I originally planned to take the southern route and then the central route, but I mistakenly took the southern route instead, ending up on the longest route to Xianglu Peak. I probably walked several hundred meters more, but the views were still quite good. I saw all the major red tourism sites near the foot of the southern route. Since it was past 4 PM on the way down, most of the attractions below Senyuhu were closed, so I could only view them from the outside. I didn't even get to the central route; I'll have to come back another time. The vertical drop from the foot of the mountain to Xianglu Peak is estimated at 300 meters. With plenty of time to explore and eat, the climb was slow and only took half a day, making it a low-intensity activity. As for the scenery, the red leaves had mostly fallen when I went, so I only saw yellow leaves, but it was still quite beautiful. Jingcui Lake and Xiangshan Temple were decent, and the other attractions along the way were also quite nice with the yellow leaves. In short, if you come to Beijing, you should definitely visit Xiangshan.
Fragrant Hills Park is absolutely gorgeous in autumn, and the most beautiful sight here is undoubtedly the red leaves. The red leaves in Fragrant Hills Park are traditional and very unique. When you come here, you can enjoy the red leaves. There are several routes, and the best route is on the south side. If you go from the south, you can see many beautiful red leaves. After enjoying the red leaves, you can also visit other attractions in Fragrant Hills, such as the red Shuangqing Villa and other ancient sites.

I made a special trip to Shiyan to see the maple leaves on November 10th. Unfortunately, it rained continuously a few days ago, and most of the red leaves on the mountain had fallen. Looking around the entire mountain area, there were hardly any red leaves left. However, I could still feel the beauty and grandeur of Shiyan.
Hongye Shiyan is an unexpected and charming place, with beautiful scenery, rich cultural heritage, a down-to-earth atmosphere, and a lively atmosphere. Seniors can enjoy a relaxing trip, while young people can enjoy thrilling surfing. There are markets, performances, and reasonably priced restaurants.

The Summer Palace, nestled against Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, covers over 300 hectares, with water accounting for about three-quarters of its area. Surrounded by mountains and water, it is a royal garden renowned for its breathtaking scenery. Its pavilions, halls, corridors, bridges, and terraces each possess unique characteristics, borrowing scenery from the natural environment to elevate the Summer Palace's beauty far beyond the garden itself. In 1998, the Summer Palace became a World Heritage Site.
A Brief Introduction to the Flowers, Trees, and Plants of the Summer Palace: Ancient and Famous Trees: * **Chinese Pine:** An evergreen tree with a beautiful shape, widely distributed throughout the Summer Palace. * **White Pine:** A precious tree species, named for its unique white bark. * **Chinese Arborvitae:** Commonly used in landscaping, highly ornamental. * **Chinese Scholar Tree:** Flowers in summer with a strong fragrance, a common street tree in Beijing. * **Ginkgo:** Its leaves turn golden in autumn, adding much autumnal color to the Summer Palace. Flowers and Plants: * **Magnolia:** Blooms in early spring with pure white or pink flowers, exuding fragrance, a top choice for spring flower viewing. * **Peony:** Known as the "King of Flowers," its blooms are elegant and magnificent. * **Plum Blossom:** Blooms in late winter and early spring, highly cold-resistant, symbolizing perseverance. * **Lotus:** Blooming gracefully on Kunming Lake in summer, the lotus flowers stand tall and provide a refreshing feeling. Chrysanthemum: A representative flower of autumn, with many varieties and vibrant colors.

I only come here in autumn and during the Spring Festival. No matter the season, if you've read Shi Tiesheng's "Me and the Temple of Heaven," you'll find peace in its timeless and profound atmosphere; walking through it, all the noise in your heart will subside...
Shi Tiesheng Ditan Temple is a famous Beijing scenic spot. It is clean and has a good environment. It is generally well received. It is quite recommended and affordable. It is recommended for people from all over the world to visit, especially for travel enthusiasts and those with children.

