This time I came to the Forbidden City to fulfill my dream. I was unable to visit it last year due to special reasons. This time I specially arranged a two-day trip to Beijing. Overall, it was good. The Zhang Xueliang Former Residence, also known as the Zhang Family Marshal's Mansion, the Grand Marshal's Mansion, or the Young Marshal's Mansion, is located at No. 46, Shaoshuaifu Lane, Chaoyang Street, Shenhe District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. It served as both the official and private residence of Zhang Zuolin and his eldest son, Zhang Xueliang. It covers a total area of 36,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 27,600 square meters. It is currently a patriotic education base at the provincial and municipal levels, and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. The architectural styles vary, including traditional Chinese, a fusion of Chinese and Western styles, Romanesque, Nordic, and Japanese. The Zhang Xueliang Former Residence includes several cultural relics, including a three-story courtyard, the Grand Green Building, the Small Green Building, and the former residence of Zhao Yidi. It is one of the largest and best-preserved celebrity residences in Northeast China.
The weather is hot in August, so visitors tend to flock to it during the summer vacation. It is conveniently located near Shenyang's busiest street, Zhongjie, for easy access.
It was quite clean, so I was assured. The floor and tabletops were dust-free, and the bedding looked freshly changed, with no odor. The bathroom sink and toilet were also meticulously cleaned, making for a very comfortable stay.

We finished our day trip to Shanhaiguan and were very satisfied! We were scheduled to depart at 9:00 AM, but our driver, Li, arrived early at 8:40 AM. The car was clean and odor-free. He was responsible, meticulous, and sincere. The Qinjia cuisine he recommended was super delicious. It was a very pleasant chartered car trip!
It was a great travel experience. Shanhaiguan is also known as the No. 1 Pass in the World. Climbing up the Shanhaiguan Tower and overlooking the entire city, you will feel like a single man guarding the pass against ten thousand.

The Liaoning Provincial Museum has a large collection of exhibits, and the explanations are very detailed and informative. I learned a lot from the two and a half hour explanation. I thank the tour guide for his wonderful explanation.
I finally had the chance to visit the Liaoning Provincial Museum, a provincial museum jointly built by the national and local governments. It had been on my wish list for a long time, but I finally managed to pull it off today. Since its relocation to the new building in Hunnan District, Shenyang, the exhibition area has been greatly expanded, allowing more of the museum's collection to be seen, which is definitely a major benefit. I confirmed before the trip that the museum's true treasures were all at home, not traveling or on loan. However, the finest paintings and calligraphy were digitized and displayed in VR, so I couldn't see them in person. The Liaoning Provincial Museum is absolutely not to be missed.

It was a great experience. The service was excellent. The attractions were good. I tried the indoor rafting, which was great. The fish spa was nice, with its small fish and water guns. The breakfast at the Suifeng restaurant and the food on the third floor of the hot springs were also very impressive and good.

I forgot to leave a review. The scenic area is great, the cave is particularly beautiful, and the boat ride was a delightful one. There's a lake right afterward, the water is crystal clear and full of fish.
The life jackets do have a strong odor, though; I recommend cleaning them regularly.
The water cave is ok, you don't need to rent a coat, just wear long pants and long sleeves with a disposable raincoat. (Mid-August) The dry cave is boring, the Taizi River cruise takes 20 minutes, and you can only stay in the cabin.

It was spectacular. Thanks to the magical nature for giving us an unforgettable experience. We walked to a road leading directly to the foot of the mountain. After about an hour, the road was gradually flooded and we had to take a speedboat back. It was fun. No one can change the laws of nature.
