotel enjoys an excellent location, offering convenient transportation (such as subway station exits and direct airport access), a wealth of shopping options, and easy walking distance to attractions and food courts. Warm and Attentive Service 1 The staff are friendly and professional, providing personalized services (such as free luggage pickup, breakfast, and a small gift). Check-out is efficient and convenient. Comfortable and Complete Facilities 2 The rooms are clean and tidy, equipped with modern amenities (such as smart toilets, high-quality bedding, and soundproofing). Some hotels also offer fitness centers, swimming pools, and other recreational facilities. Delicious and Rich Breakfast 1 The tea restaurant offers an elegant ambiance, a balanced menu of Chinese and Western dishes, and serves freshly squeezed juices and desserts, offering excellent value for money. Excellent Value 1 Reasonable prices, and some hotels offer free parking.

If you drive, you can park your car in Tianyan Town, which is close to the entrance and where you can eat after your morning tour. Before entering the scenic area, check in as much electronics, watches, keys, lighters, cigarettes, fruit knives, and other belongings as possible. Security is very strict, including a machine, a body search, and a bag opening. If you fail any of these, you won't be allowed in. My child forgot a bike computer in their backpack and had to recheck it. It was a busy time, so we were delayed at security for over 40 minutes. Then there was the long line for the bus, which took over an hour. Upon arrival, we wanted to take the minibus, but the line was too long. The conductor said the wait would be 50 minutes, and climbing the stairs would take half an hour. We decided to take the latter. Haha, if you're physically active, climbing the stairs is easy; our family managed it in 10 minutes. Be sure to bring plenty of cash throughout the scenic area. Photos cost 30 yuan each, camera rentals cost 300 yuan, and cash is required for minibus rides and purchases. The slide is an option for descent, and it takes only a few minutes to get to the bottom. We didn't buy a package ticket, so the entire tour took no more than an hour. It's worth seeing if you like astronomy and technology.
The planetarium's explanation method is very good. The guide Xiao Tang uses hot topics to promote knowledge exploration and run through the entire venue. The Tianyan above is also very impressive, worthy of being a national treasure!! 🚩

I think the most fun rafting was Gaoguohe. Although one of our friends got injured because he didn't wear the right protective gear, we all agreed that it was worth it! We'll definitely go again next year! You think it's almost over, but it's still there. The distance, excitement, fun, and duration are all very satisfying. Remember to find an official free refueling station for refueling. While rafting, the roadside vendors are only suitable for eating and drinking. The water guns are very low-quality. You should understand that the roadside vendors are a little more expensive, after all, they waded through the water to carry it up, so the price is acceptable.
**I. Core Highlights: Wild Landscapes and Extreme Thrills** 1. **The Natural Charm of the "Singing River"** - Rafting through a primeval forest canyon, the river's crystal-clear waters reveal fish and pebbles, with towering ancient trees and cascading waterfalls along its banks. It's been hailed as a "serene, treacherous, and breathtakingly beautiful painting." - The 5-kilometer route features a 200-meter drop and 5-6 rapids (the highest drop is 3 meters). The 3-4-hour journey alternates between rapids and gentle currents, with screams and splashing water reverberating for a truly immersive experience. 2. **Safety and Support** - Safety officers are posted at each rapid, and capsized boats are quickly rescued (most visitors report being pulled out within 1 minute). - Comprehensive complimentary equipment: life jackets, helmets, knee pads, and rafting shoes (it's recommended to bring your own Crocs, as shared supplies pose a hygiene risk). 3. **Interesting Experiences Along the Way** - Ginger tea, baked potatoes, and hot meals are available at the supply stations (5-10 yuan per serving), and you can stop to rest during the rafting. - "Slipper Mountain" at the finish line: Lost slippers from a capsized boat can be collected freely, creating a rafting version of a "lost and found." ⚠️ **II. Controversial Points: Management Disruption and User Experience Pain Points** 1. **Disastrous Peak Season Experience** - **Explosive Passenger Traffic**: Tickets sold out by 9:30 a.m. on weekdays in August, with an average daily visitor count of 13,000. The river was packed, with lines starting at two hours. - **Inefficient Ticket Exchange**: Few staffed windows and no vending machines. Elderly and children had to queue separately. The lobby lacked air conditioning, and "waiting for an hour left me sweating profusely." 📌 **III. Pitfall Avoidance Guide and Practical Suggestions** 1. **Off-Peak Strategies** - **Time**: Arrive before 7:00 AM on weekdays or the day after a heavy rain (higher water flow makes for a more thrilling experience); avoid weekends/afternoons when thunderstorms occur. - **Ticket Purchase**: Purchase tickets online one day in advance (retail price: 238 yuan). Children's tickets are not available on-site! Rafting is prohibited for those under 1.4 meters. 💎 Summary: Is it worth it? ** - **Recommended for**: Young adventure seekers/team building groups, those with a cold tolerance (the water temperature is low!). - **Discouragements**: Seniors over 55, the frail/cold-sensitive, and those with obsessive-compulsive disorder (the sanitation of public facilities is questionable). - **Final Advice**: > **"Avoid peak season = double the experience"**! If your only option is summer vacation, be sure to arrive at 7:00 AM for your first rafting, bring your own gear, and lower your expectations—the combination of wild scenery and unpretentious service is both an adventure and a spiritual journey. Rafting is risky and you need to be cautious when entering the river, but the thrill of riding the waves is still the wildest antidote to the hot summer 🌊.

