Nanjing Hongshan Zoo is a charming zoo; the animals all seem very happy. Even we, the visitors, felt happy and joyful. I've already been twice, and I think I'll come a third and fourth time. The area around the zoo is fantastic; I love it!
I was skeptical when I saw someone say a visit to the park takes 5 hours, but I ended up spending just as much time there myself. I really enjoyed the panda enclosure and rare bird enclosure near the North Gate. It was a bit of a shame that the famous panda cub, Dudu, wouldn't show its full face! The monkey mountain at the end was quite interesting too. The bear and tiger enclosures were so-so, and Kala was rather lazy. However, at 60 yuan, it's still very good value for money and worth a visit.

The Hubei Provincial Museum houses over 240,000 artifacts, including nearly 1,000 pieces of national first-class cultural relics. As of February 2023, it occupies a total land area of 85,000 square meters and a total building area of 114,000 square meters, of which 36,000 square meters are exhibition space. The museum is laid out as a south and north building, with two independent east and west exhibition halls. Among its artifacts are the Zeng Hou Yi chime bells, the Sword of Goujian, King of Yue, and the Tiger-shaped Drum Stand.
Our tour guide, Chen Yao, was very professional. She provided detailed explanations of the museum's treasures and arranged the route reasonably. With so many visitors today, she saved us a lot of time.

If you're visiting Nanjing, you absolutely must check out the Nanjing Museum. It's a huge place with tons of exhibits and a fantastic experience. The museum is structured as one building with six galleries: a history gallery, a special exhibition gallery, a digital gallery, an art gallery, an intangible cultural heritage gallery, and a Republican-era gallery. Even a cursory glance could take a whole day to explore. The audio guides are very user-friendly, with several types available for adults, students, and children, catering to different age groups. The replica Republican-era street below is quite immersive. There are also many souvenirs available; I bought these building block fridge magnets, which are quite suitable for kids and also have a nice souvenir value.
Fantastic and huge museum. Free but you must reserve tickets in advance on wechat (very difficult, make sure to do it 7 days in advance as they get booked up). Very little English, bring a translator app. I spent 6 hours here, could have spent more. There's 3 buildings:1. North building has 6 amazing galleries of regional history from dinasours and prehistory through Qing. Highlight of Jaingsu. 2. West building is mostly just 20th cent artists (skippable imo), but the basement is a huge recreated Republican-era Nanjing Street. Every storefront is an actual shop you can buy things at. Feels a bit like a commercialized version of the Japanese Edo museums. No historical artifacts or interpretation - 100% Disney-style, but still highly recommended. There's even a theater with live performances (English subtitles).3. Northwest buildings holds 15 temporary exhibition galleries. The first floor seemed to hold the blockbuster one (Oct 2025 was a huge encyclopedic gallery of Persian artifacts, really delightful). Higher floors seemed to hold thematic displays of Ming/Qing artifacts, likely ftom the Republican-era collection left behind in 1949. There's a cafe on the top floor along with a nice terrace. There's paid luggage storage before entry, may need a Chinese phone number though.

The venue is indeed not very large, and it doesn't take too long to walk around, but the cultural relics are quite impressive, with countless artifacts from the Warring States and Han Dynasties. Make a reservation in advance, and it's a must-see attraction.
Teacher Zhang's explanation was incredibly detailed and informative. He was very dedicated and enthusiastic, demonstrating a deep understanding and pride in the culture of our hometown. Thank you for your explanation, Teacher! I'll definitely come back to Xuzhou again! 👍

The museum is new, very clean, and beautifully decorated. It's not too crowded, and it takes about an hour to see everything. The ticket is cheap, so it's definitely worth a visit.
It was raining in the ancient town, so I could only go back to the hotel and browse my phone. Thinking about checking my itinerary, I came across the Nanjing Six Dynasties Museum, which I visited last year. The collection isn't large, but it offers a glimpse into Nanjing from ancient times to the present. The museum's design is also quite nice. If you're ever in Nanjing, the Nanjing Six Dynasties Museum is definitely worth a visit.

The scenic area is relatively pristine. The cable car's middle station leads directly to the waterfall group, and the downhill road is well-maintained; it's about a half-hour walk to the scenic area's bus stop. You can take the scenic area bus to Baima Grand Canyon and then walk downhill for about 1.5 hours, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. The ticket allows for two entries; those with good stamina can enter the park a second day to climb the main peak.
Except for the bad weather, foggy and cloudy mountain, the experience was okay. Fortunately, there was a cable car to go up. My legs would have shaken just walking down the mountain. I played in the afternoon of the first day in Baima Grand Canyon. It was pretty good.

It's OK. There is a parking lot. There are games inside where you can win coins. It's quite interesting. The food is average and tastes okay. The red envelope grabbing part is too crazy. I didn't go to other places. The ticket price feels like a rip-off.
The price is not expensive at all. How should I put it? The scenery is basically man-made, but it can also give tourists some new experiences. There is also the night view on the mountain, the bright artificial starry sky and fireflies, which is still very beautiful! It's not bad if you lower your expectations a little hahahaha

A gentle evening breeze, carrying the unique moisture of the Yangtze River, brushed against the gunwale as the cruise ship slowly departed the dock, gradually unfolding the night of Wuhan. On the river, shimmering waves meandered along the wake of the ship, like scattered diamonds, reflecting the lights that lit up one after another on both banks—the eaves of the Yellow Crane Tower were adorned with a warm yellow halo, like a jade palace floating in the night; the neon lights along the riverbank stretched along the shoreline, intertwining with the lights of the rows of buildings on the opposite bank, weaving a flowing galaxy of light and shadow.
The Hankou River Beach is the most scenic and longest section of the riverfront, perfect for a leisurely stroll rather than a rushed photo op. It frequently hosts various cultural and tourism promotional events. There's a chrysanthemum exhibition currently on display, which I recommend checking out; the panoramic views are quite pleasant.

The park was brimming with Halloween spirit, with pumpkin decorations and themed mascots everywhere, as well as creatively designed burger and giant chicken installations, making for fantastic photo opportunities. Visitors also showed great enthusiasm, with various quirky costumes that were eye-catching, creating the atmosphere of a grand costume party with plenty of interaction.
As Halloween approaches, the atmosphere is getting more and more lively. Many new themed haunted houses have been added. The NPCs in them are very good-looking and interactive. Under the lighting atmosphere, taking photos and checking in are very photogenic. After feeling the Halloween atmosphere, you can go to play other projects. The experience is great!

I don't think the 50 yuan ticket price is expensive. Over 60 organizations contributed exhibits to create this special exhibition. To avoid interfering with visitors' photography, there were staff specifically cleaning handprints from the glass display cases. Of course, they wouldn't provide that for free. I certainly don't want my photos covered in other people's handprints. The exhibition layout was quite elegant, with no backtracking. There were also some physical objects for visitors to touch and feel the texture and weight. The walls also featured introductions to ancient gold craftsmanship.
Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00-17:00 (extended to 18:00 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), last entry at 16:30, closed on Mondays. Transportation: No reservation required! The new museum is directly accessible via Metro Line 3 to "Provincial Museum Station". The old museum is a 300-meter walk from "Sanxiaokou Station" on Metro Line 2.
