This time, we were led by Teacher Xiao Bing, who provided a very professional and knowledgeable guide.
He was able to bring the caves and the stories of the people behind them to life in a vivid and engaging way.
What was particularly professional was that Teacher Xiao Bing grasped every detail of each cave, getting right to the point. The two and a half hours were filled with valuable information.
In fact, only the broken walls and ruins are left. The largest Buddha statues were not stolen because they were too big. The good ones are all on the front. I think it is enough to take a bus back to the east, but it has been raining in Luoyang recently.

Very nice, highly recommended. There's a restroom upstairs. Bring some snacks and water. It was raining heavily when I first went there, but it eventually stopped and the place was spacious and sunny. I took a lot of photos there. It was a great place to take photos, with many girls taking photos in period costumes. I spent the entire afternoon there by myself. As long as it's not too sunny, it's worth going. Remember to wear flat shoes.

It's super convenient. I could enter by swiping my ID card. It just happened to be a consumption festival, so the price was 16 yuan cheaper. I could use the points to deduct another 5 yuan. I was able to make up for the price I paid for the Huashan ticket.

Such a pity: China, from its openness, inclusiveness, and ambition, became inward-looking, steady, and balanced, ultimately ending completely at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, the first Han dynasty to fall. How I wish Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, a historical figure, had risen to the occasion, led his troops, quickly wiped out the rebellion, and unified the country.
Definitely worth visiting! But you’ll need to understand mandarin, otherwise you’re there just for the effects. The performance was mesmerising, I really enjoyed the show.

I drove there by Yellow River Route 1. Along the way, I saw Shaanxi on the left and Shanxi on the right. I arrived at the navigation parking lot, parked the car, bought a ticket and took the shuttle bus in (20 yuan). It is recommended to buy a raincoat because mud and water splashed around. Remember to wear flat shoes.

It's worth the trip. You can visit many historical and cultural sites in Pingyao Ancient City with one ticket. The recommended ones are the Escort Museum, the Bank, the County Government Office, and the Yingxun Gate. I didn't have enough time to go to Rishengsheng and Ma's Courtyard.
If you're in Pingyao, you absolutely must visit Shuanglin Temple. The ancient ruins are truly amazing, stimulating your senses and a must-see. Getting there is easy; just take bus number 108.

This is a place I take my parents to every year. It's lively and the lanterns are exquisitely crafted. It's all about the festive atmosphere. The Tang Paradise is bustling and lively, and we enjoy the lanterns and celebrate the New Year. We also visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
