It is worth of money. To me, just go slowly to the peak of Glacier Park and enjoy the snowy surroundings is enough for 1 day. I will save other places like Blue Moon Valley for other time.
Great, worth visiting. Snow doesn't come until after November; there's no snow before then 🌨️. The cable car route is mostly through rocky mountains 🪨, so oxygen tanks are essential. Climb the steps at a steady pace, and breathing through your mouth will help alleviate altitude sickness. Blue Moon Valley is also worth a visit.

It's worth visiting, very good. There are fewer people this season. There are no refreshment points inside the scenic area, only automatic water vending machines at the entrance; there are none in other areas. I suggest adding more refreshment points. Abandoned facilities should be removed promptly, such as abandoned emergency telephones. Also, the scenic area's signage system is inadequate, the stones are far apart, and lack interest. The Stone Forest's charm relies on imagination; if the stones in front of visitors were displayed with more visually appealing signs, visitors would linger longer.
Worth a visit, the karst landscape is quite unique. The route is very complex, and surprisingly, there's no panoramic map, and the signage for attractions is minimal. I don't think it's necessary to hire a guide at the entrance. Most guides, to save time, only take you along the main route, skipping all the side paths. You can actually explore on your own at your own pace; it's not complicated. The trick is to just follow the man-made paths, and you'll be fine.

It's beautiful, don't take the cable car unless you just want to experience it. Xishan District is very large, just go to Haigeng Park and the Seven-Arch Floating Bridge. You can visit these two attractions on two separate trips.
The scenery is quite beautiful. It's about 2 kilometers long, with 1 kilometer on Dianchi Lake and the other kilometer or so uphill. The uphill part is a little scary, but overall I would recommend giving it a try.

The iconic red-brick building complex within the scenic area, including the Kaleidoscope Art Museum, the Half-Cloud Artist's Salon, and the Seal Carving Workshop, is incredibly photogenic. Designed by Yunnan artist Luo Xu, these structures are built using local red bricks, without the aid of reinforced concrete. The Kaleidoscope Art Museum, shaped like a wine bottle and a flame, blends the wine culture of Mile with the fire culture of the Yi people. Sunlight filters through the perforated red-brick dome, creating ever-changing light and shadow effects, perfect for taking pictures. The Half-Cloud Artist's Salon, with its exterior resembling a floating cloud, houses a café and restaurant, ideal for a relaxing break.
Dongfengyun is named after Dongfeng Farm. There's a historical exhibition inside that's worth visiting. It would be very beautiful during the flower season, but by early November there aren't many flowers left. Honestly, the 80 yuan entrance fee isn't really worth it.

The Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge offers stunning views of the Jinsha River, while the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge is a scenic hike. If you experience severe altitude sickness, you can buy an elevator ticket for the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge, which easily takes you to the viewing platform. Those in good physical condition can skip the elevator and climb the stairs in about ten minutes. It's recommended to buy tickets at the visitor center. E-tickets purchased through Ctrip are not accepted by the scenic area; you must exchange them for paper tickets at the visitor center, which also incurs a 5 yuan parking fee. Hikers don't need tickets; you can drive directly to the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge. The scenic area management is somewhat poor, but the scenery is definitely worth the visit.
The scenery at Tiger Leaping Gorge is undeniably beautiful, though the sightseeing elevator at 70 yuan is a bit pricey. The most unacceptable thing was the parking lot; it was full of pebbles. Given the significant annual ticket revenue, couldn't they allocate some of that money to repair the parking lot? The on-site guides were also inadequate. It was chaotic. There were also a bunch of scalpers offering to drive into the scenic area without queuing. It was so obvious on the way to the scenic area, why couldn't they do anything about it? Or do they have some kind of corrupt relationship with the local management? Thankfully, the shuttle bus within the scenic area is free.

I bought tickets on Ctrip for a self-guided tour. I took the Gantong Cableway up, then walked 10 kilometers along the Jade Belt Cloud Trail, transferring at the Ximatan Cableway, and finally taking the Zhonghe Cableway down. It was very comfortable; my legs weren't sore the next day, although it was a bit adventurous.
The view from the mountaintop was decent, but the staff at the Zhonghe cable car station were incredibly rude. We came here to have fun, not to owe them money. Who are they trying to fool with their attitude? I suggest they make improvements.

Hiring a guide for 200 yuan is definitely worth it. The guide will take you on a walk around and will take you to three intangible cultural heritage sites, such as silver jewelry sales, medicinal incense, and tea. You can buy things or not.
The miniature landscape park is quite large; you can easily walk through it in three hours. I recommend going as soon as the park opens, as many shows are combined at the beginning and become more scattered later, making it difficult to see everything. If you're short on time, it's not necessary to force yourself to go.

Driving around Lugu Lake was so comfortable! The roads were easy to drive on, parking was convenient, and it was truly a paradise on earth. We took a boat from Puluo Wharf and saw the morning mist. The locals were all very friendly. The stone pot fish was delicious, and the apples were also very tasty.
The journey from Lijiang to Lugu Lake was quite long, but the moment I saw the lake, it was all worth it! It truly deserves its reputation as a pearl of the plateau, and was the most memorable highlight of our Yunnan trip. Even now, more than a month after returning, I often think of the azure lake and the beautiful sky—a sight I'll never want to leave!

Whose travel bucket list doesn't include Daocheng Yading? This hidden paradise, known as the "Soul of Shangri-La," harbors some of the purest and most breathtaking scenery in the world—three sacred mountains stand tall and majestic: the holy Xiannairi, the handsome Yangmaiyong, and the magnificent Xiannaduoji, appearing and disappearing in the mist like guardian deities of a pure land. Milk Lake, like a blue-green gemstone scattered among the mountains, is nestled in a valley embraced by snow-capped peaks. Its crystal-clear waters reflect the snow-capped peaks and cloud shadows. Five-Colored Lake, with its ever-changing light and shadow, weaves together blue, green, cyan, and yellow hues into a mystery, offering a different breathtaking experience with every glance. Along the way, alpine meadows stretch as far as the eye can see, vibrant wildflowers bloom, yaks graze peacefully, prayer flags flutter in the wind, and even the air feels imbued with the purity of faith. The fatigue from traversing mountains and valleys will vanish the moment you see the lakes and sacred mountains. The beauty here possesses a primal purity and a powerful healing quality, combining the vastness of the plateau with the tranquil gentleness of the lakes. Every step is a cleansing of the soul, and every scene is worth treasuring for a lifetime. Daocheng Yading is not merely a scenic spot, but a journey to distant places and faith, a pristine paradise hidden deep in western Sichuan, a place that inspires longing in the heart.

The autumn colors were beautiful, but we didn't have enough time to see everything. The ticket price felt a bit expensive, especially considering we had just visited Baishuitai; the contrast was too stark. 😀
Pudacuo National Park is located in Hongpo Village, Jiantang Town, Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is a 5A-level tourist attraction. Major attractions include Shudu Lake and Bita Lake. The park boasts beautiful scenery, clear blue skies, alpine meadows, and geological landscapes, making it a popular summer retreat.
