Baotu Spring is one of Jinan's three major scenic spots. It borders Quancheng Square to the east and Wulongtan to the north, and is ranked first among Jinan's 72 famous springs.
During his southern tour, Emperor Qianlong, impressed by the mellow and sweet tea made from the spring's water, decreed it "the best spring in the world."
Baotu Spring is often visited by tourists, so be sure to arrive early to avoid crowds.
There were so many people. The attraction is right on the road, and we parked in the parking lot across the street. No one gave way at the zebra crossing when we crossed. Isn't Shandong so hospitable? A car with a Shandong A license plate drove so fast and aggressively, I had to dodge cars while standing on the zebra crossing with my child in tow. On the other hand, it was always the out-of-town cars that gave way. I hope the relevant Shandong authorities will pay attention to this. After all, many people from other places come to see Baotu Spring. I hope my next visit to Jinan will live up to the hype. Baotu Spring was so crowded, the water in the scenic area was so clear, and the weather was so hot, it was a bit of a torture to come here that day.
