The peonies in Heze are the best in the world. They are extremely beautiful and fragrant. It is really nice to see them when they are in full bloom. The flowers are beautiful and there are many people. The only problem is that the traffic is a bit chaotic and parking is not very convenient. Overall, it is good.
As a local, it doesn't matter whether I go or not, but there are indeed many varieties of flowers in Mudanping. I suggest you go on May 1st or before May 1st. Because I have seen many out-of-town guests say that there are no flowers and the flowering period has actually passed.

Water Margin Hero City is located in Yuncheng County, Heze City. You can take a bus from Heze to Yuncheng County to get there. After booking tickets on Ctrip, you can directly scan the QR code of the mobile phone ticket booking at the gate of the scenic spot to enter the park. I entered the park at about 1 pm. I first visited the main attractions such as the Confucian Temple, Yuncheng County Government, and the Big Buddha Temple in order, and then watched the program according to the time of the program schedule. The characteristic of Water Margin Hero City is that there are performances throughout the day, performed at different scenic spots, and the performances are very exciting. The actors are also very dedicated, especially Li Kui's trial, throwing embroidered balls to recruit relatives, Yan Qing's competition, high-altitude suspension ropes, and global roller coasters. The performances are very exciting. You can visit various museums and courtyards inside during the performances. The lights of the scenic spot are turned on at 7 pm, and you can watch the light show, especially the fire pot and iron flower performances are very shocking. I didn't come out until the scenic spot closed at 9 o'clock. Water Margin Hero City is a scenic spot that is worth visiting. It integrates garden monuments, museum exhibitions, wonderful performances and night lights. The scenic area is well managed and the staff are also very enthusiastic. The city gate is magnificent, the layout is reasonable, there are a lot of food, there are a lot of things for children to play, the parking lot at the entrance is also quite large, and parking is also available around the south gate. The tickets are not expensive and the price/performance ratio is good, and there are performances inside.
