My visit to Wangxian Valley was a mixed experience. Its distinctive Gan-style architecture, nestled against the mountainside, is truly remarkable. At night, when the clifftop buildings are illuminated, they evoke a fairyland, creating a captivating atmosphere and a highly photogenic atmosphere perfect for photo ops. The snack street also boasts a wealth of unique delicacies. However, the scenic area is heavily commercialized, with prices being high and unapproachable. Many of the goods and snacks are cookie-cutter, lacking in uniqueness. Furthermore, weekends can be quite crowded, and the experience is often discounted. Overall, it's a good stop on a side trip, but a special trip wouldn't be worth it.