Autumn was a great time to visit. Traffic was congested on the weekend, and roadworks were underway near the attractions. The parking lot was quite large, but the path from the parking lot to the entrance was made of cobblestones and wasn't very smooth. The area inside isn't actually very big; you can walk to each of the smaller attractions, especially the God of Wealth Temple and the Stone Fish Touching Area (there are long queues there).
The road to Tanzhe Temple is currently under construction, with some sections now only open in one direction. I recommend going early or avoiding weekends and holidays. The temple itself is also undergoing repairs, with some areas fenced off. The ginkgo trees haven't even turned yellow yet, but burning incense and worshipping Buddha isn't affected. I especially love standing between the two ginkgo trees; I feel so insignificant.

The hilltop church and other attractions are quite unique. The area isn't too crowded, and the environment is quite pleasant, making it suitable for a weekend visit. However, some staff members in the scenic area don't respond to questions, as if they are deaf. I don't know why.
It was cold in winter, and not many people were around. After walking around, most of the shops were open, but there weren't many people. You can try rowing a boat, which is quite nice. You can also visit the Simatai Great Wall, which looks treacherous but is actually not safe at all; it's best to wear good hiking shoes when climbing the Great Wall. There are many cats in the ancient town, and we didn't bring enough cat treats.

The Old Summer Palace (Yuanmingyuan) was a grand imperial garden, with incredibly beautiful mountains and waters. The expansive waterways allowed waterbirds to soar freely over the surface, and fish swam leisurely and contentedly. The ruins section within the garden was a key area, serving as my country's most famous patriotic education base and irrefutable evidence of imperialist aggression against China.
Lao She said, "Autumn in Beiping is paradise." So true! Autumn in Beijing's hutongs is full of life. It's time to take some life photos of autumn! Sharing the captivating beauty of autumn in Beiping that I captured with live photos. Taking good pictures is as easy as breathing.

Hongye Valley, located in the southern suburbs of Jinan City, Shandong Province, is truly a beautiful place. In autumn, the more than 4,000 acres of red leaf forest within the scenic area undulate in the wind, resembling a red ocean. Strolling along the forest trails, you're surrounded by red leaves within easy reach. Xuanqiu Lake, like a piece of jade inlaid within, reflects the colorful mountains and forests in its clear waters. The most beautiful season attracts many tourists to Hongye Valley to experience the warmth and poetry of autumn. Dining Guide: Local restaurants and Shangbala Leisure Valley within the scenic area; farmhouses are available along the roads leading up and down the mountain outside the scenic area. Recommended Visit Time: 2-3 hours. Transportation within the scenic area: Sightseeing bus 40 yuan/person. Ticket Information: Book tickets in advance via this official WeChat account. Inquiries: 0531-82818666, 0531-82733788. Hongye Festival Opening Hours: Opening: 7:30 (weekdays) / 7:00 (holidays) Closing: 17:00
Red Leaf Valley does have some red leaves, which turn a good color in early November. Combined with the morning mist over Xuanqiu Lake, it's quite beautiful. However, the scenic area isn't very large, just a small amount of mountains and water. Tickets are expensive, and the sightseeing bus isn't cheap either. During peak season, a visit can easily take an hour, but traffic jams can make it three hours. It's recommended to avoid traveling during holidays.

The scenery was absolutely beautiful, especially this time of year. The autumn leaves were ablaze with vibrant colors, creating a truly breathtaking spectacle. We had a fantastic time. The toboggan run on the mountain is an extra charge.
I've visited Hongluo Temple in Huairou countless times. Last time I came to make a wish, and this time I made a special trip to fulfill that wish. In late autumn, Hongluo Temple is also a rare and exceptional place to view the red leaves. Immersed in this landscape where the ancient temple and the red leaves intertwine, you can not only escape the hustle and bustle but also feel a sense of tranquility and beauty.

The high-speed train from Beijing North Railway Station is very convenient! 👍🏻 It's a 5-minute walk from the train station to the entrance of the aerial cable car, which takes you directly to the 7th floor of the North Tower, and then you can walk to the 8th floor. This is the highest point, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains!
Try to go at Night, buy the correct package. No night visits in the witer.
