The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat is not far from the international airport and is the largest mosque in the country. The overall style is in line with the low-key characteristics of this country, simple but solemn, and is quite different from the style of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
I feel inlove with you the moment i saw you! ❤️Close to the road leading to the heart of the capital Muscat stands the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Wilayat (district) Bawshar, like a radiant lighthouse attracting its visitors to interact with the spirit of Islam as a religion, science and civilisation. This mosque highlights its role as a scientific and intellectual source of knowledge across the Islamic world.

[Muscat Sultan's Palace] ‎قصر العلم Alam Palace is the palace in the old town of Muscat, the capital of Oman, and is one of the six palaces of Oman Sultan. The palace, which has been in history for more than 200 years, was first built by Sultan bin Ahmed, and was built in 1972 in gold and blue fronts. The palace is not open to the public and visitors can only take pictures at the door. The Sultan of Oman used the palace as a place to receive dignitaries and hold ceremonies. For example, in 2012, Sultan Qaboos Ben Said received Queen Beatrice of the Netherlands here. Address: JH8V+9V8, Muscat, Oman Transportation: Bus Line 4 to "Al Alam palace"

The souk consists of several small stores that mainly sell traditional and local Omani products and crafts like Omani daggers, traditional clothes, silver crafts and jewellery, pottery and local food.
West of Muscat on the coast of the Gulf of Oman, there is an old market, that is the Matola Market (Mutrah Souq), which is located on the lively coastal roadside. This was once the commercial center of Muscat, the capital of Oman. Now this traditional market is the landmark of Maslot.
