Xiucai said that Guide Li took me on a tour of the Forbidden City. Twenty years ago, I revisited the Forbidden City with Guide Li's guidance, and I gained new insights and experiences. Guide Li was enthusiastic, patient, and attentive in his explanations. If I bring children here next time, I will ask Guide Li to lead the tour again.
We absolutely loved the tour. In such a crowdy place that would be impossible to navigate with proper guide. We were also given useful tips for sightseeing Beijing. We were told plenty of information about history of the place and Caesar’s life.

We arrived before 10:00 AM and were able to enter the park in about 20 minutes—very quick. The joyful atmosphere was immediately apparent upon entering. We took it easy, choosing whichever attractions were least crowded. In total, we managed to do 10 attractions that day. The Halloween haunted houses were fun, and Mansion 81 was the most frightening. It was just that the experience lasted a long time. The supposed ghosts were put on by the staff, so just don't be the first one to arrive. The restaurants along the North Ring Road are really good. Several on Universal Boulevard are reasonably priced, and there's even KFC. All in all, we had a fun day.
It's a rare opportunity to visit Universal Studios. September 20th marked the park's fourth anniversary, and the park was packed. The Harry Potter area was the most popular, and they even had limited capacity. Many rides had long lines, and 90-minute waits were common. The rides were more thrilling than those at Shanghai Disneyland, which were relatively mild.

Great Wall of China is indeed very magnificent. Had a good and tiring walk at Badaling. May come back again if I have the energy and vacation. Indeed awesome journey. Excellent.
The Badaling Cable Car entrance is right after getting off the high-speed train. From a distance, it looked deserted, but the line inside was incredibly long. The single-ride cable car ticket was very useful, allowing for barrier-free access. Traveling off-peak was a good option, so it took only 40 minutes to board the cable car, which took us directly to Tower 7. We climbed the steep slopes, then the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th. Perseverance is key. If you can climb the Great Wall, you can do anything.

The value for money was quite good. The small group of less than 15 people, the cool breeze in late September, and the short queues allowed us to see all the major caves in three hours. Our guide, Xiaoguan, was also very conscientious and detailed in his explanations. He also repeatedly checked to see if we had found the corresponding figures on the cave murals.
This is a fantastic attraction. The scenic area provides a clear explanation of the formation of the Wannian Ice Cave. Furthermore, unlike other ice caves around the world, you have to enter the cave to explore it. The cave is well-preserved, and the lighting makes it even more captivating. The only downside is that the scenic area allows dogs to enter the cave.

It was a very pleasant group tour experience. I originally thought that a three-day trip would be very rushed if it was completed in one day. I was surprised by the professionalism and patience of Guide Su. Guide Su has a wealth of professional knowledge and explains very patiently. Not only is his explanation detailed but it is also very vivid. He gave me a good history lesson and gave me a deeper understanding of this period of history. I also sympathize with and thank the driver, Master Cheng, for his protection along the way. We had a pleasant end to this trip. Finally, thank you again for your dedication to everyone.
The palace is definitely worth a visit. However, it's quite crowded with tour groups. It took about two hours to tour the entire palace. I didn't queue for the Fu stele; if I had, I'd probably have waited another half hour.

The tour started with a meeting point to board a bus to bring us to the attraction entrance. Our guide Lianghua was punctual, gave us an introduction of the Mount Tai and brought us around. She was readily available to answer our questions and was helpful throughout the tour. The climb at the 18 bends was challenging yet satisfying. Over 3000 steps. The view at the peak was great and totally worth it. Amazing experience overall.
Overall, I like the cable car at Mount Tai, but the scenery at Mount Tai is really good. The price is not expensive, especially for the elderly, who are free or half price, which is very friendly. You don’t have to carry too many things up the mountain, and there are things for sale. I personally feel that it is not very expensive and within an acceptable range.

