I went to Taoxichuan on Friday afternoon. There were more people than expected. The red brick arches converted from the old factory looked solid. When the lights were on at night, the photos were really amazing. The stalls on both sides of the main street sold cups and ornaments. The prices ranged from 30 to 300 yuan. If you ask more, you can cut 30% off. If you want to buy handmade goods, turn into the small studio in the side alley. The boss is willing to chat and try glaze. It is more interesting than the main street.
Don't be ripped off in the park for meals. Turn left and walk 300 meters out of the gate. A small restaurant with fried pork with peppers costs 35 yuan. The taste is normal. If you want to eat better, there are many people at Ouji and Lele food stalls. There are only coffee and simple meals in the park, which are expensive and slow. The night view is the most crowded after 8 o'clock. If you want to take pictures, come at 6 o'clock. It's not dark yet, the lights are on, and it's easy to capture empty shots.
You can walk out of the park for a five-minute walk. There is a homestay in a residential building called Qingci Xianshe. There is a camphor supermarket at the door. I heard that the blue and white porcelain in the house is good, and there is also a remote message book. The only thing is that you have to climb the stairs, which is a pit for the elderly. The room is large and clean. I originally thought that it would be noisy near the downtown area at night, but it was quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle, and it was surprisingly quiet at night. The homestay is self-service check-in and does not provide meals, but the owner will point out the way to the locals to eat and play. It is opposite Taoxichuan and is also close to various scenic spots. You don’t have to worry about returning late when shopping. It is only a 5-minute walk away.
For transportation, take a taxi from the high-speed rail station and use the software. The black car at the door starts at 40, and the software arrives at 18. I walked to the platform on the first floor of the big square and took a taxi under a big blue sign, which saved the time of waiting for the car.
To buy porcelain, there are small stalls and vendors all the way down from our homestay, and all kinds of porcelain are dazzling. In addition to Taoxichuan, there are also Jiuji Town and Sanbao Village. I found a pottery DIY shop in Sanbao Village with not many people. I stayed there for half a day in the morning and made a kaleidoscope cup. The total cost was 80 yuan, including firing. Others praised it for being very beautiful. Jingdezhen left a deep impression on me!
Summary: Taoxichuan is worth visiting. Don't rush to spend money. If you can calm down and walk a few more steps, you will have a better experience.
