Taking children to a historical museum is like experiencing an immersive historical enlightenment. The guide's explanations of the artifacts quietly build their understanding of history. Our guide, Shang Jing, was very detailed and patient, which helped us all gain a deeper understanding. Parents can also learn along, avoiding the embarrassment of misinterpreting or not explaining things clearly to their children.
Tour guide Shang’s lecture was very good. His explanations were clear, detailed, vivid and interesting. We felt as if we were traveling through the long river of history. He also focused on explaining the museum’s treasures one by one. In summary, this trip to the Hubei Provincial Museum was worthwhile under the guidance of Tour Guide Shang. We will definitely come back next time if there is a chance!

Climbing the Yueyang Tower and gazing at the vastness of Dongting Lake, I finally understood the grandeur of "holding the distant mountains and swallowing the Yangtze River" as described by Fan Zhongyan. Thousands of years have passed, and the towers have been rebuilt and destroyed, but the scenery of "morning sun and evening shade, a myriad of scenes" remains. Standing here, it seems as if I can hear the ancients sighing, "worrying about the world before worrying about myself." If you come to Yueyang, you must come here to experience its beauty.
The ceiling of Changde Hotel was amazing. I was completely captivated by it after staying there once. From the cozy public areas and the good sleep in the guest rooms to the smart details and practical bathroom facilities, I was pleasantly surprised. The service at the front desk was excellent. As soon as I walked in, Xiao Xiang greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome. It was very comfortable and the check-in was very quick. As soon as I walked in, he kindly asked about directions and introduced me to the hotel. It is the best choice for value for money.

There's a large parking lot, making it convenient for self-drives. There's a bit of a climb from the scenic area to Baidi Temple, but the scenery is stunning. The Kuimen checkpoint is also spectacular. I bought a package for the Three Gorges In-Depth Tour, and the scenery from the boat was also quite nice. Be careful to take precautions against the heat and sun during summer vacations.
The parking lot is large and convenient. Upon entering the scenic area, we recommend taking a ferry to the museum restaurant on the other side of the Yangtze River. You can get up close and personal with the scenery featured on the back of the ten-yuan renminbi and take photos. History enthusiasts will also appreciate the Baidi City, which features information on the entrustment of orphans and inscriptions from various dynasties.

A few things that could be improved: First, the VIP room didn't have its own private room, just a screen partition. Secondly, the VIP room wasn't designed to accommodate summer crowds, leaving some customers with nowhere to sit. They ended up giving out plastic stools or having to stand, which wasn't quite what was advertised. Positives: The scenery was beautiful, the route was well-organized, the group meals were good, and you didn't have to queue with other people. There were dedicated shuttles to each attraction, and the tour guides were very attentive and helpful, saving everyone some detours.
The car went to the boat and returned. Because there were too many people that day, there were not enough shuttle buses for the land itinerary, resulting in hundreds of people queuing outside and could only see the sights in a hurry. The scenic area responded too slowly, the vehicles were not arranged in time, and there was no one to maintain order in the queue, which led to many conflicts. It is recommended to redesign the queuing mode. The itinerary on the boat is quite good.

Those who have not experienced the natural scenery of mountains and rivers and the characteristics of ethnic minorities can experience it. The boat into the Three Gorges and the NP experience are not bad. Generally speaking, it is suitable for northern tourists. Southwestern tourists may not think it has any special features. In addition, it is too hot to travel in August. It feels like heatstroke.
It was a great day trip. We took a boat trip in and out, and arrived at our destination with a relaxing, scenic view. Upon disembarking and ascending the mountain, we were captivated by the Yangtze River. The boat sailed along, offering breathtaking views of the natural beauty and cultural performances that fully showcased the Three Gorges' landscape and people. The numerous performances added to the fun of the trip, and while we sat and watched, we also had a chance to relax. The overall pace was excellent. The food at the scenic area was also reasonably priced and delicious. The staff were very dedicated, especially the uncle who played the flute on the boat. He would start playing whenever someone approached! It was a beautiful experience!

