The park is quite large. Entering from the east gate, you can take a shuttle bus up to the halfway point and walk down. The Buddha Palace and Buddha Pagoda are the main tourist attractions. The Buddha Palace is magnificent; you can visit the first floor first, then go to the underground palace, especially the fifth and fourth underground floors, which are well worth a visit. The Buddha Pagoda offers panoramic city views. Ticket prices are relatively high.
It was impressive. Although it's a man-made attraction, the price was a bit high. The most frustrating thing was that the route signs in the scenic area were too confusing and there were too few staff members, so we took a lot of wrong turns.

I recommend buying tickets in advance for better discounts. The experience was great; it looked crowded, but the crowd control was good. During the National Day holiday, there were NPC Q&A sessions. The beer samples were incredibly delicious!! I recommend going in.
Definitely worth visiting if you travel to Qingdao! The tour is quite fun. You get to learn about the history of the museum and also Qingdao itself.

The off-season weekday experience was great! Slender West Lake is huge, a perfect blend of garden-style architecture and a forest park; you could easily spend a whole day there. Daming Temple's architecture is also beautiful, especially the sunset views. This combined ticket is convenient; enter Slender West Lake from the South Gate and exit from the North Gate, and Daming Temple is a short walk away.

It's a beautiful scenic area. The cable car on the Yangkou route goes up and down very quickly, and the scenery at the top is especially good. Mitian Cave is particularly fun. I would like to visit the other routes next time I have the chance.
If you're not going to the Jufeng Scenic Area, you don't need to buy a combined ticket.
I stayed at a guesthouse in Qingliuhe Village and visited both Yangkou and Jufeng Scenic Areas over two days, both involving pure hiking uphill, which was really tiring for my legs.
Regarding the Jufeng Scenic Area, I don't exercise much, and it took me five and a half hours to get back to the cable car. The 40 yuan downhill cable car is definitely worth it; once you get down the Bagua Gate, you can't go down the steps anymore.

Buying tickets through Ctrip was very convenient. When I went the next day, it happened to be during a primary and secondary school autumn outing. The entire zoo was full of primary and secondary school students. They were so cute, even cuter than the animals.
It's improved since I visited many years ago; the facilities and shops are more complete, the environment is better, and it's more interesting. However, it's just far too crowded; I didn't see many animals. I recommend visiting during off-peak hours.

We took the kids there over the weekend, and it was a lot of fun. Although the hotel is a bit old, it was still very clean. Our housekeeper, Ms. Wang Ying, contacted us in advance to decorate the room and prepare fruit and snacks. The kids were hungry in the evening, so each of them had a milk and biscuits – so thoughtful! Breakfast was very crowded… While the selection wasn't huge, the quality was decent; the noodles and donuts were delicious. I highly recommend this hotel; it's excellent.
I went on Friday, and it was packed with people. There were queues for almost every attraction. The facilities are outdated, but the dinosaur museum was quite nice and worth a visit. The dinosaur research center was closed for upgrades.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the official WeChat account or major travel platforms.
A general admission ticket is 170 yuan, with student discounts available. There might be queues at the ticket counter, so buying in advance is much more convenient.
Itinerary
We recommend starting with the Dreamy Jellyfish Palace, where the colorful jellyfish under the lights create a dreamlike scene, perfect for taking photos. Next, head to the Seal Pavilion to see the adorable seals. Now for the highlights: the Marine Life Pavilion and Whale Pavilion have many precious specimens, where you can learn a lot about the ocean. Then, there's the incredible underwater tunnel! Stretching nearly 100 meters, walking in feels like being surrounded by fish from every angle, with sharks, turtles, and rays swimming right beside you—the feeling is indescribable. It's also a great place for taking photos; even a simple shot on the escalator has a great atmosphere.
Finally, head to the freshwater aquarium to see some unique freshwater creatures.
Show Times: Don't forget to check the times for the mermaid show and the shark and human show; they're spectacular. Arrive half an hour early to secure a good front-row seat.
