The Yellow Crane Tower is a must-see when visiting Wuhan. Climbing to the top offers a panoramic view of the mountains and the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. Visitors over 65 are also exempt from admission fees and can simply pay with their ID card, making it convenient for tourists.
If you come to Wuhan for the first time and don’t visit the Yellow Crane Tower and see the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, your trip to Wuhan will be in vain! The night view of the Yellow Crane Tower is still very beautiful, especially the light show is worth seeing.

After taking the ferry from Qingchuan Wharf, we arrived at the Qingchuan Pavilion scenic area. Qingchuan Pavilion, facing the Yellow Crane Tower across the river, is considered one of Wuhan's three major scenic spots, along with the Yellow Crane Tower and Guqin Terrace. Qingchuan Pavilion was originally built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, when Hanyang Prefect Fan Zhizhen constructed the Xue Yuji Palace. Qingchuan Pavilion itself is perched on a hill. Ascending to the second floor offers panoramic views of the Yangtze River and the Yangtze River Bridge in the distance. The gentle river breeze from the pavilion is a truly relaxing experience.
I chose this B&B based on reviews about the hostess's hospitality and clean rooms. It was exactly as described, and I truly experienced it. The second-floor ocean-viewing terrace was also incredibly nice. I spent some time there, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views. If it weren't for the weather, I'd have loved staying another night. I'll definitely be back for more next time. I highly recommend this B&B!

Wuhan's East Lake Scenic Area does not charge admission, but the area is vast, encompassing Wuhan University, the Provincial Museum, and Liyuan Hospital. However, electric vehicles, boat tours, and balloon launches within the area are subject to additional fees. The scenic area primarily encompasses the Liyuan District, Moshan District, Luoyan District, Tingtao District, and Chuidi District. Distances between these areas are long, so electric shuttles are available. Shared bicycles and electric vehicles are available for rental within the area, but these vehicles are not interchangeable between the various districts.
Of course, you have to take a boat tour of East Lake, and there's also a zoo on the lake's island. Both are fantastic. If you have time, take a bike ride along the lake. Bird World and the circus are also great, perfect for kids. It was my first time at Bird World, and I was able to get up close and personal with the birds, including sika deer, parrots, cormorants, and more. The botanical garden is also in this scenic area, but on the easternmost side. I haven't been to the Chui Di and Luo Yan scenic areas yet, but I'd love to visit someday.

It's worth the experience. I went with my children. Adults are 120cm tall and children over 1.3cm tall are half price. After boarding the boat, there are many people on the deck and limited chairs. For a better experience, I upgraded the cabin and sat at the bow. There are free snacks and drinks. Adults are 88 and children are half price. The whole journey takes one hour.
I've been on the Two Rivers Night Cruise many times. Sitting on the top of the boat, feeling the gentle river breeze, is so refreshing! The night scene on both sides of the river is dazzling and colorful, it's really beautiful! I highly recommend it!

Enshi Tusi City: A "Tujia Forbidden Palace" Hidden Deep in Western Hubei, a Soulful Landmark of Millennia-Old National Culture Enshi Tusi City, located in the northwest suburbs of Enshi City, Hubei Province, is the most complete extant Tujia Tusi cultural site in China and is known as "China's First Tujia City." Founded in the Yuan Dynasty and flourishing during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it served as the political, military, and cultural center of the Tusi system in southwestern Hubei. Having weathered centuries of trials and tribulations, it still stands majestically today, a testament to the Tujia people's glorious history and unique customs. Built into the mountainside, covering over 300 mu (approximately 1,000 acres), the city incorporates the essence of traditional Tujia architecture, including stilt houses, overhanging eaves, and carved beams and painted rafters, creating a majestic yet elegant atmosphere. The city's iconic Jiujintang (Nine-Entrance Hall) served as the residence and administrative palace of the Tusi king. Its nine courtyards, layered like a maze, highlight the strict hierarchical structure of the Tusi system. The Bell and Drum Tower soars into the sky, its morning and evening bells once echoing through the valley. The winding city walls and beacon towers, like a dragon, guard this ethnic homeland. A stroll through the city feels like a journey through time: you can touch thousand-year-old stone tablets, listen to the rhythmic drumming of the Tujia "Bai Shou Dance," watch intangible cultural heritage performances such as "Crying for Marriage" and "Playing the Liuzi," and experience the romance of the unique marriage custom of the "Daughter's Meeting." Every year on the third day of the third lunar month, Tusi City holds a grand ancestral worship ceremony, gathering thousands of people to the clamor of drums and music, a truly breathtaking spectacle! Dressed in traditional Chinese clothing or Hanfu, take in the stilt houses, city gates, and wind and rain bridges for incredibly photogenic moments! A visit to Enshi wouldn't be complete without visiting Tusi City. More than just a tourist attraction, it symbolizes the Tujia spirit—a living cultural museum and a national epic worth remembering.
I went to the Tusi Building in the afternoon, but many parts were under renovation. I took advantage of the tour guide's explanation and listened to many stories. The overall experience was impressive, but not much. The commercialization of the small scenic area is very strong, so there is no special feature. I also learned about the Tusi system. It is worth a visit.

