The Longmen Grottoes are a must-see for everyone. Buying tickets on Ctrip was very convenient. Watching the lights illuminated from the Dongshan Observation Deck was breathtaking. I forgot the name of the river there, but it was also beautiful. There's a bus stop at the Northwest Service Area, making it easy to get back to the old city! The bus service during this Luoyang trip was incredibly convenient and affordable! The government is incredibly thoughtful and supportive!
Wow, it's a masterpiece of nature. Went to Longmen Grottoes! As soon as I got off the bus, I was hit by the historical atmosphere. Strolling along the Yi River, the grottoes stacked up layer upon layer, it was incredibly spectacular. The Vairocana Buddha was so stunning, his eyes were so compassionate, it's a true treasure. The only regret was that there were so many people, so all the photos were group photos.

There was a light rain on Huashan today, and many views were obscured by fog. The route was from west to north, and the most difficult part was the descent from the middle peak to the north peak. The west-up and west-down route is still recommended.
Huashan is well worth a visit. Transportation is now convenient. The Xi'an high-speed rail takes 28 minutes to Huashan North. A taxi takes you to the Huashan base, and the scenic shuttle bus takes 40 minutes. For those who are more energetic, you can take the ascending cable car for 30 yuan per person, which takes you directly to the West Peak. The cable car takes you up to the West Peak, which takes 20 minutes. The summit of West Peak is just a short distance away. From West Peak to South Peak, it takes about 30 minutes. The cable car takes you down the mountain from South Peak to Filial Piety Peak, East Peak, and West Peak in about an hour. The scenic shuttle bus takes you down the mountain in 40 minutes. The Huashan day trip departs Xi'an North at 7:52 and arrives in Xi'an around 18:30. It was a pleasant day with clear weather and we enjoyed the most beautiful scenery of Huashan.

It started raining halfway through our hike, and for a moment, I felt completely lost and couldn't see anything. But then the rain cleared up, and when the wind picked up, the sea of clouds billowed, a picture perfect spectacle. Our ancestors knew how to choose a spot; this truly is the place for enlightenment and immortality. Sunrise, noon, and sunset are all stunning, and no matter how you take your photos, they're all beautiful, no matter the weather; each has its own unique beauty. Personally, I think it's a far superior experience to Huangshan Mountain, offering excellent value for money and a great escape during the hot summer months.

During the National Day holiday, I went to Wudang Mountain. There were still a lot of people. I stayed at a guesthouse at the foot of the mountain. It took about ten minutes to walk to the entrance of the scenic area in the morning. I was lucky enough to get on the bus around 7:30. All the facilities were well-equipped, and the shuttle buses between each scenic spot were also very close. It took about 3 hours to get on and off the cable car from the end of the cable car to the top of the mountain. There were a lot of people queuing up.
Great Wudang, great beauty! Very beautiful. Climb the mountain first, then take the cable car down, and then visit other Taoist temples. Planning well saves energy. Almost all the attractions are visited. It's great!

The Qutang Gorge is beautiful! The boat trip was great, but Baidi Island was a bit of a filler. It was boring and newly built, just for show. After a long climb, I was speechless. The Three Gorges are truly beautiful, and the wonders of nature are always captivating! The only thing that's lost is the dam, which made the water so calm and still. It's a bit of a loss of the gorge's soul.
Personally, I think the entrance fee to the scenic spot is too high and the playability is relatively low. I suggest that friends who go there should have a tour guide to explain, otherwise it will be boring to wander around by yourself! Those who like history can go there. I am obsessed with Li Bai's poems, so I went there 🤣🤣

Don't miss the Jiaoyun Two Dams and One Gorge cruise! Visit the Three Gorges Dam, Gezhouba Dam, and Xiling Gorge all at once—this trip is sure to leave you breathtakingly excited! [Tour Route]
Boat to/from: Board the boat at 8:30 AM from the Three Gorges Visitor Center. Enjoy the scenic scenery of Yichang along the river, pass through the Gezhouba locks, experience the wonder of rising water, and admire the scenery of Xiling Gorge. Arrive at Sanduping Port at noon. After lunch at a four-star hotel, take a bus to explore the Three Gorges Dam (including Tanziling, Platform 185, and the Diversion Memorial Park). Return to Yichang city by bus. Our guide, Xiao Yang, is patient and knowledgeable.
We chose a ferry trip and a return bus. First class is recommended, departing at 8:00 AM and returning to the visitor center at 4:30 PM. VIP service is provided throughout the trip.
Before departure, we had a simple McDonald's breakfast in the VIP lounge. We boarded the ferry using the express lane, skipping the line and going directly to the fourth floor, where we were provided with fruit, snacks, and juice. We also had a free VR session lasting nearly ten minutes, where we watched a short film about the construction of the Three Gorges.
At noon, the ferry arrived at Sanduping. Our group of nine enjoyed a group meal with a rich menu (the guide asked if the guests had any dietary restrictions). There were only two vegetarian dishes, and the rest were all meat, which was quite good for a group meal. The food was served quickly.
After lunch, the car that picked us up was already parked outside the hotel. In the afternoon, we visited the Three Gorges Museum, the Yangtze River Diversion Memorial Hall, the Three Gorges Dam, Tanziling, and Scenic Spot 185.
The tour didn't involve much walking, and the guide provided detailed explanations, making it a great trip for the elderly and children.

This scenic spot is highly recommended, featuring multiple live performances of various genres. Upon entering, there are two options: a cable car and an escalator, which are both energy-saving. It's recommended to allow ample time for the visit; a full day is quite relaxing and enjoyable.
The scenic area is small and a bit commercialized. The boat ride to and from the Three Gorges offers pleasant views. The elevators inside the scenic area are a rip-off, costing 30 yuan for three small elevators. The five elevators in the Three Gorges Dam are all free. The performance square was very crowded, so I only watched from the outside platform. Longjin Creek is a great place to play in the water, refreshing and cooling. Bring your own slippers if you want to play in the water; slippers inside are 30 yuan a pair.
