Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area in Jiaozuo, Henan Province, boasts beautiful scenery and three main attractions. We spent a day and a half visiting Hongshixia, Xiaozhaigou, and Zhuyu Peak. To save time and energy when visiting Zhuyu Peak, we chose to take the Zhuyu Peak cable car up the mountain, then walked 2.8 kilometers to the Phoenix Peak Glass Skywalk, took the Phoenix Ridge cable car down the mountain, and stayed at the service area on the shore.

The three-day validity of the Yuntai Mountain ticket is definitely worthwhile. The mountains and waters here are beautiful, and staying at the service area makes it convenient to take the scenic shuttle bus, perfect for a leisurely visit. There are also many restaurants in the service area along the shore for convenience.

Yuntai Mountain is one of the most beautiful canyons in the 800-li Taihang Mountains, with Hongshi Gorge being its most scenic spot, boasting Danxia canyon landscapes rarely seen in northern my country. The scenic area is easily accessible. Tickets are valid for three days, and the facilities within the scenic area are comprehensive. Seniors aged 60 and above are admitted free of charge, only requiring a transportation fee, a relatively favorable policy.

Yuntaishan: A feast for both vision and soul

I went to Yuntaishan some time ago, and I still think that trip is wonderful.

When you step into the Yuntaishan scenic area, the first thing that comes into view is the iconic landscape Hongshi Gorge. The red rocks and the green streams set off each other, like a landscape painting with rich ink and heavy colors. Walking along the plank road, the cliffs on both sides of the canyon are of different shapes, and the workmanship is amazing. The waterfalls, deep pools, streams and other waterscapes in the canyon add a bit of agility and beauty to Hongshi Gorge.

The Tanpu Gorge in Xiaozhaigou also impressed me. There is a spring every three steps, a waterfall every five steps, and a pool every ten steps. The springs, waterfalls, streams and pools in the valley blend with each other, which is beautiful and worthy of the reputation of &quot;Northern Jiuzhaigou&quot;. In the Macaque Valley, the lively and cute macaques jump and play in the mountains and forests, adding a lot of fun to the journey. Climbing up Zhuyu Peak, the altitude of 1,308 meters made me realize the heroic spirit of &quot;standing on the top of the mountain and looking down on all the small mountains&quot;. Standing on the top of the mountain, overlooking the surroundings, the continuous mountains, dense forests, and lingering clouds are picturesque and intoxicating.

In addition to the natural scenery, the service of Yuntaishan is also very considerate. The signs in the scenic area are clear, the staff are warm and friendly, the toilets are clean and tidy, and there are many rest areas. When taking the scenic sightseeing bus, the driver drives steadily and introduces the attractions along the way. I accidentally lost my hat while playing, and I thought I couldn&#39;t find it back. Unexpectedly, the staff of the scenic area helped me find it and contacted me to pick it up. It was really heartwarming.

The trip to Yuntaishan not only allowed me to appreciate the magnificence of nature, but also felt the meticulous service. If you also like natural scenery, Yuntaishan is definitely a good place worth visiting.

I drove to Yuntai Mountain for dinner. I originally planned to visit Hongshi Gorge the next morning and go to Hongqi Canal in the afternoon. Because it was the closest to Hongshi Gorge, I found a homestay in Gudongyao Service Area. I talked with the owner at night and changed my plan to stay in Yuntai Mountain for a day, and then take Taihang Highway No. 1 to Hongqi Canal.
The next morning, I took the scenic area bus at the service area (60 yuan per person for three days, which is valid for shuttles between various service areas and scenic spots. There are several service areas, and there are many accommodations and restaurants around each one. You can park your private car at the hotel and walk very close to the pick-up point of each service area).
The first scenic spot is Hongshi Gorge, which is visited for about two hours; then we took a bus to the second scenic spot, Xiaozhaigou, which mainly includes Macaque Valley, Quanpu Gorge and Tanpu Gorge. It is difficult to see monkeys in Macaque Valley, so we can wander around for no more than an hour. We did not go to Quanpu Gorge because we came at the wrong time and there was not much water, so we had to go there for two hours. There are some waterfalls in Tanpu Gorge that are not very big and worth seeing, so we can spend no more than two hours. We took a bus back to our accommodation near noon to have a meal and take a short break, and then took another bus to Zhuyu Peak in the afternoon; the third scenic spot is Zhuyu Peak, which is a mountain road that takes nearly an hour to get to via Diecai Cave. After arriving at the station, we did not take the cable car or walk to the top of the peak (if we went, one day&#39;s tour would be enough), but went to the glass plank road instead. We had to buy another ticket for the plank road, 20 Yuan only takes about ten minutes to walk down 400 meters, but it takes about an hour to walk from the bus stop to the ticket gate of the plank road. There are not many steps. It&#39;s almost an hour to walk. After walking the plank road, it&#39;s late and I&#39;m ready to take the cable car down the mountain. As a result, I bought the ticket and was informed that it was suspended suddenly and I had to refund the ticket and walk down the mountain. The road sign indicated that it would take an hour and a half to get to the bus stop. I guess I was fooled to take the cable car, but it only took more than half an hour to walk down.
After a day&#39;s tour, I felt that the scenery of the scenic spot was good, clean and tidy, the attitude of the service staff was also good, the road signs in the scenic spot were very good, and tourists would not go the wrong way. The service of the bus driver was also in place. Although the time was tight for one day, the experience was good.
