The scenery was average in the first half, but when the sun set, Chaka Salt Lake ushered in its most beautiful moment, with the sunset reflected on the lake. At this moment, the 60 votes were worth 70.
I don't think the train ride is necessary. Also, luggage storage costs 20 RMB per hour, while it's free at Qinghai Lake. The lockers were also filthy. The area itself was quite nice, with good hygiene and clean restrooms.

The Ta'er Monastery is well worth a visit, though it's a shame that the murals, embroidery, and butter sculptures can only be appreciated with the naked eye. It would also be perfect if the temple could label each Buddha statue with its name and description in Chinese characters, allowing more people to understand the culture of the Ta'er Monastery.
Ta'er Monastery, the birthplace of Lama Tsongkhapa, boasts over 400 years of history and rich historical heritage, requiring the hiring of local guides. Nestled amidst lush green mountains, the mystical Ta'er Monastery lies within this beautiful scenery.

The Baimi thangkas drew me here. They are truly exquisite and breathtaking. Listening to the guide's narration left a lasting impression. I was deeply moved by the people's faith and the magnificent visuals. It's well worth a visit.
The dazzling museums and Tibetan culture are truly captivating. If you're traveling, I personally recommend saving museums for after visiting tourist attractions; it'll give you a sense of clarity and enlightenment. Since we had children with us, we only visited the South Building. Admission is 60 yuan, and those over 60 are free. Floors 2, 3, and 4 are all exhibition halls. The 4th floor (Thangkas) and the 2nd floor (costumes) are truly spectacular, though the glass is covered in handprints from people touching it... You can rent an audio guide on the first floor for 20 or 30 yuan, but the guides aren't particularly good. You still have to find the corresponding exhibits. If you want to truly remember something, you'll need a real-person guide. The North Building houses Tibetan medicine. There's also a natural history museum across the street. I originally wanted to visit both, but with children, it was impossible. Those with good legs can definitely plan to visit both. Since we're here!

Shapotou National Nature Reserve, also known as the Ningxia Shapotou Tourist Area, is located in Zhongwei City, Ningxia. Established in 1984, it is a national 5A-level scenic spot. It boasts China's largest natural sandslide, the "Shapo Mingzhong," and the Shapotou Yellow River Zipline, known as the "World's First Yellow River Zipline" across the Yellow River. In 2013, Shapotou was featured as the second stop on the family-friendly program "Where Are We Going, Dad?" Our group of six departed from the city early in the morning and took bus No. 2 directly to the scenic area. We entered through the waterwheel gate and walked to admire the rushing Yellow River and the laughter of people riding sheepskin rafts. Children enjoyed sandslides and the thrill of the Yellow River Zipline, while elderly people enjoyed the sunset from camels. Happiness was tangible in that moment. After our trip, we took a bus directly from the scenic area entrance to Zhongwei South Station to prepare for the next day's journey.
Shapotou Scenic Area is a blast, with excellent management and service. Raft operator No. 123 was especially friendly. He not only took photos with us, but also explained the rafting process while we paddled, and even sang a Ningxia folk song. Riding on the raft was stable and safe, and the water didn't splash on us. It was a great experience!

There is a 4A scenic spot on the way to the airport. You should spend more time to visit it. There are two directions of sightseeing. Due to time constraints, I only visited Danding Lansheng and went to the highest point to overlook the Danxia landform.
Ink Danxia has great potential to become a 5A scenic spot. The management and planning are good, and the classics are still under development. I just hope the price will be a little cheaper! Also, there should be more sunshade facilities ~ otherwise it will be too sunny, hahaha ~

The boarding point is at the passenger center. After entering the main waiting room, go straight inside and there is a separate room. The bus booked on Ctrip is the same as the official bus. You need to ask the staff for your seat number. The tour lasts 3 hours, arriving at Qinghai Lake at 11:20 and returning at 2:30.
Qinghai Lake offers beautiful scenery and fresh air. Despite its high altitude, altitude sickness is minimal. The driveway along the lake is beautifully constructed. The Erlangjian Scenic Area is less interesting, with its man-made landscapes that feel out of harmony with the natural environment.

Erlangjian Scenic Area is one of the core attractions of Qinghai Lake. It requires tickets, beautiful scenery and fresh air. It is a must-check-in attraction for Qinghai Lake tourism. Erlangjian Scenic Area belongs to the Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture area. There are many places to eat and stay in its surroundings. The price is relatively fair. It is not too expensive during non-holidays, but you can also choose to return to Xining city on the same day after visiting the scenic spot.
I highly recommend Erlangjian of Qinghai Lake. The scenic area is really beautiful. There are shuttle buses to and from Qinghai Lake. You can see the lake at a glance. The lake is crystal clear and the photos are really good. The camera can't capture the beauty of Qinghai Lake. On the way back, you can see cattle and sheep on the train. It's really great.

It's a place worth visiting. You don't have to worry about the ticket price or how fun it is. Just walk around and sit by the floor-to-ceiling window.
The Zhagana Scenic Area is really beautiful, picturesque, and a paradise on earth. We stayed in Dari Village, the highest point, close to the sunrise and sunset viewing platform. Driving up the mountain, you can see everything. Driving down the mountain to the Fairy Beach and Fairy Lake is also very beautiful.

Traveling with a dog, the Sun and Moon Mountain Scenic Area is pet-friendly. There are beautiful prayer flags, prayer wheels, and the story of Princess Wencheng. There is an open grassland where little sheep are grazing leisurely.
Sun and Moon Mountain, a plateau landmark interwoven with history and culture, bears witness to the millennia-long fusion of Han and Tibetan cultures. Once a key point on the ancient Tang-Tibet Road, the legend of Princess Wencheng throwing a precious mirror here to transform the mountain imbues every rock with a rich history. Today, excessive commercialization is impacting this crucial point in the Qilian Mountains.

The experience at Xining Wildlife Park is very good. I feel that they are taking good care of the animals and promoting the close relationship between humans and animals. I bought the ticket directly from Ctrip and scanned the code to enter. There is no need to queue up to buy or exchange tickets. It is very convenient
It's worth it. The Nishino F4 venue is very close, so if you're pressed for time, just seeing those four species is worth it. Plus, there are some other animals. However, there's a smell, so be prepared.