Tangcheng Film and Television City, except for Monday when daytime tickets are 80 (there are no performances on Monday night), all other tickets are 120. It is recommended to go in at 3 or 4 in the afternoon. You can experience the scenery during the day and at night after the lights are turned on. There are quite a lot of performances. I checked in at Qinglong Temple, the Taoist temple where Jiang Changyang first met He Weifang, and I was very satisfied haha.
I made a special trip to check it out, as it's quite a distance from the city. I recommend visiting the park in the evening, when the lights begin to come on, to stroll through and relax. The scenery becomes even more beautiful as the sky darkens, and the various performances are also worth seeing.

The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, located between Chongqing and Hubei Province in China, are a world-renowned natural wonder and cultural attraction. A vital part of the Yangtze River, the Three Gorges comprise Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, and Xiling Gorge. Their magnificent canyon landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and unique natural scenery attract countless visitors. First, the natural beauty of the Three Gorges is breathtaking. Rugged cliffs tower along the canyons, while the surging river creates a myriad of unique rock formations and canyon formations. A boat trip through the canyons offers close-up views of the sheer cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and bizarre rock formations, a true testament to nature's unparalleled craftsmanship. Wu Gorge, with its deep canyons and shrouded in mist, creates a fairyland-like experience, a truly captivating experience. Second, the Three Gorges region boasts a rich cultural history. Once an important settlement for the ancient Ba and Chu peoples, the area has left behind numerous historical sites and legends. The ancient towns and villages along the Three Gorges showcase traditional folk customs and historical relics. The renowned Three Gorges Dam is a marvel of modern engineering, improving navigation and flood control along the Yangtze River while also garnering widespread attention. Furthermore, the significance of a Three Gorges tour lies not only in admiring the beauty but also in experiencing the fusion of nature and humanity. Whether on a boat trip or exploring the depths of the canyon on foot, one can experience the majesty of nature and the fruit of human ingenuity. Especially in today's climate of heightened environmental awareness, ecological protection of the Three Gorges has become all the more crucial. In short, the Yangtze River Three Gorges, with its magnificent natural landscape, rich cultural heritage, and modern engineering marvels, is a destination worth exploring for a lifetime. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or a visitor interested in history and culture, the Three Gorges offer unforgettable experiences and profound impressions. It is not only a natural treasure of China but also a treasured global heritage, and its awe-inspiring beauty deserves to be experienced firsthand by everyone.
The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, this magnificent river with thousands of years of history and natural wonders, made me feel endless shock and emotion after I set foot on it. Last year, my husband and I set out from Yichang and started an unforgettable trip to the Three Gorges. Looking back, it is still vivid. The first time I saw the Three Gorges Dam, I was shocked. Standing on the Tanziling Observation Deck, the "steel dragon" across the river in front of me is magnificent. It is not only a miracle of modern engineering, but also a symbol of national wisdom. During the tour guide's explanation, we learned how the dam tamed the Yangtze River with the design of flood discharge in the middle and power generation on both sides. Watching the cargo ship rise and fall step by step through the five-level ship locks is like witnessing a precise mechanical dance, which makes people sincerely admire the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature. Boarding the ship and entering the Three Gorges, the picture scrolls on both sides slowly unfolded. The majesty of Qutang Gorge is like axe-cut mountains, the beauty of Wu Gorge is like an ink fairyland, and the strange peaks and rocks of Xiling Gorge are like a natural sculpture museum. The boat sailed in the river, the clear water reflected the sky like a mirror, the clouds and mists lingered in the mountains, and the Wushan Goddess Peak loomed, like a fairy in the fairyland, which made people feel the poetic feeling of "the light boat has passed through thousands of mountains". In the depths of the canyon, the echo of the empty valley occasionally came, and it seemed that the cry of ancient apes had traveled through thousands of years. The beauty of nature was breathtaking. The beauty of the Three Gorges lies not only in the mountains and rivers, but also in the humanities. In the Three Gorges Family, we deeply experienced the unique charm of Bachu culture. The stilt houses were built on the mountains, the fishing boats were swaying by the river, and the local residents showed traditional handicrafts and folk performances in the melodious mountain songs. A bowl of hot Xiajiang tea and a primitive mountain tune made people feel the integration of simple life and natural scenery. Throughout the journey, nature and humanity blended like twin flowers. The majesty of the Three Gorges Dam contrasted sharply with the elegance of the canyon, while historical legends and folk customs injected soul into the mountains and rivers. Standing on the deck and looking into the distance, the river is surging, and the green mountains on both sides are like dark blue. In a trance, I seem to see the figure of Li Bai reciting poems and the echo of the boatman's call. The long river of history overlaps with the real scene in front of me, which makes people feel excited. This trip to the Three Gorges made me deeply realize that "the mountains and rivers are so beautiful". The magnificence here is not only a visual feast, but also a baptism of the soul. Whether it is the shock of engineering miracles, the natural beauty, or the heavy cultural heritage, it makes me have a deeper love and awe for this land. The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River are worthy of being the treasure of Chinese mountains and rivers, and it is worth every traveler to experience it in person. If you want to find a secret place that can embrace nature and humanity at the same time, the Three Gorges is definitely a must-go place in this life. The beauty here will remain in your eyes and will be engraved in your heart. Five-star recommendation, looking forward to the next reunion!

