Wansui Mountain Wuxia City is the most cost-effective in the whole Kaifeng. It is too big and the most sincere scenic spot. The scenic spots inside are rich in layers and have their own characteristics. It is the only place worth visiting in Kaifeng. Qingming Shanghe Park is not as good as this. Wansui Mountain Wuxia City > Qingming Shanghe Park
This was my kids' favorite scenic spot on this trip. They couldn't get enough of it in just three days, and even after leaving for several days, they kept nagging about going back. The scenic area really offers performances of all sizes, and the quality is excellent. The NPCs are very engaging and interactive. It's absolutely worth it, and the ticket price is very affordable. Five-star rating.

The park is clean and tidy. Although the weather is hot, the waiting time is acceptable. Most of the park has sheds to shade the sun.

Hiring a guide is a must for this scenic spot. Although the guides were a bit pushy at the entrance, they were paid for in person and provided excellent explanations. They also provided good answers to questions that went beyond the outline. The Confucius Temple is worth a leisurely stroll; it felt like every stone slab had a story. By the time I reached the Confucius Mansion, I was a bit exhausted and only had a quick look. From there, I walked east and, near the intersection with the Yan Temple, I found a teahouse on the second floor of the Ctrip Experience Center for some refreshment. The teahouse offers a view of the Yan Temple, a perfect tranquil spot amidst the bustle.
Personally, I think the ticket price is a bit expensive, but the tour guide I bought on the Ctrip app was very good. The explanation was both interesting and informative, and he took great care of everyone throughout the trip. The price-performance ratio was super high. Although the weather was very hot, I enjoyed the whole tour very much, and it was worth the trip.

I went to Kaifeng to check in at Kaifeng Mansion. I hired a tour guide at the door for 80 yuan so that the children could learn more about history. I watched almost all the performances inside according to the schedule, but there were too many people in the peak season and I didn’t watch the greeting at the door. I feel that this season is more suitable for visiting in the afternoon and evening.
This is one of the smaller parks in Kaifeng, but it still offers quite a few performances. Since the venue doesn't clear at night, it's a good deal if you can also see the night show with a regular ticket, but you won't be able to see the live version of "One Lantern."
The most exciting show is the one at the martial arts arena, but I recommend the others as well. It's probably the most informative of the three major parks in Kaifeng, so those interested in history and culture should visit Kaifeng Mansion.

The exclusive service is a must-try; it instantly energized the park experience. The meticulously planned tour guide made the entire trip stress-free, and even in the scorching heat, I didn't even feel the urge to return. The woman who accompanied us throughout the entire trip, driving and carrying our bags, was incredibly friendly and smiling, always ready to explain any areas we didn't understand. After a long day of hard work, she was there, completely worry-free... I was completely satisfied!
The guys at the first gate were really nice and showed us how to line up. We were able to get to the front of the line without getting sunburned. We went straight to the Visitor Center to get our passports stamped. The park is quite large, so it was a bit overwhelming to just rely on our legs. It was very hot, so it took a lot of energy. Overall, the experience was pretty good.

Finally saw Xia Yuhe. It was summer vacation, so the flow of people was relatively large. I didn't finish visiting all of them because it was quite large and the weather was hot. It's definitely worth a visit! It's too hot during the summer, so going at 4:00 p.m. is perfect. You can wear Hanfu and take photos first, then watch the National Show at 6:00 p.m., the Water Show, and the Langya Show at 8:00 p.m.—three large-scale performances all in one go, making the ticket price worthwhile!
The night scenery of Langya Ancient City is beautiful, and different areas have different performances. The Guoxiu Langya performance is quite good. You need to book one day in advance for an affordable ordinary ticket of 198. You can only get a VIP ticket of 298 on the same day. If you need to go there, you need to consider buying tickets in advance. If you don’t want to watch Guoxiu Langya, you can also watch ordinary performances in the scenic area. Awesome building, stands out. Unusually, lots of descriptors written in English also which was helpful for me, nice museum and worth a visit.
I was stunned as soon as I walked in - the "mountain"-shaped palace paved with yellow glazed tiles, with the sunlight pouring down, looked like it came out of "Dongjing Menghualu". I wore Hanfu and stood on the steps to take pictures, with my skirt fluttering, it was full of Song Dynasty style~

My family of four visited this B&B in Baoquan and had a fantastic experience. 👍🏻 The location is easy to find, parking is convenient at the door, and it's close to the scenic spots. The owner is young and handsome, and very welcoming. Most importantly, the room was spacious, clean, and airy. The moment I opened the smart curtains, I was in a room with a view. It was absolutely wonderful. The owner also personally picked me up and dropped me off at the scenic spots, which was very convenient. Baoquan town is full of delicious food. Turning left at the door, you'll find a night market with a vibrant atmosphere. This time, I had the most delicious lamb stew and barbecue. I'll definitely stay at your place again next time I'm in Baoquan. I highly recommend it to everyone.
There are a lot of people. If you plan to play in the shallows without catching fish, you must take a small sightseeing car to get in. You still have to walk a few hundred meters from the shallows to the Fengwei Waterfall! Otherwise, it will be very far with children. In addition, the fishing place charges a small bucket and does not allow the use of small fishing nets.