It's worth a visit. It's recommended to go at night because the sun is too strong during the day. However, the children had a lot of fun. The wild people of Malan Mountain had water splashing interactions, and they were still happy even if they got wet... The layout of the venue is a bit scattered, the signs are clear, and the waiting time for some projects is a bit long. It is recommended to inform tourists of the approximate waiting time and whether each project is open should also be clearly informed
Changsha Window of the World is located on the banks of the Liuyang River in the northeastern suburbs of Changsha City, Hunan Province. It covers an area of 400,000 square meters and is a comprehensive theme park that integrates architectural wonders from all over the world, song and dance performances from all over the world, large-scale equipment amusement, pioneering fashion activities, and film and television shooting bases. Changsha Window of the World was built in 1995 and opened for trial operation on October 1, 1997. It is one of the first 4A-level tourist attractions in the country.

Yuelu Academy is a large academy. There's a reception desk at the entrance, where you can join a group for a 45-minute guided tour covering the central axis and the Temple of Confucius. The academy's west gate is near the Aiwan Pavilion, while the east gate is directly opposite Hunan University. Yuelu Academy, nestled in a mountainside setting, is one of the four great academies of ancient China. A thousand years old, it remains remarkably well-preserved, a microcosm of the long history of education in Chinese civilization. The academy boasts elegant landscaping and magnificent architecture.
When I arrived in Changsha, Yuelu College was always going to go, one of the four major colleges in China. With the blessing of Chairman Mao, I went even more, and then the ticket was 40 yuan, and the price was OK. Some courses of Hunan University are still in Yuelu College. It is best to ask a tour guide to understand the history of the entire Yuelu College, otherwise you can't see anything when you walk around.

The scenery inside is absolutely stunning, and the lighting effects are even more stunning! It was also incredibly cool (a bit chilly!) The boat ride that impressed me the most was the feeling of sailing through the Milky Way in just a few minutes, with a vast expanse of stars. Beautiful…
Huanglong Cave is very long, with less than one-third of it open to the public. Part of the cave requires a boat trip. Another 12-kilometer-long cave that also requires a boat trip is Fengyuyan Cave in Lipu County, Guilin. The cave features excellent lighting and animation.

The directions were unclear, especially since the parking lot indicated by the navigation was actually at the exit. You had to take the scenic shuttle bus no matter where you parked. The trip up and down was tiring and extremely hard on your knees. The weather was hot, and only at the bottom of the valley did you feel a bit of coolness. The water project wasn't fully developed and was still under construction. If you haven't been to Zhangjiajie or other places, it's worth a look. If you've already experienced it, it won't be as unique.
Sishi Heart Valley Scenic Area: The canyon is deep and quiet, the cliffs are steep, and the underground river is rippling. It is known as the "Natural Museum in the depths of the earth". ‌‌ The scenic spot is a comprehensive scenic spot with "risk, strange, ancient, wild, secret, and show" as the core feature, integrating geological wonders, human origin sites and Tujia culture. It is a comprehensive scenic spot with scientific research and exploration, and a healthy and healthy tour. The whole journey is about 2~3 hours!

Changsha Huayi Brothers Film Town has its own unique narrative style among many cultural and tourism towns across the country. This is not only a real-life film location, but also a place of life aesthetics that deeply integrates "film IP" and "international culture". Among them, the "Italian Town Block" inspired by the movie "Fated" is particularly eye-catching. The film itself tells a love story across China and Italy, and in the construction of the town, Changsha has truly "built" this screen love into a real space that can be visited, lived in, and experienced. When people come here, they can encounter street musicians on the steps of the "Assisi"-style mountain city, or sit on a gondola in the "Venice"-like water lanes and listen to the boatman's low singing; they can walk into a century-old Italian leather goods store and smell the blend of leather and time, or drink a cup of authentic Espresso in a traditional Italian coffee shop and chat with strangers about poetry and the distance.
So happy to visit there. I visited during low season and was quiet. Feels like visiting Venice.