The Temple of Heaven, located on Beijing's central axis, is a place of prayer, boasting the best-preserved and most exquisite architecture of the Temples of Heaven, Earth, Sun, and Moon. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is a landmark of Beijing and even China. The park's vast expanse offers a breathtaking, quaint charm year-round, and its various buildings embody the pinnacle of ancient Chinese prayer. The park boasts verdant pines, cypresses, unusual rocks, and unique trees, while the magnificent illuminations of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests are a true classic. The park offers affordable admission, with discounts for students and seniors. Located in the heart of the city, the park is easily accessible by subway and public transportation.
The Temple of Heaven is a complex of imperial religious Confucian buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for a good harvest. It's "a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design which simply and graphically illustrates a cosmogony of great importance for the evolution of one of the world's great civilizations..."It's a beautiful place. It's an excellent place for meditation as well.

I took my family to the provincial capital for a weekend getaway, and unexpectedly ran into a crowd attending Jay Chou's concert. We arrived at Baotu Spring late, so it was relatively quiet. The scenery was beautiful, with the weeping willows and spring water reflecting off each other, and the kids were delighted. The path is quite staircase-heavy and gravelly, making it less stroller-friendly. If you don't have a helper, bring a lightweight stroller.
Stepping into Baotu Spring Park feels like stepping into a natural ink painting. Three clear springs gush endlessly, like jade liquid rising into the air and snow-capped waves surging, their endless vitality awe-inspiring! Surrounding the park are exquisite pavilions and weeping willows swaying in the water, perfectly blending the grandeur of northern gardens with the graceful beauty of Jiangnan scenery. Li Qingzhao's former residence, nestled within the park, adds a touch of cultural elegance. The water is crystal clear, revealing the bottom, and koi carp swim gracefully. Watching from the railing, your heart follows the tranquility of the springs, and your worries vanish. Admire the crabapple blossoms in spring and the chrysanthemums in autumn. The misty winter air, shrouded in mist, creates a truly dreamlike scene. Jinan's soul converges here, truly the most vibrant pearl of the Qilu region!

Teacher Wu Ping was very knowledgeable and kept explaining throughout the tour. She was very considerate of the elderly and always took the tourists into consideration. She was very attentive. At the end, she even gave us a fun little gift - building blocks. I didn't feel too tired after following the whole tour, and I learned a lot. It was really eye-opening. A highly recommended tour guide.
From Zhichun Pavilion, the silhouette of the Buddhist Incense Pavilion against the deep blue sky resembles a light ink painting. Lanterns along the long corridor light up, casting long, trembling red shadows across Kunming Lake. The bustle of the day fades, leaving only the gentle lapping of water against the stone shore, time and again, like the steady breathing of this ancient garden. The arches of the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, outlined by the lights, are rimmed with a gentle golden hue, blending with their reflections in the water to form full moons. Occasionally, a late-returning cruise ship passes by, shattering the pool of golden light, which lingers for a long time, refusing to dissipate. The wind carries the lingering fresh air of the lotus pond. Sitting on the stone railing by the water, gazing at the distant mountains and the nearby pavilion, listening to the whisper of the wind and the murmur of the water, I suddenly feel what day it is, and that I have become part of this tranquil night scene.

In terms of scenery, this tower is truly stunning. As for the story, it's definitely worth finding a guide to listen carefully and see the story carefully; otherwise, it's hard to understand why this tower is so famous. The parking lot is spacious, and even during May Day, you can still get a tour guide. Although the line to enter the tower looked long, it didn't take long, and the inside is worth seeing.
The night view is wonderful. The view of the wooden pagoda from the fountain in the Qi Garden is stunning, a blend of movement and stillness. The pagoda boasts numerous plaques, including one from the Jin Dynasty. Entering through the circular doorway, you can photograph the entrance where Liang Sicheng measured the height of the pagoda's finial. Entering the first floor, besides the main Buddha with a beard, you'll also see six mural Buddhas on either side, each with its own graceful postures. The walls on both sides of the inner and outer gates are covered in murals depicting donors, guardian deities, and the precious flowers on the Buddha's robes—a variety of beautiful designs. The plaque "Eternal Town of Jincheng" holds profound meaning. Jincheng was the ancient name for Ying County. Legend has it that when King Li Keyong of Jin was born, a golden phoenix flew out of a well, giving rise to the name Jinfengcheng.
