It was fun, the kids loved it. The parking time was short, and we had to leave before we had enough photos. It was not appropriate for Tuanshan Residence to charge extra. There was nothing fun, we had to park for so long, and there were not enough places to eat, so we ate in a hurry.
I didn't take the train when I came to Jianshui before, so I booked the ticket five days in advance. It was fun and convenient to visit the scenic spots by train. Water and lion ointment were prepared for each passenger on the train. It is a must-do item when you come to Jianshui.

There are no swallows in the "Swallow Cave," probably scared away by tourists. 😅 Every half an hour, there's a bare-handed cliff climbing demonstration at the cave entrance. The performers are incredibly impressive, climbing without any safety precautions, and it's truly nerve-wracking. You walk into the cave and take a boat out. The entire trip takes about an hour. However, there's still a distance from the main entrance to the cave.
Asia's No. 1 Karst Cave truly lives up to its reputation! A masterpiece of nature, the stalagmites, pillars, and various bizarre formations come alive. The free-hand rock climbing experience is truly breathtaking!

The Jianshui Xuezheng Examination Hall is worth a visit. It was the venue where students from the four prefectures of southern Yunnan took their imperial examinations during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is a significant historical relic in Southwest China and one of the best-preserved ancient examination halls in China, offering valuable insights into the ancient Chinese imperial examination system. Its meticulously symmetrical layout, comprised of six courtyards, showcases the splendor of Ming and Qing architectural style. The scenic area boasts numerous exhibition halls displaying over 3,000 historical inkstones and other precious artifacts, as well as sculptures recreating the examination scenes. Live performances such as "Lin'an Exam" and intangible cultural heritage experiences like movable type printing allow visitors to immerse themselves in the cultural atmosphere of the imperial examinations. Whether you're looking to learn about history and culture, admire the charm of ancient architecture, or provide children with a science education, the Jianshui Xuezheng Examination Hall is a great choice.
Entering the Jianshui Xuezheng Examination Hall is like stepping into a river of history. Located in the ancient city of Jianshui, this hall was first built in the 22nd year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty and later relocated during the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty. Facing north and south, the hall encompasses 6,000 square meters. With a corridor as its central axis, it features six neatly arranged courtyards and over a hundred symmetrically distributed houses. The first courtyard boasts a solemn ceremonial gate, the second courtyard boasts towering dragon gates, and the third courtyard's east and west writing halls were once the site of examinations, where examinees diligently wrote. Walking along the corridors, one can almost witness the dreams of students from the four prefectures of southern Yunnan, as they nervously prepared for the exams. Today, the museum's rich collection of imperial examination artifacts and realistically restored scenes vividly recreate those days, offering a profound sense of the rigor and solemnity of the ancient talent selection system.

The Lin'an Prefecture Office, a towering ancient structure, stands tall within the ancient city of Lin'an, Jianshui, drawing visitors from far and wide. Although its former glory has faded, its quaint architecture and rich historical heritage continue to attract visitors, becoming a vital part of Jianshui's ancient city culture. Entrance to the Lin'an Prefecture Office requires a ticket, so I only took a few photos outside.
This is Jianshui City, Yunnan Province, Lin'an Government Office, used to be the economic, political and cultural center of Jianshui District, was built in the early Ming Dynasty, and now it is the pattern of the Qing Dynasty, and has become a famous attraction in Jianshui City. This place must be a regional official residence, the construction of the atmosphere is magnificent, the momentum is magnificent. There are Yimen, lobby, Ertang, inner house gate six into the courtyard, East Fenxuan, Hu, Lisanke, West Fenbing, Criminal, and Gongsanke. Especially the lobby Spiegel high-hanging font has a majestic momentum, which is daunting. This is worth visiting for everyone to understand.