There's a direct tourist bus from Zunyi High-Speed Railway Station to Wujiang Village, which takes just an hour to get to the scenic area's main entrance. After booking tickets on Ctrip, you can enter directly by swiping your ID card. The scenic area isn't too large, and the core area can be explored in about two hours. Then, it's time to wait for the evening performances, light shows, and drone shows. The drone show is a must-see; it's truly stunning. The lighting is also stunning, making for stunning photos. Restaurants, cafes, a small supermarket, and other amenities within the scenic area make it very convenient for visitors to rest and dine. The staff are friendly and helpful, making it a truly worthwhile destination.
The ancient village of northern Guizhou, adorned with the beauty of the Wujiang River, offers a truly breathtaking nightscape: warm bluestone pathways bathed in light, stilt houses looming in the mist, resembling a long ink painting scroll. During the day, explore the intangible cultural heritage workshops to learn ancient papermaking techniques and carve Nuo opera masks; at night, catch the "Wujiang Fishing Lights" live show, where fishing boats sway and lights flicker. Occasionally encounter lei cha (a type of tea) stalls and handicraft shops, combining a relaxing "mountain and water vacation with intangible cultural heritage experience" is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the vibrant life of this ancient southwestern village.

This is a well-worth-visiting attraction, not far from the city center. There are water and caves in the scenic area, making it easy to play. We went early, so there weren't many people in line. It was a great experience! The corn and cucumbers in the park were cheap and delicious. Highly recommended!
It was very beautiful during the rainy season, but unfortunately I didn't catch the rafting. There are basically small waterfalls everywhere and beautiful scenery everywhere. Friends who like to explore caves and play in the water should not miss it. Make sure to arrange your trip before the Huangguoshu Waterfall

A cool utopia next to the Wumeng Prairie✨Shanyuan Yunshe B&B Family, who understands the fear of being dominated by 40℃ high temperature! Fortunately, I discovered Shanyuan Yunshe B&B next to the Wumeng Prairie, which is simply a god-level existence for summer heat escape! 🌳 The B&B is hidden in the green mountains and forests. Looking up, the mountains are full of green. The breeze blows and brings a hint of coolness, instantly driving away the heat. 🏠 The room is clean and tidy, and the details are carefully considered. As soon as you enter the house, the warm and comfortable atmosphere is directly full. When you are tired of playing, you lie on the bed and relax your body and mind, just like returning to your own home. 🍱 You must praise the restaurant of the B&B! The yellow cattle, beef and native chicken here are local specialties, with tender meat. Every bite is full of gifts from nature. Every dish can make your taste buds cheer~ 🎮 Don’t worry about being bored when you are tired. You can play mahjong in the homestay. Who can refuse this happiness while enjoying the cool mountain breeze with friends! 🚗 Parking is super convenient, and there is no parking fee. The sense of security is directly full! And it is very close to the Wumeng Prairie Scenic Area. You can go straight to the scenic area early the next morning to start a wonderful play time~ This summer, come to Shanyuan Yunshe B&B and let the coolness and happiness collide with each other💖 #Wumeng Prairie #Summer B&B #Shanyuan Yunshe B&B #Summer Summer Good Place
Very nice original alpine meadow, a good place for leisure and photography, especially camping is so beautiful, the highest point of the view and the sea of clouds viewing platform are very good

My child is not even 1.3 meters tall, so I can only choose to drift for fun. I didn't enjoy it once, so I drifted twice. It is very suitable for children who are not very brave, but it is too short and not enough to play with.
As a Guizhou native, this is my first time to go rafting. It is so much fun. The whole rafting process is very exciting. Taoyuan River is a rafting that combines excitement, fun and appreciation. The rafting time is relatively long, and the experience is full. It is suitable for all ages. Overall, it is very good. However, there is still room for improvement in the scenic area services. Some life jackets are broken and dirty. The scenic area buses are crowded. A considerable number of people stood for nearly an hour before reaching the scenic area exit. Parking is relatively troublesome. It is a bit difficult to find a parking space. The overall traffic order is a bit congested, which can be improved.

Very suitable for family rafting. The first half is suitable for water fights, the second half is a bit thrilling but not dangerous, and in the end I also experienced human rafting. I really recommend it.
It's fun and suitable for rafting with kids. There was no sun when we were rafting. It was a bit cold in the first half, but it was very good in the second half. Because of the rising water, there was a section of rafting prohibited in the second half. We walked a little way ashore. The water quality was really good and very clear. It is worth coming.

There were so many cars driving here that it took 30 minutes to queue up to get into the service area. The area was also packed with cars, so traffic was slow. Except for the wave road, where staff were directing cars, they let them through one by one, allowing me to experience the feeling of the waves. The scenery was still spectacular, but there were a lot of cars.
The Asilisi Grassland Scenic Area is a self-drive grassland tour route with breathtaking scenery. Stop and go as you please for endless photo opportunities! The roadside is covered in lush green grass, where cows and horses graze leisurely. In the distance, the mountains rise in layers, creating a picturesque scene. Basalt forests dot the mountainside, and cenotes occasionally reveal cenotes. It's truly breathtaking! The popular Wave Highway here follows the contours of the mountain, creating a thrilling driving experience with its ups and downs. Several observation decks along the way, especially the Erpo Terrace, offer excellent vantage points. Overall, it's a great value, a relaxed and uninhibited experience, and a truly enjoyable experience!

My daughter said this was the most worthwhile place in Guiyang! The guide, Xiao Li, is a graduate of Guizhou University. He quoted classics and interacted well with everyone. He also prepared many small gifts for the students who answered the questions. The two hours were very fulfilling.
Because I booked too late, I didn't get the "Pomegranate Humanities Selection", and only got the "Big V Says", which has a slightly different price. The teacher who usually leads the study tour has a gentle voice and a temperament like orchid. The explanation content is professional. In addition to the verbal explanation, it is supplemented by iPad pictures and videos, which are vividly interpreted. The two-hour explanation did not stop throughout the whole process. I just felt that it was not enough. I highly recommend it~