Rich and Diverse Cuisine: Known as the "No. 1 Lane for Han-style Snacks," it features classic Wuhan delicacies like Cailinji Hot Dry Noodles, Sijimei Soup Dumplings, and Laoqianji Bean Silk, as well as national specialties like Nanjing Duck Blood Vermicelli Soup and Changsha Stinky Tofu, catering to diverse tastes. A Long History and Culture: Founded in the Ming Dynasty, it boasts a history of at least 400 years. Named for its proximity to the Fantai Yamen, a branch of the Ministry of Revenue, it has historically been a bustling hub and a symbol of Wuhan's urban memory. Unique Architectural Style: Renovated in 2003, the buildings now reflect the Ming and Qing dynasty styles, featuring grey tiles, white walls, and wooden doors and windows, imbued with a rich, rustic charm. Strolling through the streets allows visitors to immerse themselves in the charm of old Wuhan. Experience Urban Life: The bustling atmosphere of the city, bustling with people and the aroma of local snacks, allows visitors to experience the local lifestyle and everyday life of Wuhan firsthand. Crowd Size Hubu Lane sees significant traffic, averaging approximately 80,000 visitors per day on weekdays and surging to 130,000 on weekends. During peak tourist season, the crowds are even higher, creating a bustling atmosphere. The best time to visit is during the early morning or evening hours on weekdays in spring and autumn, when the weather is comfortable and the crowds are moderate. This allows for a deep experience of the "Guo Zao" (early morning snack) culture and nightscape while avoiding the crowds. If visiting during holidays or peak season, it's recommended to plan your itinerary in advance, prioritizing the local snacks and balancing visits with nearby attractions.
Hubu Lane is located in Wuchang District of Wuhan City. It is a bit far from Jinli in Chengdu. It is a food street with quaint buildings as the background. Here you can eat all kinds of river seafood from the Yangtze River, as well as Wuhan's special snacks. There is a restaurant called beggar chicken which is also very delicious and is really wrapped in lotus leaves.

It was so much fun! The star, Mr. Zheng Guolin, was there, and you could interact with him. He was so nice and humorous. The beautiful Da Qiao and Xiao Qiao were also there, and the interaction and photo taking with them was so much fun! The show was great, the effects were stunning, and the music was beautiful. It's definitely worth seeing. This is my third time there.
The scenes are stunning, the images are beautiful, and the sense of presence is strong. It gives you a deep understanding of the Three Gorges culture, including Dayu's flood control, Qu Yuan's unyielding spirit, the bloody Battle of Changban, and Zhaojun's journey to the frontier. It's full of historical authenticity and a sense of reality! The design is also very unique!!!
