Qinghai Lake offers beautiful scenery and fresh air. Despite its high altitude, altitude sickness is minimal. The driveway along the lake is beautifully constructed. The Erlangjian Scenic Area is less interesting, with its man-made landscapes that feel out of harmony with the natural environment.

Guan'egou Scenic Area, known as the "Little Jiuzhaigou," is divided into two scenic areas: Guanzhugou and Emangou. A pass is valid for two days. The two areas are separate, and the drive between them takes about half an hour. We first visited Guanzhugou in the morning, and the scenery was breathtaking: canyons, mountains, waterfalls, streams, and a harmonious blend of nature. In the afternoon, we visited Emangou, where the lakes, waterfalls, lush pines, and unusual rocks were breathtakingly beautiful. Overall, it was a very good trip and highly recommended.

There are tons of mushrooms in the area, all kinds of them. It's quite interesting. The scenery is comparable to Huanglong Lake, and there's a lake similar to Jiuzhaigou. It's just a little small, and the entire walk took about two and a half hours.
The picturesque natural landscape and vibrant colors of the calcified pools are truly a place where the gods reside! It offers all the attractions of Huanglong, and with minimal crowds. I don't think you'll regret a trip here!

It is recommended to visit the Yellow River Stone Forest on your own. We went with a tour group and were in a hurry. It was a pity that we could not reach the top to have a bird's eye view of the entire Stone Forest. There were many transportation changes in the middle, and the service in the scenic area was also average. The Stone Forest itself is still very shocking, and it is mainly necessary to leave enough time to explore it slowly.
I think a lot of what's written in a certain book is too harsh. This scenic area is truly beautiful, with a Journey to the West feel. It's definitely worth a visit. Many tourists are deceived by the solicitations of Longwan villagers in the parking lot. The scenic area is actually well-managed. While the ticket price of over 100 yuan seems a bit expensive, it's well worth it. There's both a bus and a yacht. If you let the villagers take you down, you'll still have to buy tickets for the yacht and the Stone Forest Canyon. So I decided to buy the combined ticket for 146 yuan. After checking in, you'll be taken by bus, then seamlessly transferred to an electric car, then to a speedboat at the pier (the prices in the village at the pier are very high, so be careful when dining). Then, you'll get a seamless sightseeing bus. (I found the self-drive go-kart a bit expensive, and the canyon wasn't very easy to navigate after the rain.) The final section to the observation deck requires a 30-minute walk. It's quite a steep climb, but the view is truly breathtaking once you reach it. (I advise against taking the horse-drawn carriages; they don't even go uphill. There's a flat section, and then you have to climb again. And if you're pulled back, it seems even further away.) It's said that due to dam construction in the next couple of years, this attraction will be closed to foot.

The most stunning attraction was Xining Ocean World. As the world's highest aquarium, you can see lively penguins, spectacular dolphin shows, and the unique Qinghai Lake naked carp display on the plateau. The children's eyes lit up the entire time, and the underwater performances were truly captivating. A ride on the 108-meter "Eye of Qinghai" Ferris wheel in the land park is a must-do. When it lights up in the evening, you'll get a panoramic view of the park, creating stunning photos. This is fun and very safe. The masters of the sheepskin rafts No. 65 and 66 that we took were very nice and sang local folk songs for us. Shapotou, Ningxia is worth visiting.
